"It's alright, Eliot, I swear... I saw nothing, I guess."
Mila is happy that the mood seems to be lightening, if only gradually, but even with that she feels so unbearably tired. Maybe it would be good for her to just take a nap, if it weren't for the fact that it'd mean someone would have to carry her. Then again, unless she can get her body under control, that was going to be necessary anyways.
"Hey, Eliot, I don't want to force you to carry me, so if I fall asleep could you find someon—"
".... Mila? Mila? Mila!"
The Raichu has just enough time to process where her name was being called from and to shift her weight to look over in that direction before a familiar Braixen crouches down and grabs her in an embrace. Autumn tries to pick her up in a hug for a moment, but after feeling how limp Mila is, she relents and lies her back on the ground to instead hold on to her there, shocked into silence for a moment as she tries to understand what happened to the Raichu.
"Eliot, she's... why isn't she moving?"
"I can still speak, Autumn, but I don't know either."
"Please be okay, Mila, please please please..."
Autumn's grip doesn't loosen, holding tight onto Mila's shoulders and doing her best to bring the Raichu close to her. Any pretense of composure is gone now, and she's completely forgotten about the mass of mons around her that may well recognize her.
Well, let's see... Musta been 'round eight years ago now ah left home, but what's worth savin' from that? The guild ain't somethin' ah wanna take wit' me all the time, but it was so much a' what ah did back then. Ah guess ah did get practical experience wit' berries then...
Lost in thought, it takes Koss a moment to realize that Marlon is awake again over the bustle around them, and another moment more to figure out what he asked (with a small psychic check to ensure accuracy). Before he responds, Koss pushes himself back into a sitting position from where he'd lain out on the ground, massaging his back in the process.
"Ah... well, ah didn't want ta move ya while ya were asleep, wit' yer leg. An' right now, ah don't have much help ta carry ya wit'. Ah'll try ta find a mon big enough ta carry ya back down, if'n that's alright."
"But— but you said we'd find my mom! You lied to me!"
Sally shoots her gaze to Dinah's side and examines the trickle of mons leaving, perhaps considering for a moment just running off, but as tears well up in her eyes she soon finds herself unable to move as she starts to cry. She's still upset by all this, but more than that the fear of the situation seems to have finally gotten to her, as she shakes in her shell with her eyes downcast.
Yeah, sure. Whomever you find, tell them to carry me carefully. Or just find Marsha. One of the two.
I take a deep breath as I become reacclimated to my surroundings. Throne Room, the bitch is dead, got it. But yet more importantly, my leg. I'm still in shock that I got injured this badly. Now, I'm not trying to imply that I thought I was Superman, but I still feel humbled. Humbled because of the ever grim reminder that sometimes things of this nature are just out of my control. I sigh, and pull myself up into more of a sitting position as I await some form of rescue.
(Marsha hasn't really had much to say as she watches Dana and Nyquil interact.)
Well, you can now look forward to when you will him again, right? (Gene says to Theodore.)
(It's at this point that Cole notices both Zelgius and Yukari coming into view.)
Zelgius! And...the Shinrin princess...? (Cole says. He's a bit confused to see the Shinrin princess as well, but he digresses and heads over to meet Zelgius.) My old friend, it's been ages, how did you end up here? And what's the Shinrin princess doing here?
I guess we'll head on out and see if everyone else is done, eh? (Dodie asks.)
Yeah, I want to hurry up and get home to Mamá... (Anthony says, whirling back around onto Dodie's back.)
(Dodie begins to turn to leave, but notices Eliot, Autumn, Mila, Marlon, and Koss nearby and pauses.)
(It didn't work...and now Sally is angry with me...I don't feel confident in continuing to try to reassure her that her mother is still in there somewhere because I'm not even sure she's there or anywhere around this manor at this point...if she's actually still alive, of course.)
