So, where's announcement of second season?
I wouldn't expect it too soon. Assuming Netflix does go for more, the production behind Dark Crystal is so involved, it could be quite some time before anything new would be ready.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireFrom what I could gather the series was overall quite popular so the chance for a second season is decent, however it was done mostly using puppetry so it would likely take a while to make the other season.
My favorite part what when the puppets were operating puppets. Bringing in Barnaby Dixon was an inspired decision for that scene.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI've noticed that many of the actors and puppeteers are from the UK, just curious is that where the series was filmed?
According to The Other Wiki, it was filmed in the UK.
Isn't Jim Henson's also just generally popular in the UK as well?
The Muppet Show itself was mostly produced in the UK.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireY'know if/when they make a second season I really want to hear Clancy Brown voice a mystic and I don't know why.
Do we know if a second season is coming? I thought it was fairly well received.
The show has been cancelled after one season.
.....Fuck.
Like, I knew it was a Herculean effort to put the first season together and that same required level of effort combined with COVID-19 hamstrung production of the second but...fuuuuuck.
Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)WHAT? NO! Damn you 2020 DAMN YOU!!!
WORST.FUCKING.TIMELINE.
Dreadful news... Didn't they have ways to save costs with all that was built for the first season?
Oh damn this is a huge shame. I really liked the first season.
This is some absolutely terrible news.
I hope they at least manage to wrap up things with books or somesuch.
I guess unlike what Archer said, we'll never see what lies at the dream's end.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."This is very disappointing.
I got some of the tie-in material comics and books and game and I'll keep plugging away at those but I was looking forward to seeing how things would have continued on in the show.
I do hope that they do a continuation in some other way. But possibly Netflix rights issues will make that difficult.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAnd this cancellation came just a few days after the show won an Emmy.
Apparently it's because it's one of the most expensive seasons Netflix has ever produced... and in the end the audience allegedly remained "niche", show allegedly wasn't talked about as much as The Witcher and the like... A pity.

Not surprising. The puppetry alone must have been a time consuming nightmare, not to mention the effects and the like. Better to throw that money at Cowboy Bebop I guess.

Of my many regrets regarding this is that we won't get to see the Mariner in live puppet action
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI remember hearing that this series was originally going to be animated, perhaps they could try that again.
Yeah the Mariner was one of the ones I was looking forward too.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
