Jack: So, did any of you have a TV Tropes account like me before all this happened?

The League of HeroesJack wasn't supposed to hear any of that.
For the first time since I came to this world, I gave Finley a smile. A small one, but it was genuine. "… Yeah." Suddenly, I remembered the reason I came here in the first place. "Oh, right. I wanted to train with Mila…" I look over to see that she's talking to Andy. "When did he get here? Oh, well… Guess I'll have to wait."
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."All of us did. That seems to be the one link between everyone." She says as she turns to him.
Looking back to Niles, she begins. "Well, the storm has to end any second now, considering how long it's been going, but you'll be out soon."

Long live the New Bev.Jack look out at the storm. It's still billowing sand and hail, but it seems to be slowly dying down.
Jack: Well, I think it's safe for me to leave now, provided that I'm cautious in the storm. How about a get-well hug before I go?
The League of HeroesMila looks over to the others, and resists the urge to facepalm at Jack's suggestion. However, she notices that Niles is done talking to Finley. He seems better emotionally, which is a pleasing sight for Mila.
"Yeah, it seems like that might be related to the cause... anyways, you said you wanted to train, Niles?"
I need to update these things more often"Alright, then. See you soon, Finley. Should I bring back anything? Maybe food that isn't extremely spicy?"
Mila waves goodbye as she proceeds to the door. For a moment, her mind goes back to what Andy mentioned earlier. Was it really that obvious? Where was the line drawn between helping because she was a friend, and because she was... well. Mila honestly had no idea, but changing how she acted now would be too suspicious anyways.
I need to update these things more often"See you later, Finley. I head for the door, following Mila, before stopping in my tracks. I look over my shoulder, back at Finley, and say, "And when I do… I wanna know who you were, alright?" After I finish that sentence, I exit the room.

If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."Oh yeah. Could you get me a sandwich or something? Oran?" Finley thinks a bit... She's been pretty thankless, she thinks. She continues saying, "Thank you, Mila. So much."
Long live the New Bev.Jack attempts to retract his chest spike in similar way to how he uses his Metal Claw. He ends up making it flat. He turns to Finley.
Jack: So, get-well hug?
The League of HeroesMila looks back over her shoulder as she's leaving, touched by what Finley said. She takes a moment, not entirely sure how to respond.
"Don't worry, you've done the same for me."
Mila gives Finley a genuine smile before exiting her room and quickly trying to make her way past the inclement weather. It seems to be dying down, but the floors are a mess. Mila notices a dugtrio out of the corner of her eye who seems to be intent on cleaning up the area, despite the continued downpour.
Staff these days don't appreciate how much work it takes to clean this place...
I need to update these things more often"Sure. Get-well hug!" She stretches her arms out for Jack, ready for a big ol' huggin.
"C'mere!"
Long live the New Bev."Well, you'll have me asking questions pretty soon. Anyways, maybe going back to the edge of town would be a good idea. Personally, if I never have to go further into town than the boardwalk, I'll be happy."
Mila shudders as she thinks back to the fountain. It used to be a peaceful thought, but now all she could think about was the fight. She needed to get out of Silversand soon, with all these memories. It could hardly be good for any of them— especially Finley.
I need to update these things more often"Alright. Let's go." - We arrive at our destination. As preferred, there are little to no people around us. "Okay, Mila. Like I said, I promise I won't hit you. Now, bear with me here, but I need you to electrocute me."
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away."Err, how exactly do you mean? Because there's a difference between paralysis and actual damage-dealing levels of voltage, and I don't want to hurt you if I don't have to."
Mila flicks her tail back and forth, worried. Not only because she can clearly remember the last time someone asked to be attacked by someone else in the group, but also because she's still running low on charge from yesterday. She makes a mental note to try and figure out how to recharge faster, since feeling that drained from a single combat probably isn't healthy.

"Well..." She sniffs, recovering, and lets go of Niles.
"I'm so glad you told me." Finley looks at him with a big smile.
Long live the New Bev.