(Even though I survived this entire ordeal and and helped save everyone I and everyone else knows in doing so, I still can't help but feel as though I still failed in a sense because I could not find this young Clamperl's mother. I sigh bitterly as I gently heft the crying Sally up and begin moving toward the exit of the manor.)
I'm so sorry we couldn't find your mother here, Sally... (I quietly tell her.) We'll still find her, though. I promise...even if it isn't here that we do...
(I looked at Nori and his friends and responded. As much as I want to stick around, we've got places to be.) I'll let you catch up. I'll be going back now.
(Arsene and Eliza soon make their leave, not willing to spend any more time on mourning.)
(Speaking of lost mons, the Electivire emerged from the shadows.) Uh, hi guys. Sorry about the whole joining-an-evil-Vespiquen thing. So uh, yeah. I guess I'll be going back home.
(Zelda looked at the suddenly bashful fighter and tilted her head.) At least we've found who we're looking for.
I notice Dodie with one of the younger mons that were freed stop and look over toward us (of course, I quickly remember that Eliot, Mila, and now Autumn are still up here with us). Hoping to make Koss's job easier I call over to the Venusaur.
Hey, wait...got any room for more passengers? We're gonna need it.
Edited by Team42Larson on Mar 10th 2019 at 5:43:53 AM
"Ah, hey again, Cole", said Zelgius with a nod, "... War. War is the reason I ended up here. As for this lady, well... That Vespiquen could reach her arms out anywhere and to anyone, it looks like."
"I am a princess of Shinrin, in concept, at least", Yukari sighed out, "Really, you probably know my little sister, Sakura, better as the 'Shrinrin Princess'. I'm just Yukari, the other daughter."
Yukari looked rather solemn. She cast somewhat of a gaze over to where L'Arachel was buried.
"I was just one of many for her, huh..."
Noriaki took a moment to bow back at the tombstone once more before turning back.
"Grigori is right, perhaps we should begin heading back, once we are all gathered once again, at least", the Decidueye said.
"... Well, when that moment does come, I am afraid we cannot join you all", said Montresor.
"So many Pokemon are here, away from home, on account of L'Arachel's actions decreed and assisted by us", Notte explained, "We cannot simply go and carry on as if we are free of sin. Montresor and I will stay and try to aid these lost souls back to whence they came. It is what we must do after all we have done. Then and only then will we feel worthy of you and everyone else's forgiveness."
"... Well, I cannot disagree with that."

"Gaah!" [Autumn's sudden appearance in front of spooks me half to hell...but it's good to see her again, and to see the two of them together. I shift myself a little and put a hand on Autumn's shoulder.]
"We did get someone to try and heal her, but...she's...well, still like this." [There's got to be something we could do, someone who could...is that Koss over there?] "...y'think...think Koss would have something to say about this?"
"...is no one listening?! Can I at least have those who came from Foxfell...oh, Arceus." [A familiar voice. The Ralts from earlier.] Watching Autumn and Mila, they cover their mouth in shock. As much as they want to express their joy in seeing the princess again, and as much as they want to get at the nature of her relationship with this Raichu, they would rather not ruin this moment for her, for either of them.
Along with the multitude of mons having followed behind Noriaki, and somewhat mindlessly considering most were just trying to get out of there, Woodruff manages to make his way back into the foyer. Looking behind him, he sees his parents are not long into the foyer as well. He silently beckons them to some obscure corner of the foyer guarded off by some rubble, and finally, the three settle down. Pauline and Lyman look between one another, anxious as to what their son has to tell them.
"...maybe should've waited." "Son, it's okay...take your time if you need to." Woodruff can't even bring himself to make eye contact with his parents. What would they even say once they found out...
Pauline grabs her husband's hand. "Just know...more than anything, we're...so happy to see you again." Lyman nods, leaning his head against her. "And I think that outweighs anything you'd have to say to us..."
Woodruff looks into his mother's eyes. There's a caring conviction behind her words, behind those eyes. Still, he has to brace himself for impact, taking a long, deep breath before he can finally bring himself to say it.
