On the topic of food. Eh, not necessarily hungry, but why not? It's perhaps the first moments, minutes, hours, in at least a few days to just breathe and compose myself, and to hopefully heal my leg back up even more. I look down there now, to see that the scarring itself is about nearly healed (thanks to the Heal Pulse) the deeper down damage is still evident with how much hobbling I do to get around. It's going away bit by bit, though. I sigh, and look back up at Marsha.
Yeah, let's find somewhere to eat, and afterward I wanna know what's going on with their funhouse, unless you're still kinda apprehensive from the last time we did that. Where do you wanna go for food?
Oh, that is no problem. If ya do wanna come back here we'll be glad to have you try out our food!
The whiff of something sweet catches Dennis off guard as well. Perhaps it's coming from a nearby merchant? Was it one of his business rivals? He's fairly certain that Sally didn't mean anything from their stand.
Kevin isn't exactly sure what to do first himself, so he starts to wander around the various stalls and things of the like, where perhaps another merchant could catch his eye. He would like to have Woodruff and co. accompany him, anyone in the party, actually, but given the one look he saw of them just a bit ago, it seemed they had other matters to attend to.
Tiff sighs as the rest of Blissparce reacts for the very first time to something she knew all along. She looks to her dad, wondering what to do now if things go downhill.

At the mention of "what happened in Becchel", Noriaki looks down.
"... All of that is very understandable", the Decidueye musters up to say, "I also understand your feelings both now and back then. While I have made efforts to try and improve the situation, I do see in hindsight how I may not have tried to understand others' viewpoints and situations as much as I should have. Allow me to apologize once more for taking your words in malice before, as I realize may have been what caused you to snap at me first as well."
Noriaki adjusted his feather fringe.
"I really do not mean to act as insensitive I may have come across, but I am held back by my own mind that has cursed me for my entire life. I mainly regret that you all have had to put up with that as well on consequence of being close to me."
Hikari sadly gazes at Noriaki, only letting out a quiet sigh.
PJ: "Is it alright if I'm here while you're going over this?"
*I make myself known to Koss, poking my head out from behind Mila and El.*
PJ: "I'm sorry if you'd rather me not listen, but I'm a little worried and they said I could..."
*Maaayyybe I'm more than a little worried, I'll admit, but... Eh, details, am I right?*

(Skeeball? Huh, never thought that would show up, but here it is. Not much of a fan of carnivals myself, but I can't be too ungrateful. This is for us. One of the stands caught my eye.)
(A Swalot with a boisterous voice, a shirt striped in red and white, and a small flat hat bellowed out to the crowd. Around him, there are signs that say "The Strongest Mon There Is!", "Borderline Legendary!", and "Introducing Big Bertha!" in bold, bright fonts. The biggest sign shows an image of a Bewear holding a Snorlax above her head.) In just an hour or so, you will bear witness to the mightiest Pokemon in the world! Her strength is unmatched, unparalleled, and unequal! Big Bertha will show you just how powerful she really is, so don't miss her!
Oh my! there is a festival here. A festival for us, the heroes. I can't say "nay" to this!
Since most of our crew seemed to be interested in the food, I guess I should try to see its main attractions...
I floated around the street, searching for something interesting...
What finally caught my interest was some purple Pokémon (a Swalot, perhaps?) hammily talking about the "mightiest Pokémon in the world!".
Big Bertha, huh? , I whispered to myself, looking at the signs.
Can't say I'm not thrilled to see the performance. I see that this is this Pokémon World's exquivalent of strongman performances. I think this might be worth it...
I see that Grigori has also considered giving this stand a shot. I approached the Decidueye.
Hey Grigs! , I gave Grigori a friendly grin, You're interested in this? , I asked him.
Dana follows a little more slowly, taking a look at all the attractions as she walks.
