This seems like it. I mean, it's apparent that Alan was really invested in this show.
Maybe if there was less of the cartoon crossovers it would be easier.

I would have thought that there would have been more interest in this show, especially since it's similar to Invader Zim, which eventually became a cult classic.

It seems to have a lot of sprawling lore with books and stuff.