"I burned the house down."
"...you what?" "...you what?"
"...And I shall tell a tale of song and bliss and blunder-of/Times of sundry mornings stitching through the twenty seas/Though ground collapse below us and the sails be torn asunder/All before I ferr' this precious pearl to—"
Hang on a second—the Skorupi stops in his tracks—and the Nidoqueen behind him gets stopped as well, bumping into him. "Waah!" Pushed forward a couple paces, the Skorupi swivels around and yells at the Nidoqueen, "Watch it! Go trample someone else, will ya?!"
The Nidoqueen scoffs before contorting her face in anger, clearly not in the mood. "I'm trying to get home...the least you could do is not hold me up!" The Nidoqueen stomps past, earning her a glare from the Skorupi before he returns his focus to what made him stop in the first plac—"WAAH!"
Again?! "I SAID WATCH IT!" "Uwaaah! Sorry!" The Politoed who'd ran into him skirts off in a hurry. Letting out a frustrated sigh, the Skorupi moves out of the way of those leaving before focusing his attention on those gathered around...a grave? In particular, he thinks he sees a particular mon.
He scurries up to the group, noting the others huddled a little ways out around them watching the proceedings—some curious, some bewildered, some scornful, some grateful. Snaking between this contingent of onlookers, he finally manages to make it to Yukari. "Hey, princess!"
Taylor A picks herself up and dusts herself off before calling out in response, "IT'S THE POLICE! AND THE DOS SANTOS! AND A BUNCH OF OTHER RANDOM PEOPLE! THE POINT IS YOU'RE FUCKED, BUDDY!" Taylor A rushes further inside while Taylor B opens up the door for the rest of the crew to follow, playing the utmost important role of lookout-for-any-potential-accomplices-seeking-to-ambush-them-and-also-last-person-inside-the-killer's-house.

Huh? (Dodie looks over to Marlon then at her back.) Anthony here ain't that big, so there's probably room for ya up here.
Oh, okay! (Anthony shifts over a bit to make room for Marlon.)
(Dodie lumbers over to Marlon.)
Oh, I see... (Cole says. Poor Zelgius, who knows what happened to him that he ended up here? Or Yukari, for that matter.) Well, now that both of you are away from her, we can take you...um...somewhere.
I offered Zelgius to join us as we tried to find another place for ourselves, I should point out. (Gene tells Cole.)
Oh! (Cole says, turning back to Zelgius and putting a hoof on his shoulder.) Hey, we'd be glad to have you join us, Zelgius! We can get caught up with each other and all that as we look for a new place to call home.
(Cole looks over at Yukari.) What about Yukari? (He asks.)
(Fortunately, it seems that Cole's question is answered right then and there when a Pokémon, a Skorupi, calling Yukari by name suddenly rushes out toward her.)
So much for a quiet interrogation, huh? (I remark as I nervously dash inside along with everyone else.)
(Rich takes care to make sure his gloves stay on as we scramble inside, with Mia taking Izabel by the hand...er, limb, and leading her in as well.)
Are you sure this is the best idea? (I hear her protesting.)
You have to tell us for sure if it was this guy, Izzy! (Mia says.)
(Norwood's heart sinks and begins to race once he realizes that the police are here. They found out what he did, and brought the family of the Alakazam he....he murdered with them. Breathing quickly, he jumps out of his bathtub, struggles to put on his bathrobe, and leaves the bathroom.)
(A moment later, a Bisharp who I can only assume must be Norwood emerges from a nearby hall. Juding by his bathrobe and how soaking wet he looks, it looks like we just interrupted his bath or shower or whatever. He's...not acting like how I expected him to act, namely like Ramona. He looks...very scared and very guilty.)
(Izabel gasps.) Sim! It WAS him! I know for sure now! (She whispers.)
He sure is comin' a lot more quietly than I thought... (I hear Rich mutter.)
