From what I’m hearing Adam sounds pretty one-dimensional.
Would have been interesting if he was a more layered & multi-dimensional character than just Jeff from Family Guy.

Just to overanalyse placeholders, here are thoughts about the AH cast
- Saki: The Lancer to Heart, so of course
- Petra: The mascot for AH 2
- Akane: The mascot for the update for AH 2
- Weiss: The mascot for AH 3
- Scharlachrot: The final boss/boss before True Final Boss, so she is fairly notable
- Minori: Mascot for Six Stars
- Kamui: I think she has the coolness factor in her side
- Fiona: She is bit strange to me, but she is the mid-boss of AH 1, so I guess she isn't too out there
- Kira: ...Okay, she is here because she is that popular (and hey, more grapplers)
I might make another post on SK characters, but I do admit it would parrot someone else's post somewhere else.

If people feel his character makes sense and that he was just an abuser and nothing more, fine. But I'm firmly of that his character was changed to accommodate a change of plans on the writers.
But since you addressed me, I can give the same courtesy.
So then in Volume 5, he is defeated politically, which fits Blake's arc and felt like a good conclusion for her. Yang has no personal beef with Adam besides cutting her arm off and that was changed because their fight in Volume 6 was supposed to happen in their volume 3 confrontation. It feels like a tacked on addition to justify Yang's involvement in a story arc she otherwise has no relation to.
Sienna just existed for Adam to kill so the audience hates him more, and nothing else.
I firmly believe the writers had no idea what to do with Adam, so they just haphazardly tacked on a storyline about being an abusive boyfriend with him because they knew how popular Bumblebee was and cashed in on it. And evidently by how much the shipping fandom loved it, they succeeded.
I don't care about Adam at all mind you, I'm just calling a spade a spade and its among the NUMEROUS issues with the series' writing