All the stands and attractions… if anything it kind of reminds me of the carnival… (What I'd do to go back to that day…) Shaking that out of my head, I try to think about a conversation topic. It'd be pretty awkward if we just didn't say anything at all. But in my search for something to discuss, my mind can't help but continuously look back at the last few days. Every mistake I made. Every word I said. Every person I hurt. Maybe I should just give up and shut u- (Wait a sec… that one memory right there! That's perfect!) "Hey, Dana?" I ask after building up enough nerve to talk normally. "What was that move you did with all the ice shards floating around you?" Hold up. "… Was it Ice Shard?"
What's that? Big Bertha?
Kevin lumbers his way on over to the stand where it seems Rainmaker and Grigori are congregating around. Sounds interesting, he figures. Almost like watching his dad's firemen buddies.
Hey, what's going on here?
(Oh, there's the bell.) Just curious, that's all. (Yeah, not like I'm gonna participate in the lifting myself. I'm not exactly gonna be bench pressing Golems anytime soon given how skinny I am. Still, I might watch if I'm bored. When the turtle chimed in, I responded.) Apparently, there's some sort of performer who lifts heavy stuff. Not exactly an achievement when there's an entire type dedicated to something related to physical fitness, but hey, I'm not trying to judge.
"Hm? Oh, yeah." Dana summons a few ice shards to demonstrate. "I tried messing with their shape a little to make the move more effective, but at the end of the day it didn't improve much..."
A fascinated smile forms on my face. "I still think it's really cool! It kinda reminds me of Noctis's Armiger from FFXV." I hope she knows what I'm talking about. "How'd you do it? I really wanna try it, too."
Dana only has like, half an idea what that means, but she doesn't say anything about it.
"I dunno, I just like.. Summon a bunch of pieces of ice I guess. It sorta feels like what I do for Icy Wind, but more controlled? Like I force power to build up inside myself and let it out, but instead of just blowing it all out at once I squeeze it into a shape. Or a bunch of shapes, in this case."
My smile fades as I… fail to grasp much of what she says. I understood 'controlled version of Icy Wind,' for what it's worth. However, I don't know any hot, windy moves. Are there anything like those? Questions for later. "Ah, I see what you're saying," I reply, not seeing what she's saying. "… Okay, no I don't," I admit. "But I can try to figure it out. Building up power, shaping it… I can start from there, right?"
"Yeah I uh.. I didn't expect you to be able to manipulate ice. But you should be able to do something with the basic principle right?" She shrugs.
"Energy manipulation? Yeah, I think I got it." I stretch before trying to relax my body. It's the same principle as making that energy blade with Brick Break, right? Just… on a smaller, yet more numerous scale. The red spots on my body all light aflame. "… Um… I dunno… how to 'separate' the fire from my body." Thinking on it now, my fire was always still connected to me somehow (like with Lava Plume) or just immediately spat out (like Ember). I've never… just severed the connection to me and tried sustaining the fire itself. "… Any… any ideas?"
Dunno! Let's see what's dair...
(Marsha scans the stands. She immediately spots the stand manned by the Emboar and Heatmor that Dinah and Sally seem to be in front of at the moment. What other stands are around here, though?)
"Uh... Maybe..." Dana puts a paw on her chin. "Oh, uh, maybe you can manipulate the fire with Extrasensory after you shoot it or something? I don't know if that would even work, though..."
"Extrasensory? … That gives me an idea." I let my fires die out and take a couple steps away from Dana to be safe. I take a deep breath and, with a huff, shoot five fireballs upwards. Two from my head spots, three from my tail end. I try to will them to stop and hover. (Now, hold!) Unfortunately, they simply fly away before eventually dissipating. I stare into the sky in slight embarrassment. "Crap. Lemme try again." Again, I create five fireballs. They aren't shot out as fast, so I can try to control them better. (Hold it…!) They even stop and stay in place for a bit! However, I watch as they fizzle away again. "… Hrm, that wasn't a bad start, though. Right?"
