*A small figure emerges from the mouth of one of the Gyarados, having climbed aboard unseen. The figure darts quickly to the nearest form of cover and hides.*

Andy looked to the gaggle of Gyrados, and spotted Lyra. "Hey, feel free to hit me up anytime."

"Cool!" She says, stepping out. "C'mon, Niles."

Did I see something just now?

She looks around.

No, I guess not...

"Look, you're the one picking me up! I ain't asking you to, either!"

Hey, who are you?!

((I see the figure zip off to one side of the room))

"Here we are, then..."

(Once the Gyarados are out of sight, I break character.)

Okay, guys, apparently, I'm someone named Belle who sings for Manaphy or something. I think the fact that I'm an important person around here should make it easy for us to get in to see Manaphy.

Time to play NPCs at the castle.

*there are high pitched voices talking in the distance, though one is less enthusiastic and speaks much like Raven from Teen Titans*

*as the party party closes in on the sound, they can first see an energetic young Popplio not enough blues in the world for this arc who is hanging around outside the castle. Seeing who he thinks is his mother, he bounds excitedly toward Goobert* Mommy!!! Where've you been? We were scared you wouldn't come back! Who are your friends?

*a withdrawn and somewhat introspective teenage Brionne ditto is bit less enthusiastic* Hey mom. *and just stays back and watches the scene, noticing pretty quickly that her "mother"'s mannerisms are quite a bit off, not to mention the large number of foreigners acting familiar with her* (Hmm...)

[I merely walk with the group out of one of the Gyarados' mouth...I think I catch something in my peripheral, but I turn and look...it's probably nothing.]

"So...what's the plan here," [I lean over and say to...kind of anyone who wants to offer an answer.] "What're we gonna..." [I look ahead to see...that seal Pokemon bounding towards...Goobert. I'm really gonna need an explanation for that...and then Finley wants to—oh, bother...]

*meanwhile, the Brionne whose name is Mauveine, simply nods to the more or less same-height Finley* Hey. *she says, eyeing the party with a mix of suspicion and curiousity, especially at Cyk's statement*

Whaaaat she meant was, I wasn't your mother for a bit. Had a tiff with a Zoroark who put me in an illusion where I was a Grumpig. A male Grumpig. A weird time, I tell you!
