One minor thing that has always bothered me is that Sorbet shoots a beam from his laser gun from behind Freeza, when he should be shooting it from behind the opponent.

Man that trailer should be the opening instead.

For all the complaints about Super, Limit Break X Survivor is still a great song.

Listening to the instrumental version right now. T'is wonderful.

Man, I still remember the way the early previews and teasers plus the release of the new theme got people pumped for the Tournament of Power.

And then the actual tournament itself happened, and... eh...

Boy is that true (Shakes head in disappointment).

I was like Team Jiren when he first showed up in the OP & then after seeing him for real....... well you all know how I felt.

Can I get some feedback on my idea for the Mafuba as a 16 Selfdestruct-esque OHKO technique for Roshi? I worked on it a lot, and I feel like it's balanced, but I might be missing something really obvious.

Mafuba is a Level 3. Roshi puts a jar or rice cooker on the ground and shoots a spiraling beam of wind out of his hands that grabs the opponent. It is a one-hit KO, but it does damage to Roshi's recoverable health equal to the opponent's remaining HP. If Roshi runs out of recoverable health, it continues doing damage to his HP which is not converted into recoverable health. If the opponent had more HP remaining than Roshi had total recoverable health and HP, than Roshi dies, but the Mafuba still works and seals them away. Roshi can use the Mafuba multiple times in a match. If Roshi would die from using the Mafuba after the first time, the Mafuba fails, Roshi dies, and the opponent is unharmed.

Re watching the TOP I don't think it's nearly bad as people made it out to be. Then again I've realize relying reaction from any community isn't all that great idea to begin with.

You say that like there isn't dissenting opinions.

Its how life works. You have some sort of opinion one way or another.

Huh that could work. More self-destruct attacks are always welcome because of how you much you can potentially fuck up on them.

@DBS: As far as I've seen, the TV Tropes forum community is harsher on Super than the rest of the general fanbase is.

I'm just saying that the amount of Super positivity I've seen around the web from random people on most sites seems to outweigh the Super negativity. I do see hate, but not as often as love.

It still is. I mean, it's cooled off a little, but not by much.

Ah. I mean I've had a change of heart about Super myself lately the more I rewatch it.

Still, that thread used to rile me up to the point I was arguing for the sake of arguing. I don't go in there anymore for that reason. No point being frustrated to the point of hysteria. Bad enough I happen to like Dragonball GT.

I do find it amusing that I used to hear everyone praise Super for not being GT, but at least here Super was getting just as much, if not even more crap for existing than GT.

That's because it's current, and GT isn't. People react to what's in front of them.

I think Super is a great deal better then GT, but nobody going to continue giving GT crap except on an anecdotal basis, because it's no longer relevant any more.

That's not a bad idea but I think it would be better if the Mafuba work as snapback function to balance the risk to using it.

Youtube generally likes Super, I'll never touch tumblr with 50 ft pole stick, & reddit can be mix but overall they mostly enjoy it. They're still bunch of judgemental dick though.

That's sentiment I echo with. Well not so much on the GT part, that still should've been better what it was. That being said people clearly like certain parts of GT. *COUGH*SSJ4*COUGH*

Can't say I'm familiar with "snapback function". What is it?

Snapback is when you force a character switch with one of your moves, in FighterZ's case it's a universal input done by holding an assist button during Dragon Rush.

Seems like that kind of defeats the purpose of the Mafuba if all Roshi's going to do with it is throw his opponent to the bench.

Going off everything what you said making it OHKO isn't the best idea. This is a game that people will find a way to exploit the hell out of.

There's a fairly simple solution to that, which is to give it a lot of easily reactable start-up frames, comparable to 16's lunge forward. Make Roshi putting the sealing vessel onto the ground take time, so it's impossible to combo into.

Man, the recent patch was REAL nice to Beerus.

IIUC, it buffed the startup and execution speed on his Facepalm of Doom, made the 6-ball move faster to execute, and made his "shoot everywhere" move faster and more invincible, to be a proper reversal move, yes?

All that, and it let him move earlier after his Finger Poke of Doom ultimate, giving him better post-Level 3 mix-ups. Doesn't factor into a combo video, but a sizable buff regardless.
