Guys, let's go to Funland! It's gonna be fun!

it's actually not gonna be fun

"Hey, if it's not fun, we'll make it fun."

My duct-tape roboassistant hovers into the room.

"Okey-dokey, kiddos, let's hit the road! Me and siree have just the thingy!"

"I really have to design a new personality for him..."

I walk outside. "I said I was doing mad science, and since my assistant-"

"My name's Buddy!"

"...My assistant wanted to make things that aren't "doomy," I made a flying car!"

A car floats down into the driveway.

"Wait, really?" I say to the cricket. "The adrenaline must have clouded my brain or something. ...Can adrenaline do that?"

The cricket retorts, I got a Tesla during the heist. Feel like hover converting that? It's better for the environment.

"TEA'S READYY!!!!!!" I suddenly call at the top of my lungs.

"TEA!!!!!!"

Oh yeah, we never had tea! I sit down properly at the little tea table.

"We kind of do need more than one car, so I'll see what I can do."

I start work on the Tesla.

Taco, who had gotten to the amusement park early, was sitting alone on the Ferris wheel. "God, these guys are taking a millennia."

I begin pouring cups for everyone, whether they asked for it or not.

I pour my cup onto Buddy. He sparks briefly.

"Young sir, I believe that pouring tea on someone is very impolite. Please apologize both to me and to the woman whose tea you wasted."

Thank you, dahlink. I drink tea abnormally elegantly, as classical music plays in the background. I make sure not to sip too loudly, drink too quickly, or have bad posture.

Meanwhile, the cricket starts tweaking the self-driving system for hover mode. Turning the wheel is hard for a cricket.

I drink all my tea in one gulp.

Bev's phone rings. It's Taco.

I get in my hover car's driver seat.

"So, everyone ready to go?"

SUDDENLY SONO CHI NO SADAME BEGINS BLARING THROUGHOUT THE APARTMENT as my phone rings. I pick it up and begin.

"Heeey, Taco!"

"Beeeeeev. I'm stuck on the Ferris wheel... where are you guys?"

"We're about to head over. Why are you stuck there?"

I spit out my tea in an epic spit take. STUCK?

I look at the camera and say, Uh oh!

The cricket bursts in and announces, The Tesla's ready as well. All aboard.

"All right! And DON'T WORRY TACO!" I yell at Bev's phone. "I'LL GET YOU WITH A HOVERCAR!"

Then I shoot off into the sky.

"I really hope you all put seat belts on!"

I get the feeling I'm forgetting something.

Meanwhile, Buddy stares forlornly at where my hover car was before I left him behind.

"Well, come quick, it's hot as hell up here. The engineering is fried"

A tree suddenly sprouts out of the ground. It then splits in half and a large red sphere falls out, which opens and reveals a smaller blue sphere, which opens and reveals an even smaller yellow sphere, which opens and reveals a tiny elevator which rises out and opens. Out of the elevator pours a black inky liquid, which forms together into a large cocoon, which breaks open. Penroses steps out of the cocoon.

"Well that was a cat-astrophe!" Canned laughter plays.

"Hey Penroses, we're going to an amusement park. Wanna come along?" I say, not really taking in the eldritch horror that just took place.

"Sure, Zorp!"

Sam the cricket chirps, Looks like you'll all have to fit in my flying Tesla. Let's go. The cricket leaves.
