Definitely will agree that the first Cloudy movie was the better movie. Seems to have a lot more creativity and cleverness with it than the sequel (which I honestly still really didn't absolutely hate) or the TV show (which didn't last very long, from what I could tell. Apparently it was just that bad).
I've still only seen the first Hotel Transylvania movie and one episode of the TV show. The movie was good, and from what I've seen of the TV show, it's decent.
Still no signs of any reviews for....well, you know. Was this jacksfilms guy only liking said movie ironically?
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."The second Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs film was alright I guess but the animation felt really strange compared to the first one. Like, people moved in a way more cartoon-y and exaggerated manner that really felt off compared to the first film, not to mention everything about it compared to the first film felt off. Personally I feel like the film's strength was in the food puns.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?![]()
Just checked. Still nothing on the Tomatometer yet. No scores or anything.
It opens in four days. Don't most big animated movies have scores on RT at this point? I don't want to be that guy, but that really doesn't bode well if you ask me.
Yeah, have to agree with you there. I did like the designs on some of the foodimals. Those marshmallow critters were some of the cutest things I've ever seen in a movie.

"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""Usually"?? ... they make it a practice to shut off the movie from reviewers before it's released??
When I first heard of the idea for Cloudy 2, I thought the food would be bad-ass action monsters who the main characters have to fight and stop, like Transformers. ... with the exception of Taco Supreme, I got nursery-rhyme chibis.

Yeah, the Tacodile Supreme was probably the coolest part of the movie. (And I already mentioned that I found the Marshmallow creatures to be actually kind of adorable.)
Anyone have anything to say about the Cloudy TV show? I know everyone was talking about how terrible it apparently was. What was the worst thing about it?
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."
Actually I skipped out on watching that show. Ironically though I didn't skipped out on watching the television show of Hotel Translyvania.
Serious, Dracula has a sister who looks like him and voiced by somebody doing an Adam Sandler impersonation? The people who made the cartoon really want me to remember that Jack & Jill was a thing.
The Cloudy show changed elements of the timeline for the first movie to fit the premise of a TV series aimed at school kids. There's nothing new that I haven't found in any other Saturday morning cartoon about a misfit kid in school.
Okay that frustrates me. If you're gonig to put Dracula on a bus, why replace him with another tall authority figure who is voiced by a guy imitating a woman??

Apparently...uh...the-movie-that-shall-not-be-named experienced some sort of gaffe recently?
(Please be constructive in your responses.)

I almost thought it was a review for the movie, but no, it's an article about how the movie's Twitter account homaged The Handmaiden's Tale of all things...
Hmm, yeah, I fail to see the logic in using an original series regarding a dystopia where dudes commit unspeakable junk to women to promote your cashgrab of a PG-rated movie. ("A faaaaaamily picture")
Well, it's not like they can cancel the movie's premiere, can they? They're better off getting into their panic room and wait for the coming storm to tide over.
This is why you don't base your movies on trends, unless you can actually make a premise that doesn't rely too heavy on pop culture that will be dated or are too hard to appeal to the kids.
My idea of an Emoji movie would be have it be about Jailbreak, who has to fight an evil virus inside her owner's phone. Then it would come off more like an Osmosis Jones rip off, but it would be less of an Idiot Plot than what we have now.
A Very Loosely Based on a True Story telling of how they came to be (and/or be popular) ala The Magic Voyage.

Agree.
