Finley hugs back, still smiling.
I'm so lucky. To be with all these people that legitimately care about me... I'm so lucky.
Long live the New Bev.Jack quietly talks to Finley as he enjoys the hug
Jack: So, before I go, would you like me to tell you my handle?
The League of HeroesMeanwhile, in Room 347, a rather grumpy-looking Hakamo-o was sitting up in a hospital bed, with a much thicker cast around his neck. Aside from pretty grumpy, it was clear he was having a lot of trouble focusing on anything. His eyes wandered all around the room - figuratively speaking, of course - and there seemed to be great reddish rings of drowsiness beneath them.
Ripley soon stood by the door and knocked in a specific tune, politely waiting for a response. She had to raise a brow at the rather odd occurrence of rain inside, but otherwise didn't pay it any mind.
"Eggghhh... I know it's you, Ripley, just get yer ass in here..." Lars said in a raspy voice, rendered unable to yell by his swollen neck.
Ripley obliged, carefully opening the door, walking inside and closing it behind her, making sure to grab a nearby towel and dry herself off before going in any further. The ruff around her neck was of particular attention.
"What the hell is... goin' on out there? How the... what? Huh?"
"I don't know either... I feel it'd be best for both our sanities if we didn't think about it."
"Whatever. So, whaddya want, Ripley? Has dad sent y'over t'gimme a lecture? 'Cause I did way better this time, y'know! I actually took one of 'em down! Why won't he just gimme a freakin' cha- egghh..." he stopped to cough.
Ripley sighed and once more put her claws behind her back. "Master Lars, may I make a suggestion?"
"Not really..."
"That's unfortunate, because that was a rhetorical question. You needn't be so agitated at all times. ...Your father did tell you of the Salamence, didn't he?"
"'Course he told me about the freakin' Salamen- look, just... whatever it is y'here for, just get it over with, will ya? Y'ain't my mom, an' I'm half-dead. I ain't puttin' up with yer shit..."
"That's the right attitude to have, Master Lars. You'll go far in politics," Ripley said, standing near a seat. "May I?"
Lars groaned and looked away.
"I'll take that as a yes. Thank you."
Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read!I dunno. (I tell Marlon.)
(I turn to Gloria.)
Hey, uh, ma'am?
Yes, honey?
How soon do you think Finley will be able to leave?
Well...from what I've been told by Dr. Star, she's recovering so fast that she could be leaving within the next little while!
Really? That's great!
I'll send someone up to tell her that she's ready to go.
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""If you want, Jack. Take your time with this, if you need to. I'm not rushing anybody."
Long live the New Bev.She smiles again.
"It's good to know who you are, Jack. I'm happy to see you here too."
Long live the New Bev.Jack: Well, I'm getting hungry, so I'm off to find a new restaurant. Hope some whack doctor doesn't show up and experiment on you while I'm gone!
The League of HeroesMila nods, and charges the electricity in her cheek pouches carefully. She's not used to using it to harm, aside from the full-on releases like thunder bolt, and she doesn't think Niles wants quite that much pain. After a moment of hesitation, she creates a small orb of energy in front of herself, and then tosses it at the Quilava.
"Watch out!"
I need to update these things more oftenVon Gold finally reached his hotel and found his credentials inside his room
Von Gold: *sigh* Why is good help always so hard to get these days?
The League of HeroesI grunt as I take the hit, feeling the electricity go through my body. (How am I supposed to do this?!) I try and figure out how to harness it for myself, but quickly fades away. "Damn it…!" I take a deep breath. "Okay… hit me again!"
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."Um... mind telling me why you want me to do this? As much as I want to help, it's a bit worrying being asked to hurt you repeatedly."
As Mila speaks, she charges up more electricity, though she seems reluctant to release it just yet. There has to be a reason for this, since there's more than enough people who'd be willing just to hit him.
I need to update these things more often(I follow Marlon to Finley's room. I stand just outside of it as he speaks to Finley.)
(Good grief, they weren't kidding when they said there was a storm in here. All the water, the sand...what a mess!)

"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""Oh no..." Any optimism on her face vanishes as she hears "bad news."
"What happened?"
Long live the New Bev.(Oh, right. Probably should've explained it to her.) "I wanna learn a new move, but I can't do it by myself. It's an Electric-type move, so that's why I came to you." (I'd rather not ask Andy for this. At least Mila seems to tolerate me.) I brace myself again. "Whenever you're ready."
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."Oh... okay."
Mila almost releases her second charged attack, before stopping herself, and looking at Niles with a confused expression on her face.
"Wait... so you wanted to learn this move by having me hit you with electricity repeatedly instead of, you know, asking me how I handle the stuff?"

Jack leans over and carefully gives Finley a hug