(Norwood comes to a stop in front of us and looks at all of us. I notice that he seems to get really nervous upon seeing Izabel. He doesn't know that this is Izabel, does he?) H-H-How did you find out...? (He squeaks.)

"... I'll think about it." Dana offers a half-hearted smile.
Well, with L'Arachel's death, all of those annoying Combees returned to their original form. And now everyone is meeting up with them. I could have too, but eh, I will do that later, if there's still some time to do that...
I went towards the tower.
Heheheh...let's see if those guards from before are still here... , I muttered to myself as I landed somewhere next to it.
"Well, he helped before..."
Mila does her best to comment to Eliot while returning Autumn's embrace, forcing her paws up a few inches to put them on the Braixen's side. Between that and Eliot's hand, Autumn's back tenses up for an instant before relaxing back down, barely visible in the shifting of her fur.
"I just— don't— I can't do this, Mila. I can't handle this fear. I don't want to keep being afraid of whether or not you'll make it out okay."
"I... you're right. I thought you'd be able to trust me, but... I haven't done much to give you a reason for that, huh?"
Autumn releases her grasp on Mila with her right paw, bringing it up to the Raichu's face and turning it so that the two are looking directly into each other. She can't tell whether her eyes are watering up or her partner's is, but their emotions are clear either way.
"Can you— will you at least— not at least, but will you promise me not to fight like this?"
Koss works himself up to his feet as Marlon indicates for him to find some sort of passage back downstairs, rubbing his back to clear it of any cricks as he does so and pausing for the blood to return to his head and for his vision to clear. By the time he's prepared to set out searching, however, he notices the Venusaur approaching them and waits for the gap to be closed before he starts moving once more.
"He's hurt, so ah'll try ta help wit' gettin' him up on there psychically. Ah hope ya can manage the rest solo, but ah s'pose ah can wait ta be alone wit' my thoughts fer later."
"... No! Why are you— I wanna go. I don't..."
Sally puts up a token effort as Dinah lifts her up once more, but it's nowhere near enough to get her out of the Krokorok's grip and even then would only give her a hard landing on the floor below. More than anything, her voice is hoarse and trailing; the Clamperl is tired out from all the day's events. Tired, and probably hungry, if she's been hiding behind that column all day until they arrived.
"... I can't. Autumn, I want to, but I can't."
Finally, Mila breaks the silence and the gaze between her and Autumn, feeling a pit in her stomach despite the warmth of the embrace she's currently trapped in. That empty chill spreads out from her core, and only grows with the words that follow from the Braixen's lips.
"Why? I don't— I don't understand you, Mila. You weren't like this."
"Autumn, it's. I need time to explain."
"Then explain. Don't leave me like this."
"Soon, we're still surrounded by people we don't know, and then there's Eliot, and—"
"I can't do soon, Mila. Not any more."
Well roll out the red carpet. At least I have a way to move forward from here and get back to Marsha and everyone else. I pull my hand out and motion for Dodie to draw a bit closer.
If it's easier for you, just pull me up with your vines while Koss gives the assist. I don't think I can easily climb on with my leg in this condition.
I ready myself to get lifted up.
Kevin's jaw nearly drops. When was this? Why didn't dad know about it? He could've easily put out the fire. But the most important question is...
How did it happen and why?
Tiff withdraws the small needle she keeps within her hand and stares down Norwood.
You messed with the wrong family, ese! Now are you gonna come quietly or are we gonna have problems?
Edited by Team42Larson on Mar 11th 2019 at 10:10:02 AM
(As the three of us reached the entrance, the old kelp spoke up.) Is everybody here?
I think there's some still inside.
(Not much to do but wait for them. Let's hope they're okay.)
Alright... (Dodie wraps her vines around Marlon and prepares to help Marlon up, looking to Koss briefly before doing so to make sure he's ready.)
