I don't mind them so much in Sonic Boom for obvious reasons.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!"At some point in the IDW Sonic, when will we see the IDW version of Sticks show up and be a part of that universe? In fact, could we see Sticks and IDW Amy Rose become BF Fs?"
“We’ll work backwards on that. As far as I can tell, the canon version of Sticks is that she is always friends with Amy. So that can just be assumed I guess. When, where, and how we introduce Sticks to the comic, I’m not going to say, because that would be spoilerific. I’m sure she’ll show up at some point because she’s super popular. She’s, like, the only spin-off material that has bridged the gap into main canon that I can think of off the top of my head. And I’m not counting the Freedom Fighters showing up in Spinball, that’s another thing altogether. That doesn’t count, really. So, yeah, Sticks will show up at some point.”
Kyle asked Ian if Sticks would have the same design: “Yeah, because her art on Sonic Channel is pretty much the same so it looks like she’s just coming over wholesale”.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Chapter's out
Glad they finally addressed that nagging question about the Wisps. If they were freed from being used as weapons, but then they stick around for several games...including the latest one where they were used as weapons. But its ok, they are volunteers! Also it looks like whoever is the big bad of this story, they have their eyes set on the Master Emerald while Knuckles is not guarding it...

Blaze isn't in a lot of main-series games, presumably because of the 'other dimension' thing.
The Protomen enhanced my life. She was in Rush, Rush Adventure, the gameboy version of Colors, 2006, and made an appearance in Black Knight as a different character, Percival.
With the exceptions of Rush, 2006, and Black Knight, any appearances she made always felt insubstantial. She was in the comics but I don't remember her having a significant story arc.
Meanwhile, Silver appears in Forces, and Riders, and Rivals and and the comics.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I meant every mainstream game. And Blaze was in Riders as well.
Blaze isn't as much forgotten as much as she's newer then most characters and we've entered era where characters are started to be underutilized. How much meaningful appearances after Sonic Rush Adventure had Omega, Rouge, Chaotix, Babylon Rogues or Cream? Not much.
But yes, other dimension business is mostly keeping her out of focus in comic books (although Silver wasn't doing that much better after reboot)
It was too bad that the Archie Soft Reboot was cut two short, because there was so much potential that was wasted because of stupid former employees making frivolous lawsuits.
I think they're grouped together because Nack, Bean and Bark all appeared in Fighters and then vanished. (Nack was supposed to be in Xtreme, though, and he'd appeared in Triple Trouble and a Drift game or two.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.

For me, the two best sidekicks Eggman's ever had were Snively from Sat AM/Archie and Grimer from Fleetway. Both of them gave Eggman someone to work off of and do his dirty work, but they rarely made Eggman himself look bad and were entertaining, awesome characters in their own rights. Whereas Orbot and Cubebot exist purely to make Eggman look incompetent and make jokes.
