A joke boss. They do very little damage and most standard attacks are enough to take him out in just one or two hits. He does come back later in the game however and is much more menacing and puts up a better fight.

The boss of a fighting game. Comes with unblockable moves and cheap AI especially on the hardest difficulty.

Has a demonic form that is the first phase of the boss fight, then calls for backup as she is defeated. After defeating all of the backup, she falls back into the demonic realms of her origin.

There is always a possibility, no matter how improbable it may seem. Just start thinking about it, and it will haunt you forever.

A "Get Back Here!" Boss that also dodges ranged attacks. You need either enough speed to consistently get close or attacks that cause lots of splash damage to win.

A big, buff physical tank that gets Super Armor and irregular heals if their Digidestined isn't taken out before they are. Like a mix of Broly from Fighter Z and Bowser Duo from Partners In Time.

Insane damage, insane durability, and the final boss.

A miniboss in the final level. It attacks from a floating platform above the arena by shooting missiles and enemies at you, and can only be damaged by reflecting the missiles back at it.

How unfortunate that you are attempting to deceive me.

Hidden Bonus Boss. Can be fought by repeatedly talking to a certain NPC for 999 times, at which point he gets mad and pulls out a butcher knife and initiates the battle.

A boss that uses the default weapons, at the maximum level and with horrifying efficiency. Probably happens towards the middle of the game, and the character themselves could be one of the Psycho Rangers or The Rival.

The second to last boss, and one who uses every Eggmobile from the previous worlds, before eventually getting her own spider shaped mecha.

There is a time limit, and said spider mech only has one weak spot.

Probably The Dragon to the final boss, as well as being That One Boss... unless you know one simple trick that half the player base (and every speedrunner) knows by now.

A recurring boss that continually pursues the player throughout the game. Tends to attack from range with a pistol, but will engage in a fistfight if needed. Notable for being as persistent as they come - the player can be attacked by the boss in almost any location in the game, aside from boss areas and designated 'safe zones'. When defeated, the boss will retreat and will not attack the player for the rest of the time they spend in the area.

Notably, there is a distinctive lack of solid information on the boss's background in game. Other bosses (barring the final boss) have documents scattered around the levels preceding their battle, which provide the player with the story behind the boss, the boss's strategies/weaknesses, or both. This boss notably lacks any such documents, aside from a single, heavily redacted one found in the tutorial.

Sometimes viewed as That One Boss due to the fact that it can attack anywhere, anywhen after its introduction - more than one player has Rage Quit after the boss attacks them while they are on low health, without giving them the chance to reach a 'safe zone' or save point where the boss cannot follow.

A gargatuan robot boss in a Steampunk FPS. It deals damage by swinging its massive arms, forcing the player to dodge the arms. It has two gatling guns that deal piercing damage to the player's armor while it launches high-damage splash with its rockets.

A large, heavily fortified base in a 4X game. Damage has to be done stealthily, otherwise the attackers will fall almost immediately.

Another hidden Bonus Boss. The process of fighting it is a bit convoluted: First, you need to harvest some grapes from a certain grapevine (which is nigh-indistinguishable from other vines), and then find an opossum NPC at certain hours of the day. Feed the grapes to the opossum, and then wait for several in-game days. This will trigger a flag where the opossum talks to you. Picking certain dialogue options will result in the opossum permanently hostile, but do not attack yet. Instead, wait for an in-game week. The opossum will ambush you along with its fellow tribesmen, now wielding stone weaponry and using advanced tactics.

Whether you beat the boss or not, this will unlock a secret ending where a "Foundation" agent appears and detains you.

Fought directly before the almost-final boss, similar to Zan Partizanne. It uses primarily ranged attacks, but has various counters. All of its projectiles can be reflected, and this is the quickest way to defeat it. Outside of this, its armor must be broken before any damage can be dealt. Immediately after its defeat, the almost-final boss will attack.

How unfortunate that you are attempting to deceive me.

A trio of bosses, operating in a team. The three ambush the player during the 'Transit' stage - the point where the PC is moving between the game's levels. Unlike most bosses, their appearance relies solely on chance; some players may play through the entire game without encountering them once, others may encounter them immediately after using the transit for the first time. The chance of meeting them increases by 3% with each use of the Transit, capped at 75%. The bosses' strength scales to the player's progression in the game.

In battle, the three fight in sync: One will utilise Interface Screw to invert the controls, create illusions that divert attention from the real bosses, and generally obfuscate the player's senses. This boss tends to be viewed as the 'weakest' (as much as this term can be applied here) of the bosses in the physical sense - while durable, the PC will usually have at least one attack, item or similar capable of doing major damage to the boss by this point, and tends to heavily rely on ranged attacks and illusions to fight. This member of the Trio has a particular vulnerability to one particular class of attacks, which result in a large damage multiplier should one be used in the fight.

The second member of the Trio is frequently decried as 'That One Boss' due to its nature. Of the three, this one has the highest damage output, with near OHK-Level damage and massive physical durability - most attacks that would down a boss in a single stroke deal minimal damage to her. The boss, to make matters worse, is something of a Lightning Bruiser, with high speed and a tendency to fight from mid-to-long range. This boss's regeneration makes it a priority target; if left alone for long enough, she will simply negate the damage done to herself. The boss, however, has a weakness to several items and elements the player can find from the very start of the game and bears the first member's weakness to a certain class of attacks.

The third and final member of the Trio acts as a mix of the previous two. This boss uses Interface Screw to hide her allies and attacks from view, allowing the player to see them only when they are almost literally in front of them. Highly durable, in the same way as the Second, and can deal massive damage when striking. The boss's main danger is that she enters the field of battle only when both teammates are defeated, and fights in order to prolong the fight for as long as possible. If allowed to prolong the battle for a sufficient length of time, the other two bosses will revive and 'tag out' with the third boss, essentially resetting the fight. Shares the same weakness to a certain form of attack as her teammates, but also takes vastly increased damage from 'Legendary Weapons'.

These weapons are found in hidden locations, with one in each stage. Each usually requires the player to solve a puzzle, defeat a guardian, reach a certain point in the story, or have a specific item on their person to access. They also provoke a change in the third boss's strategy when used - rather than stall for time, she will flat-out attempt to annihilate the PC, holding nothing back. In gameplay terms, this manifests as the third boss being two orders of power stronger than they would normally be; a player at 60% completion, for example, would face the 80% completion-strength boss. This also causes unique lines of dialogue during the fight.

Some players undertake the 'Triple Terrors of the Transit' challenge - they fight the Trio at the earliest possible point in the storyline (done by constantly moving between the first two levels to boost the encounter chances) without any items beyond their starter gear. This is done after editing the save file so the Trio's power is far higher than it should be (in older versions of the game, before an extra difficulty level was added in a program update), or while playing on the hardest difficulty level (All bosses are locked at maximum power, regardless of storyline progression, and items become significantly harder to find. Have fun.).