(I don't say anything else as I leave the manor with Sally. She sounds so tired and hungry...how long has she been here, anyway?)
(I find the others who have left the manor already outside having buried L'Arachel, along with someone else. Oh, wonderful, as if we didn't have enough deaths here. I sigh. I just want to be out of here already...)
(Seeing numerous Pokémon heading past them, Marsha looks to Nyquil and the girls.) Well, now it looks like everyone's leavin'. You fellas ready?
Edited by kablammin45 on Mar 11th 2019 at 10:53:26 AM
Near the tower where the guards were restrained, they do not seem to be there any more.
"If you are looking for those guards you outsmarted earlier, I released them and sent them back home."
Within that same area, there is a bespectacled Delphox looking in to some sort of tome, leaning against the wall. He has on a similar cloak with the same flame-shaped emblem brooch holding it shut as the guards. The shine from his glasses make his eyes difficult to see right now.
"I would really love that... But for now I think I have a bit of a responsibility to take Yukari here back to her family. I don't really remember what side I was even fighting for, but I doubt anyone at Shinrin would remember my face even if I was against them", Zelgius explained before looking to the Skorupi as well.
"... Yasuhiro?", Yukari said as she gazed at the Skorupi, shocked, "What are you doing here?"
Gerome had moved a bit forth as a group of other Pokemon in law enforcement uniform approached the manor's front.
"Just in time", the Nidoking chuckled before pointing to the emptying manor, "The Noctowl and Bisharp are taking responsibility to organize and return everyone home. Assist in that, start by combing the manor for anyone that may still be dazed and recovering, anyone restrained by chains and the like were accomplices to the Vespiquen and are to be taken back and jailed."
They all did a sort of bow/salute/whatever they were capable of doing and moved in.
Marsha briefly butts into our conversation to let us know that everyone's getting ready to go. "Oh, okay." I stand back up and get ready to move, but my legs buckle a little. "…!" I manage to catch myself from falling. "… Sorry, I'm still… I'm probably gonna have to take it slow for now," I inform both Marsha and Dana.
Ah, so this dude (who's probably their boss or something) sent them back to their home city...Kreimhild, was it?
Also they mentioned a tactician called Michalis...
Is it possible that this folk here is the tactician they mentioned? It could be possible, judging by those nerdy glasses...
Bah, why am I asking myself these questions? We're about to leave this blasted manor and its owner, so that they may rest in peace...
Oh...thanks for the information, I guess... , I said to the Delphox I made a quick bow and went to the foyer using the same path that we used earlier.

Tiago replies curtly. "Nós descobrimos de uma testemunha ocular."* We discovered it from an eyewitness.
Dana quietly walks over and supports Nyquil and starts exiting the building.
"Arright, ya just keep yerself relaxed, okay?"
After providing those directions to Marlon, Koss nods to Dodie and begins his work of stabilizing the injured leg. His psychic control is less even after the day's events, but it's enough to keep any sudden movements or jolts from making the injury worse than it already is. Once Marlon is on top of the Venusaur, Koss starts thinking of how he'll have to treat the wound later. That Aromatisse's magic will help, of course, but it likely won't be enough by itself. Uryu had a strange way of handling things that seemed to work out, but Koss doubted that he'd be found anywhere near here.
"...I, uhh..." [I definitely do not feel awkward just sitting here as they argue...'and then there's Eliot'...guess this really must be a private matter, but...] "...I, I'll...I'll go get Koss." [Standing up and yanking away the cloak, I wrap the thing around my arm and sling the rest of it over my shoulder before I start off for Koss. The jangle of...knives, I think?, is incessant...]
[...it still feels pretty weird wearing her cloak, even if it's as a cast for my arm. It's a nice cloak, despite...what, her blood, my blood, maybe some of the other's blood...a whole blood-pourri, but...I just hope this isn't me going through a repeat of me directing my sympathies towards the wrong person, clinging onto something of theirs for whatever reason...though...I will be honest, her cloak's a little bit better than her form...god...]
