@Lt.B Gob: yes. Let's call him Mr. Brubaker, for now. He thoroughly enjoys building models and will more often than not bring his own little creations in as a way to demonstrate math in actions. Although he initially went for a Film major, Mr. Brubaker eventually switched his focus to education, and preaches for kids to always 'try new things'. One of Rogers High's many legends say that Mr. Brubaker will show his student noir film to classes that do exceptionally well.

By the by, would you folks be interested in opening a Discord chat? They're very helpful, useful, and a much more sleeker form of communication.

I personally really don't like Discord all that much since it's a massive pain to keep up with (in my experience it's really hit-or-miss when it comes to notifying me about updates, and furthermore recapping the chat is frustrating since it likes dropping me off at the most recent messages rather than at the beginning of the unread messages).

With that being said, some kind of live chat would be nice. While Discord is not my preference, I'd still use it if it's what everyone else wants to use.

I'd suggest Skype, but it sadly causes my new, crappy laptop to bluescreen whenever I try to run it. So for me, Discord is the least worst option. Just this discussion thread is fine, too. I kind of miss discussion threads.

When are we gonna start the RP?

Any characters are totally free to have heard of Finn, by the way, even if just as that one stuck up guy at school who dresses in business casual every day. If you'd like your character to have known Finn from earlier in his high school career or middle school years (before his fall from grace, as it were), just lemme know and we can work out details.

In particular, Valerie might have at least heard some stories from Acting Club, even though she came in after he had already left to form Chess Club. I doubt anybody who didn't know him from before or who didn't pay close attention to the rumor mill would know about his father being the former mayor, though. I don't really remember anybody in high school paying attention to local politics, even the politics/history nerds (and I would know, since I was one).

Any of you who want to start out knowing Panju, feel free! In any case, you've probably seen him around at some point. As an awkward and long haired Indian-American man, he's kinda hard to miss.

I would prefer a Discord chat over Skype, but both are fine with me.

So I noticed that a couple of us mentioned our character's non-super-powered skills in their sign-up, and I was wondering whether that's something we should all do? I'm just worried about a situation where, say, we have to pick a lock, and it might come off as an ass pull if one of us had lock picking skills that'd just never been brought up previously (then again, new skills outta nowhere are very comic book-esque and it might be fine so long as we could justify how our character would know said skill).

I do have Discord, but no mic. I don't mind using it, but it would still be text based for me.

If it makes sense considering your character's backstory, then I don't mind them no being in the sheet. That said, if something seems iffy, I will point it out.

I even edited an Oldport seal from the actual Newport seal. It's a patchwork job, but it's so small nobody will notice it... or even see it... oh god, did I just waste my time?

So I've been thinking about it guys, and given the age and how awkward he is around others I think Adam would only really know Mirelle, and that would be because he occasionally goes to the bakery before school. He probably sees Ciro as "that big nice guy" and Finn as "that older asshole" but because of the age difference he probably only has the "biology club" with Ciro and has never been Finn's target, (well yet).

Also he only knows Hans exists because of the therapy thing I mentioned in my post. Even then, he mentally can't get his name right.

Do these lack of relationships work for everyone so far?

Hey, fine by me. It'd be boring if everyone in the cast were already introduced to Finn unlikable qualities.
