Having finally finished the season, I can say I enjoyed it. I'm not very familiar with the Carmen Sandiego franchise, so I'm not as attached to her original version as some might be. Nonetheless, I was entertained throughout the show.
Also, I can't be the only one who noticed the similarities between Chase Devineaux and Inxpector Clouseau.
One thing I really like about this show is how it deconstructs the idea of theft being a victimless crime. As is mentioned many times throughout the show, the artifacts Carmen protects may not have much monetary value but they do mean something to the cultures they belong to.

The think people like about carmen was the fact about her being a chaotic neutral thief who can pull REALLY awsome shit and get away with it, make her more heroine kinda mess with that.
And with stealing...it depend, stealing artefact or to rich people feel less let said, mugging someone ot creating a scheme for example.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"
People get attached to things. It’s the human condition.
Also a live action movie? Cool. Looks like their attempt to relaunch this has gone swimmingly (although the most controversy it built was whether Carmen could work as a Lupin III style antihero), so that’s a good sign.
Well, there's difference between private property and personal property, but I think this really isn't the best time and place to debate about marxism. It's topic about our comrade Carm... I mean, most definitely not-political at all, perfectly innocent animated series about red-and-black-coded Wo C stealing from immoral rich people.

How is the edutainment factor? The trailers made it seem like a plain ol' action show.