[I'm nearing Koss.] "Hey, uhh, Koss..." [I see one of the bouncers is helping Koss tend to Marlon...though I have to wonder why he was brought up here in the first place.] "...when...when you're done, Mila's...kinda...not moving. I, I mean, she's alive, she's breathing, talking even, it's just..." [I cross my arms at my waist, a little worried I didn't get the message across.] "...well, I was...thinking maybe you'd understand why..." [As I wait for an answer, I overlook him as he helps out Marlon, which is not helping this light sick feeling I'm getting.]
"AAH! KEVIN, Arceus..." Woodruff shakes his head, having not expected Kevin to follow, and a little pale-faced over the fact he intruded on what was supposed to be a private conversation. Pauline and Lyman meanwhile expectantly wait for an answer, somewhat relieved that Kevin stepped in to ask the question on the tips of their tongues.
"It was an accident...I was tryin' to get the lights goin' 'n...one of the tubes burst, it got fire everywhere..." Lyman shrinks a little upon hearing this, drooping his ears. Pauline gives her husband an angered look before returning her attention to her son. "...there wasn't much let by the time Mr. Thomas got there...he offered me a place to sleep for the night, but I spent a few hours goin' through everything, seein' what I could salvage."
Woodruff shifts the bag he's got slung around him. "This is it. This and the goggles."
Pauline stares out with a furrowed brow, breathing a heavy, frustrated sigh. "...maybe I shouldn'a gotten those lights, eheh..." As much as he can laugh it off, Lyman faint smile gives way to a showing of deep regret for his inadvertent involvement in his home's destruction. And he thought he was prettying the place up with those lights...sure, they came with a warning about putting them up in wooden homes, but maybe seeing the place lit up like a festival, having the sorts of lights they used to make Crystal City look as wonderful as it did on his trip there, maybe that would've...excited Pauline a little after her work. Eased the stress a little. And yet she ran off anyway...shows how well those fucking lights worked.
Approaching Woodruff, he takes the bag from off his boy's shoulder and opens it up, staring into it. Old towels, some cutlery, some Poke... "...I'm sorry...the both of you..."
"...o-obviously here looking for you, princess!" Yasuhiro was actually on vacation, having been pardoned from his duties for a time by the powers that be after Yukari was gone from the castle for a spell, but...damn, she was really missing, wasn't she. Kinda lucky she ended up here on Harnicara as well...
"...you didn't get turned as well, did you?" Yasuhiro himself got turned after...quite the bender. Who knew the local liquors could make one so...suggestive? Though...his memory's a little fuzzy, but he recalls...seeing her at some point? Maybe he's just imagining things...
Taylor A points to Izabel. "She told us. Kinda crazy, right, her helping solve her own murder?" She approaches him, Vine Whips extending out her back as she puts her hands up all docile like. Mr. Oliveira taught her it helps with keeping crooks docile...and it's easier to punch someone when you got your hands up, too!
Taylor B closes the door and files in behind the others, pulling out the chain from his sash. Amaranth's efforts to restrain the suspect should be enough...right?
"Now just hold still, okay?" Taylor A begins wrapping her vines around the Bisharp's body, being careful to not get too close to the blades adorning this mon. Worried about her pace, Taylor B clutches his chain tighter, at once ready to spring into action and ready to run away if the suspect manages to get the jump on them.
(With the assistance from Koss, Dodie carefully loads Marlon up onto her back. Anthony sees Marlon's leg and grimaces.)
We ready to go then? (Dodie asks.) We're gonna get lost in this crowd at this rate!
Eh, no biggie. Take your time. (Marsha says, leading the way out of the manor.)
Fair enough... (Cole says to Zelgius.) Take care going back there, Zelgius. And hey, you're always welcome to join us again any time! Keep in touch, all right?
(A Kabutops cop restrains the beaten Bombax with a small chain (both his arms and his wings) and prepares to take him away.)
