Lots of people have said that.
When I first heard of this show, I thought to myself, "I wonder what color they'll be?". I was hoping purple as Matt Groening has never used that before.
Turns out he just went back to normal color, which honestly disappointed me.
Well, it does have green elves, so I'll give it that.
Well, about time Groening announced some new shit. I want to see it.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...
x3 I mean, Futurama has the exact same style. So it probably is just Matt's Signature Style.

And what's wrong with his Signature Style? At least he knows how to draw way more than Only Six Faces.

Apparently Matt Berry is supposed to play some sort of an arrogant prince, so maybe he'll be the one.
Maybe they'll have yellow goblins or monsters as a Lampshade Hanging? Futurama already did the jaundice joke.
I wonder if they'll have an eccentric wizard character similar to Futurama's Professor Farnsworth.
Matt Groening once said he wanted to do Life in Hell for television and I'm dismayed that it's never come to pass. LiH is the funniest and most brutal thing he's ever done. It's even sharper than early Simpsons. Do we know if he's involved in writing this new show?

I am told that’s how The Simpsons came to be. Fox wanted Groening to do Life Is Hell animated shorts for The Tracey Ullman Show, but only if he’d sign over the rights to them. Groening refused, but still wanted to do shorts for them, so he threw something together featuring characters slightly based on his own parents and sisters (with Bart being the self-insert avatar).

@Soble: As was already pointed out, The Simpsons is closer to 30 years old. The general consensus is that the show has been sucking for the past 20 seasons, or about 2/3 of its existence.
Anyways we can hope that this new cartoon will be more like Futurama, which most agree hadn't suffered from too much Seasonal Rot when it ended after 7 seasons (spread out over 14 years).

So, I wonder if Luci (the shadow demon) can see into Princess's Bean's mind or dreams. I am curious about it because if you look closely at the promo image, Luci's shadow is the wrong way around, which means that it has powers, possibly. Also, I wonder if Beanlandia will have a few Fantasy Culture Counterparts to the show as well?
