Yeah, I bought his structure deck. But his theme still has a lot of really weak cards.

Honestly, synchros as a whole haven't started great. Most of the dragons being skill-locked probably doesn't help. I think the only KOG synchro deck I've seen on the subreddit was X-Sabers

Azure Eyes was by far the best synchro next to stardust, and even more so with the new structure. Gustos have fun stuff but we only have one boss, and aromages are fun with both Luna and akiza, but I feel like more plant synchros are needed before they truly bloom.

What synchros do you guys hope to see in this game, and probably more important, which do you NOT want to see? I feel like Buster Dragon would be busted as all heck seeing how hard DNA Surgery is going in for Buster paladin. And an AI used Greydle Dragon on me so I hope they arent considering that monster either...

I'd like to see Road Warrior. In addition to it being really strong, you can flood the field with more tuners and stuff to get out another Synchro.

BIG changes coming in

• Cyber Style Nerf: requirements are the same, but the Cyber Dragons cannot be tributed or be used as materials, except for a Fusion summon. This effectively nueters a ton of decks, including sylvans, Vampires, U.A., azure Eyes, you name it.

• Life Cost 0 Nerf: You only get 1 free cost. Can only be used once a duel. What I mean is you cant use Cosmic Cyclone spam and use Cyber Stein to spit out 2 huge monsters anymore.

So the whole game just got shaken to its core, free to play players are weeping loudly in a corner, Furries are murdered again, and Amazoness will likely scoop once their main trap has been taken out. Konami might introduce more ways to slam Traps like it, Penalty Box and Sea Stealth in the future, but who knows.

On the one hand, I'm mostly fine with this as it shakes up the meta but... they're going to introduce a new inevitable tier 1 deck in the next box aren't they?

Oh, most certainly. Its a classic Konami move to let us actually have busted stuff, banning said stuff, and then immediately bringing in new busted stuff. like how Fur Hires got in like not even a week after the Sylvan Gutting.

So, does anyone here still plays the game?

The game changed so much from 2018. We have Synchro and 5Ds world, we have DSOD world, we have lots more characters from both worlds, and we even have generic non-extra deck Cyberse cards in the game now. (The Cyberse stuff are the ones bad enough to not make any impact to the game, though.)

The current meta consist of stuff like Shiranui, Dark Magician, Crystron, Invoked, and Cyber Dragon.

Oh and "Cyber Style" Skill still gets another nerf, to the point where its text is now longer than the text of some cards in the game lmao

Konami should really consider to just change the skill completely at this point.

I stopped playing because i was juggling between 3 different gachas at that point and they made Cyber Dragon a UR which I HATE

I might come back when im more financially stable but grinding in 3 gachas sure is time consuming. The aromage uprising has me tempted tho.

New minibox is coming, featuring the first Cyberse archetype for DL, Mathmech, as well as Megalith archetype, and finally some more generic Cyberse cards, after the older main box Truth Universe gave us some. Cover card is Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon.

Zexal Era is coming Real Soon! Starting September 29th, we finally get to Xyz monsters and enter a whole new meta. I took a long hiatus (about a full year), but ive felt nostalgic so im hopping back on the saddle.

I stopped because I wasn't making progress on any of the missions and just basically got bored playing the same decks over and over again with no variation. It's still on my phone though if I ever get sick of Fate/Grand Order.

I've been playing since the beta! I haven't seen the anime after Duel Monsters/DSOD but I've been enjoying the GX and 5Ds worlds. I'm curious to see what they'll do for Zexal!

Datamining implies our first archetypal Xyz are Gagaga and Bujin ones. And one Stellarknight.

Started playing about a month ago. Haven't really touched Yugioh since the OG days, but I'm having fun figuring out combos and Synchros. So far I've got Blue-Eyes and Lunalight decks and am building an Aroma deck. None are optimal, but I'm able to get some wins PvP. Guess I'll have to figure out Xyz as they start coming in.

If I were you, I'd focus on the Aromages. Not only are they actually pretty potent, but probably one of the most f2p friendly meta decks around, with I think only 1 SR in a minibox everything else is either normals, rares, or in the card trader.

Humid Winds is basically the only card left I need for Aromage. Well that and Aromage Jasmine, but I don't think I can actually get that card at the moment. Still really fun to use. And annoying to fight.

Never would've imagined that a 20-card deck + 6 extra deck cards would give me about a dozen ways to summon Blue-Eyes, but I can't complain. Very fun to just swarm the field with them even when they're getting destroyed.

And yeah, it's a very cheap deck.

I am building a Megalith Deck. All of their cards is in 1 box so they pretty cheap, especially when combine with Cyber Angel. My other deck are Six Samurai (most of their good stuffs is in one box), Shiranui (also in one box), Aromage and Red-Eyes.

oh wow, that's one hell of a banlist and skill changes.

They finally use the Forbidden category.

And some skills becomes harder to use, with Shadow Game now having its burn limited. Stall Burn deck just got harder to use, especially with Lava Golem's burn being nerfed. Good.

RIP Grass, your memes shall be missed.

Seeing as the game is going through maintence and the Zexal Era is about to begin, which are some cards you'd like to see in duel links? Im personally hoping we see Rikkas eventually, but early meta, Id like to see something like Geargias getting their time to shine.