(I simply sit down near everyone else and wait for the rest of the others to come out of the manor to join us, setting Sally down beside myself. Thinking again about how exhausted and hungry she sounds, I try to flag someone down for help.)
Excuse me, but does anyone have any Berries or anything? (I call out to anyone who can listen.)
(Norwood sure doesn't seem to be resisting Taylor A's vines all that much or try to run away. Does he want us to arrest him?)
Solving...her own...murder?? (Norwood repeats (the last word coming out in a squeak) as he looks toward Izabel again.)
(Norwood screams internally as he realizes the constant nightmares he has been having since he murdered Izabel have seemingly become real. Here she is before him, ready to do who knows what to him, no doubt. " NONONONOHNOOHNONONONO—")
A-A-AA-AAAAAAAHH—-!! (All of a sudden, Norwood screams in terror (so loudly that I cover my ears with my antennae) and drops to the ground like a sack of potatoes.)
Uh... (I awkwardly look around at the others.) I think he fainted.
I don't think we should have told him who I was... (Izabel says.)
Well, I'd probably woulda fainted too if I were him. (Rich remarks.)
At least that makes our job easier, I guess. (Mia says. She looks at Norwood and grunts disdainfully.) Should we try waking him up now or at the police station?
I do as Koss asks and I am lifted on to Dodie's back and placed alongside the kid. Once securely on I look ahead and breathe a sigh of relief knowing that I'm finally on my way out of this mess.
Yeah, let's move. Just get me back to Marsha...and a bed.
I try to settle in before we move. I look over toward the kid that's also being carried along. I reason it's best to make small talk with him as I lay my arms flat across my waist.
So kid, where do you come from?
Kevin stops once he truly recognizes the magnitude of this family moment, to which he drops down to the Teddiursa's level and asides to him.
You wanna just head outside now, kid?
To which he then looks back up at the Clan.
Listen uh...I'm sorry I stuck my nose onto something I probably shouldn't have...uhm...
He starts to turn.
We don't wanna kill the poor guy by giving him a heart attack right here...let's just pull him back to the station.
Edited by Team42Larson on Mar 14th 2019 at 6:06:47 AM
Michalis simply laughs to himself as Rainmaker leaves, warping out of view.
Bombax is restrained and not quite able to put any sort of resistance up.
"Bastards...! I'll kill you all...!"
Montresor sighed, "He was a unique case. L'Arachel had found use for some of those within the swarm to revert, but with that boy specifically, she gave him the strengthened form of a Beedrill. He does not seem to have changed back, but..."
"Given the nature of his mind and the unique hex on him, it does not seem that he wishes to return. He truly is a shell of who he once was", Notte finished, "Poor boy. Rejected by his family and hometown, he simply kept moving forward, regardless of what direction he was tipped towards. A hollow existence..."
Noriaki looked down.
"I am not experienced with purging hexes of such a caliber, but regardless, he seems in a violent state..."
"... Uh huh", Yukari said at the Skorupi's explanation, "... I was indeed 'turned' for a time. Somebody to just rest my head on and allow to take control... Quite the tempting offer, given my life. But then I was brought back, and this woman... It seemed that she appreciated me as myself for what I was unique in. But I can tell..."
The Lurantis looked over to L'Arachel's former vassals.
"... Just like before, it looks like I wasn't unique at all. Honestly, part of me knew, but... Bah, whatever, time to go back to that family of mine, I know."
"Yeah, we'll see each other again, don't worry", Zelgius said to Cole with a grin.
My cheeks burn a little as Dana comes over to keep me from falling. I sure hope she doesn't look at my face… "O-Oh… Th-Thanks…" There's a feeling in my stomach… can't really tell if it's 'knots' or 'butterflies,' though. (Sh-She's just doing what any decent person would do, you sociopath. She probably doesn't think anything of it!) Well, either way, it does help us get out of here faster.
