Double King

So, this beautiful little... thing of an animation came out earlier this month, courtesy of one Felix Colgrave. It's an animated retelling of Ozymandias! (Except not really.)

I'll rewatch later to see if I can find anything deeper to it, but for now I recommend watching it for the trippy adventure it is. I'll always enjoy by characters who manage to emote a lot without any facial expressions, and the titular king here gets a lot of mileage with just hand motions and eye movement.

Hah, Felix Colgrave. I randomly stumbled on his work one day^note I typed "honk" in the search bar just to see what would come up, because of a friend who would type "honk" at random, and I've enjoyed his brand of 2D perplexity since. He's the line-art animation Cyriak.

God, this animated short is incredible. I thought it was hilarious how that poor snake king never caught a break, even in death.
