A boss in a Touhou Luna Nights-style game. Apart from shooting spheres of energy, they can throw their spear which duplicates mid-air and summon pillars of light that fly in from the sides of the arena.

A Dual Boss, of course, both of whom rely on music-themed attacks. Riko uses more structured attacks meant to box the player in while Ruby's are faster and less predictable.

I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.

A That One Boss in a game with a Kingdom Hearts-styled combat system. Mainly rushes towards the player should they be too far away from her and uses combo oriented attacks and occasionally projectiles which either poison you or darken your field of view, making it harder to see what is going on. Can also set down traps which, should the player step on, will deal a ton of damage.

A flight-based boss in a RPG, with the boss being a pseudo-Lightning Bruiser. The boss relies on fast movement, flight, and dodges to protect its relatively weak health; frequently, it will launch sudden flurries of attacks with the intent of overwhelming the PC's defences, before retreating when struck or after doing enough damage. The boss can utilise two special moves: the first involves the boss flying up high, then dive-bombing the target to initiate a QTE - if failed, the boss drives its spear into the target's chest, causing massive damage and inflicting the 'Bleeding' and 'Lowered Agility' status effects. The second special attack involves summoning a number of minions, all of which are identical to the actual boss; the boss will retreat and begin to heal until the minions are destroyed.

The boss is infamous among debuff-based players, as it is completely immune to any debuff effects, though it is considered something of a cakewalk by fighter-based players due to the high damage output of these characters. Mages and archer-style fighters tend to vary - some find it easy due to their DPS, others hate it due to its immunity to poison's negative effects, or the lasting effects of spells.

A Colossus Climb sort of boss found in an Action RPG. You don't fight them necessarily, but you avoid his attacks while defeating his 4 minions, who hold parts of his power. In Phase 2, he solidifies, allowing you to attack head on.

A sorcerer type boss, who keeps her distance while assaulting you with an array of magic attacks. Going by the expression, probably reluctant in doing so. Might be able to be persuaded to stop as part of the story, so presumably that's done by exploiting openings until she either gives up or gives the protagonist a chance to convince her.

Or something. I dunno.

A boss that has an affinity towards dodging and generally fast movements. Mainly attacks from afar using flame magic though she can do melee attacks, which will inflict a Bleed status effect that can stack. Her weakness is that, if you manage to circumvent her advantages, she has low health and is lacking on defences, having low Physical Defence and slightly higher Magic Defence.