[Oh, PJ! Spooked me a little there.] “Yea, it, it shouldn’t be an issue, PJ.” [I look up between the two Raichu...it shouldn’t really matter who tells me, but Koss promised to talk about it yesterday in the manor.]
“Actually,” [I suggest before anyone talks,] “I think...I think we should try and find a place to sit...you, you can start talking, Koss, we’ll just...” [I don’t start off just yet, but I somewhat gesture towards a small table set up nearby the stands.]
Woodruff watches as Koss moves on to meet with Eliot...probably following up on yesterday’s talk with the usually-a-Smeargle, but he can’t help but notice the subtle shift in Eliot’s demeanor from the day before.
”Woodruff,” Pauline pipes up, giving the boy a little jolt, ”we should head in, too.”
”Fes-ti-VAL!” Lyman pumps his stubby little arms as he starts walking towards all the festivities with the others. ”We got some good quality family time ahead of us here!” With a little laugh, Woodruff follows his father, his mother following swiftly after.
And there it is. The axe has dropped, metaphorically speaking. Lenton feels a stir of excitement in him as the crowd broils in front of him, and things aren’t ever going to start calming down as people process this information and react invariably with a grieving rage.
One voice stands out in particular. An old Gligar raises a balled claw into the air. ”YOUR HENCHMEN! SHE THREATENED ME! SHE THREATENED MY CHILD!” He then rushes forward only to be rebuffed in his efforts by the crowd, though it’s only a matter of time before someone else tries the same thing.
And someone else does; a Gurdurr manages to push through and climbs up onto the stage, prompting a reaction from one of the officers. The mon quickly socks the Gurdurr in the jaw, knocking her out and sending her body tumbling back onto the crowd, who hold her up from falling. Not all the police are so unsympathetic as a Poochyena officer bristles with anger behind Amy. Hers is a very precarious position indeed.

Koss nods, and starts making his way over to the seating Eliot had pointed out. As they walk, he begins making his conjectures, though he paces himself and tries to stay off of the heavier subjects until the two uninformed humanmons have had a chance to sit down.
"Well, if ah got this right, you've been havin' trouble wit' blackin' out an' mood swings, if ya wanna call it that. Ah recall yesterday, when ah went ta check if'n ah could find anythin' in yer head that it seemed like ya might've had somethin' else there blockin' me out. Mila here helped me wit' the particulars of what ta call it, an' ah think ah agree wit' her that it's some sorta split personality."
Mila for her part remains quiet, and just nods along to what Koss is saying. She keeps watch on Eliot and PJ, though, trying to track their reactions and hoping this won't bring undue stress to either of them. Not that there's much hope there, but she reminds herself that it's better than leaving the issue untested.
"If it's true, ya'd be missin' the memories when whoever else is sharin' that head a yers is takin' control, an' they should be actin' pretty diff'rent too. Ta be sure, ah'd at least like ta observe ya fer a while ta see if anythin' swaps around."
Autumn listens to the Decidueye's reply and apology, and waits for him to finish before she places a paw on his shoulder and looks straight towards him.
"Thank you, Nori. And I know I haven't been the most honest over this time, but I intend to change that. I won't keep myself from being honest about who I am, maybe that could have stopped some of these issues before they started."
Surprisingly worn out from that comment alone, Autumn finds her gaze shifting as she tries to find Mila once more in the crowd. She can spot the Raichu talking with a couple others including Koss and Eliot, and it's only then that she realizes she doesn't know the full story of why Eliot had been acting strangely after the incident in the catacombs. Hopefully he'd be willing to discuss it later.
Pleased with Dinah's acceptance of her request (demand?), Sally makes no fuss for a while as she lets Dinah find whatever it was she had caught the scent of. A few stalls down, an Espeon is using her psychic powers to stir a large pot of liquid sugar and to coat a variety of berries in the concoction. There are a handful of mons in line, but nothing excessive should Dinah want to wait there.
"Uh, yeah, I think so. I'm glad my advice made sense, anyway.."
