*canned laughter*

"Hmmm..." I look into my donut stash, but all I have left are a jelly donut and a bear claw, neither of which I am willing to part with.

Wait... What's this? Could it be??

"I'll trade you five donut holes."

"Deal"

I set down my blueberry donut to offer Zan the donut holes, taking the scrumptious lemon donut for myself. It tastes like delectable godly ambrosia - the perfect blend of sour and sweet. I make several unfortunate noises as I revel in the bliss of the lemon donut.

(She ate all the chocolate)

"Man, I'm full."

"No, not the chocolate! ...What were we doing here, again?"

Zanreo goes up to what looks like the reception while eating a donut hole, but no one's there. "Um, hello?"

Steph peeks at the reception desk, "Nope, no one there."

Galaxy sees Afterwards: "Oh! Nice! A newcomer!"

Steph thinks about The Power of Love in the meantime. She concentrates so much on it that she starts glowing!

"Does she glow often, or only when making that weird face?

"Shouldn't Tropes, myself, Ford and Chey be glowing constantly then?"

"For the last time, I've known you guys for years," I sigh exasperatedly.

"Good to know you won't be saying that anymore"

Steph stops glowing and blushes hard, "Oh sorry, daydreaming as usual... Now, where were we? Oh yes, The Power of Love is a very beautiful thing..."

"Well, dang! How come Ford and I aren't walking lanterns yet?"
(Cue canned laughter.)

"Is love really that powerful?" I wonder. "That sounds kinda like a bunch of fairy tale stuff."

As the party finally enters the police station, inside is a woman, seeming to be of the same species as the officer outside. She's speaking some gargled language through her snifflesnort on a Space Phone, before eventually hanging up and directing her attention to the group.

"Good quanglar. How can I help you?"

"Oh, a very good quanglar indeed. Say...do you know what to do about visiting?"

"Not that I'm trying to free someone or anything! My...uh...friend...is, uh, very concerned about justice, and she wants me to go into the prisoners' cells and beat them up even more!"

"No wait...I'm not a vigilante or anything. She wants me to, uh, beat them up with...flowers? It's...uh...it's an Earth custom."

She pauses, fear in her bug eyes.

"Did you just say Earth?"

"Yes!" Heather chimes in. "They are Earthian! Of Earth origin, so to say."

The receptionist sighs, reaching under her table and pulling out a pretty gigantic blaster and placing it on the table.

Tropes watches wearily.

"Uh, thanks for the offer, but I brought my own flowers."

Taco gasps. "After! You stop that! These people are just trying to keep civil!"

Taco shakes his head. "I'm sorry, they're new."

KJ walks into the police station.

KJ: "Hey guys what did I mi-oh fuck, not The Power of Love!"
