I mean, I think both versions of Super suck about equally, but there's bits I like from both, and I dont actually hate either version because at least they aren't GT or Evolution.

Super might barely edge out GT in places, but it still always does, at least for me anyway.

...I don't like the fanboy otaku mangaka Toyble just as an artist, but it's not entirely his fault he got picked just because he could ape a (stiffer, more soulless) version of Toriyama's artstyle.

That he seemingly can't draw a single panel without just flat out tracing something (including from the original Manga) is a bigger concern.

Think of it this way. If you hate Jiren, now you can beat him up to your heart's content.

Xenoverse essentially made him into Toppo & he was better for it.

Shit this game generally has goood character writing so hopefully he’ll be fun.

Top would have been better. His God of Destruction form is so ridiculous that it loops back around to being awesome.

But we only really need one Pride Trooper and Jiren is the rival so...

I'm hoping Top will get in here too. He's a fun character and definitely has enough of a moveset from the show.

If Jiren doesn’t have a throw with the “What’s wrong?” From Xenoverse 2 delivered in exactly the same way I’m going to be disappointed. :p

Chances are he's going to have something better.

Whether people like it or not, Jiren has always been one of the most requested characters to be in the game.

Don't jump the gun and assume there's a season 2 of DLC, whoever decided to include Jiren in the character pages

There's definately a season 2 of DLC. I'm guessing that Jiren will be bundled with UI Goku. No idea what the second and third bundles could be, but I guarantee that the final DLC set will be New Broly and Gogeta Blue.

I mean Jiren could easily just be a one-off.

If there is a Season 2, I'm guessing it will be UI Goku/Jiren, Gogeta/Broly, SSJ 4 Goku/Omega Shenron, and Janemba/Kafla.

My top hopes for DLC season 2 (that are at least somewhat plausible):

Set 1: UI Goku and Jiren

Set 2: Roshi and Kid Goku

Set 3: Kafla and Toppo

Set 4: New Broly and Gogeta

Yeah, i can see them mostly using the anime for move inspirations.

It's not like I'm trying to publicly make them feel bad in any way, but I'm pretty sure there's a history page to identify any users on who edits any pages or tropes

First scan of JIREN

I like his look so far, but that's only one image, and it looks like a cinematic, at that.

Actually, looking at it closer, it has his distinctive solid fire aura around his punching arm, so he looks even a bit better than I thought at first glance.

That sure is Jiren. Well, I do actually kinda want Super!Broly and Blue!Gogeta now.

I'll honestly be disappointed if the Spirit Bomb Black Hole isn't a Dramatic Finish between him and SSB Goku.

I'm more interested with what they'll do for the inevitable Better!Broly and Blue Gogeta matchup.