"Yeah. I'll probably figure it out before the day ends, heh! Thanks, Dana." I give the white fox a toothy, probably goofy looking smile. I puff out some fireballs and manage to keep them floating in place, though, again, they fade away. Considering that all I've done before hand is spit/puke fire on people, this seems a lot better looking. "It's really cool how you figured this out on your own…"
Noriaki pulled the rim of his hat over his eyes, grinning lightly.
"Well, the fact that you are going to make the effort to try and improve now is what should matter most, is it not?", he said, "What is done is in the past and is the foundation that upholds the present, so the best we can do is improve for the future. Or something to that effect."
Hikari, clinging to Noriaki's other wing, spoke up, "My apologies for not thinking to find the time for proper introductions... And for listening in just now... B-But I do think you seem like a caring person, both now and from what he has told me previously... A-All I am saying is that I agree with Noriaki that your desire to be more honest now is what should matter."
"And I am grateful that somebody like you was keeping him company."
Brushing off himself, Noriaki suggested, "Perhaps we will head to those stands with assorted sweets before seeing whatever it is Grigori just went to see. I know not if you have other business, Autumn, but you are free to join, of course."

Heck with it, let's go dair and get some cream puffs! (Marsha says, shrugging and pointing at a small cake stand run by a Slurpuff and a Shiny Whimsicott. The sign in front of it is advertising cotton candy.)
(Of course it was the sweet stand with the longest line. Oh well, hopefully it'll be worth the wait. It certainly smells good. I get in line, seriously considering getting a candied Berry myself.)
(Yep, down goes my head. I yank my antennae down over my ears and clench my eyes shut tight.)
Whoa, what are yo—hey! HEY!! (Mia is among the those who caught the Gurdurr after she was decked off the stage. Mia feels she can't blame her for doing that, especially since Mia feels like she herself would have done the same thing had she not been reminding herself to keep it together herself these past couple of days, but still.... Mr. and Mrs. Dos Santos, meanwhile, have got their hands full as well, being among the mons trying to stop David and a few other enraged mons from rushing the stage.)
Everyone please calm down! I have more to say! (Amy shouts as the crowd gets increasingly riled up and angry. Taylor R puts a mitt on his Poochyena companion's side in an effort to calm them down and looks on at the situation in worry. Hopefully he doesn't have to use Spore like Lenton did earlier himself.)
I had no control over what Ramona did to you and your daughter. I'm sorry she caused a lot of trouble for you. (Amy tells Mr. Olivera. She inwardly curses at herself for allowing her old Gliscor friend to get revenge on Harvey. The sap didn't even seem like he had the Viral Aggression.)
Miss Dala, merely apologizing to him isn't good enough! (Yolanda calls from the crowd, plenty angry but not rushing the stage like some of the other crowd members.) David was fearing for both his and his daughter's lives and everyone else has been stuck wondering who is going to end up murdered next! You've left this entire town gripped with fear!
And you don't think I realize that now? (Amy says, trying to keep her voice heard over the crowd.) I wanted to believe that keeping the presence of the Viral Aggression hidden from you all would prevent you from falling into a panic, but I couldn't have been more wrong!
(As the chaos goes on around her, Izabel remains where she was, her normally always shut eyes...er, eye now wide open and darting around in worry. The current situation is giving her very bad vibes...nice that she retained her strong senses after becoming a Trevenant, but she wishes that she discovered this at any other time besides this.)
Huh, alright then.
I make my way on over to this stand that Marsha had pointed out amongst the others. Cream Puffs? They look more like Cake Puffs. Sure haven't seem thosein a while. I finish leading us to this stand and look to see what's up.
Well, I mean...I'm big and all but I certainly don't think I can do whatever they claim this Bertha can do. We gonna stay here and watch this?
Kevin repeats his prior motions of looking to see where Woodruff and his family could be.
Oh, damn...here we go...
Tiff stays in place for now, noting how her sister is increasingly worried. She contemplates getting over to her sister's aid.
