ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

"...?" Whitney was trapped in her own little world for the large majority of time there, and only snaps out of it when she sees Autumn trotting off.

Quickly, she gets up from the table and follows.

"Hey, what's going on? We doing something cool?"

Becchel, The Patink-Inn

"Oh, it's no problem, Tom—Timmy!" Whoops...Pierre rubs his neck, a little embarrassed by his mistake. Now that the path is cleared, Marie walks over towards the Casside with her tea cart, sitting down beside the Fraxure and pouring her some tea as she greets Marie and they begin some light conversation. The Neyad grumbles and continues to follow the vassals, still holding their things. If they won't take them, she'll happily keep them...this Iron Ball thing's pretty nifty...

I answer Dinah, "They'll probably want me to stay..." I let out a low, dissatisfied growl as I hear pitter-pattering feet coming down the steps...

Woodruff descends the steps with Koss, also looking around for Eliot. At first, he can't spot him, until...oh, okay, he's a Salazzle again.

"Ah, hey, Mila," he blurts out as Mila enthusiastically greets them, which catches him a little off guard. "'n yea, breakfast would be good! I'm starvin'!"

I let out a low hiss of breath upon seeing Koss, not even walking over towards him. I sort of resign myself to the fact that we're going to waste more time just trying to figure out this memory thing when this pit in my stomach is a much bigger priority to me.

...the Glameow from yesterday is staring at me. I look down at him, his curious stare pushing my further into a state of restless limbo. "...your eyes are weird, too..." ...what? "...wait, you're not a thief. You're a Ditto!" "A what?" The Mawile at the front desk starts to look a little uncomfortable. I share his sentiments

"...ah, Koss. That's Eliot." Woodruff points to the Salazzle currently looking not very well, with a simultaneous look of nagging impatience and "please someone help me". "If ya don't mind, I'm gonna head on out with the others. There wasn't any food here for the night...'n I'm hungry." He sags himself and droops his tongue out.

Blissparce, The Police Station

Taylor A takes a sip of tea, still taking in the fact that she's talking with a real life dead person! ...a real life formerly dead person. Talking with normal dead people would just mean she'd be weird.

...hey, wait, she's got an idea. "Well, if you remember faces but not names...what if you drew those faces?" She puts down her tea and runs over towards the office, heading inside and going through box after box for any sort of forms she could give to the Trevanent to draw on. "We got lots of paper...and crayons! We have kids in here sometimes, it helps with the crying." She comes back with some forms and a small tin of crayons, taking her former spot before sliding the crayons and paper over towards their ghosty friend.

Becchel, now onto streets

Before stepping outside, Kevin looks over toward Whitney.

Well, first we're gonna eat, and then we go find L'Arachel and her cronies.

He then continues to follow out.

Outside, the mons will notice the younger Fraxure twin waiting for them, pointing two of his claws in a westerly direction.

The Food Stand is two blocks to the west here. Once there, I'll open the gate and help you all get through.

Kevin and I both file outside, not much else to say. Though I suppose Marlon and maybe kevin would both be open to interaction.

Becchel

We should probably get going, too. (I say.) Eliot really needs something to eat.

(I begin trying to inch toward the door, hoping the others will follow.)

Oy...more walkin'... (Dodie sighs.) Well, guess we'll work up a good appetite.

(Marsha looks back into the inn.) I'nt da Bookworm and Sparky 'n Woody still in dair? (She asks out loud.)

Blissparce (Police Station)

   All right...    (The Trevenant says, taking the crayons and beginning to draw. Her hands are still rather shaky as she draws.)

(When she is done, she places the paper back down. A few faces seem to be scribbled out, presumably because of mistakes, but there are several drawn. They look rather sloppy, but they are still recognizable as a Hariyama, an Alakazam, a Machamp, a Conkledurr in a hat, a Cacturne, and a Lurantis.)

(Rutgers takes a close look at the drawn faces. He turns to look at Taylor A, and then back at the drawings.)

Don't those faces resemble the...uh...the...uh... (Rutgers says before trailing off, looking up at the Trevenant, and his eyes going wide.) Oh...my...

   What is it? Did I do something wrong?    (The Trevenant asks.)

Becchel

(As soon I got out of the building, I made my way to where the Fraxure pointed to. When he and Eliza went out as well, Arsene pointed out to the group.) Just so you know, we've got some T Ms back at Narcia. After we're done eating, we'll use those as soon as we can. (I thought about the TM about Swords Dance I peeked at earlier and remembered the picture with the Honedge. Claude and Zelda soon followed suit.)

Aah, it feels so great to move again after lot of hours...

I got out of the inn and followed the direction of the Fraxure twin.

   Ah yes, T Ms! I really need those...my moves are kinda shitty, y'know, hahahaha...   , I said when the topic of T Ms was brought up.

After seeing everyone leave the inn, I rejoined the group.

Becchel

Oh, miss? That won't be too much of a problem, I can run back up and help whoever is still there get to our stand. Tommy and Dad have the cooking. Anyway...

Timmy dashes ahead of the group and dives into a small opening between two buildings. The party can note some slashing, and then the sound of wood creaking; Timmy has opened the gate. The smell of food being cooked can be made more evident to all by this point; even those still inside.

This would be because at the stand itself, Tom and Tommy are currently making more pancakes.

Oh man...I don't even remember the last time I smelled food as good as this...

Kevin and I move forward; Timmy darts back uphill to wait for more of those still inside to come out.

Even more still, the fourth member of the family, Tom's wife, stands guard near the gate to freely open and close now that the day has begun.

[Becchel]

Noriaki, Nephenee, Gerome, the Holstown Guardians, and the vassals have been keeping up with the group moving to the breakfast stand.

"I certainly do hope that their pancakes do not disappoint", said Noriaki.

Becchel Inn

Dana pops into existence is here now, I guess.

Nyquil waits for the door to close. Once he hears it, he looks down and watches the group pass by the alleyway. After that, he carefully pulls his paw out the wall and begins to fall. He kicks off the side of the inn and lands with a roll. Now that he’s back on the ground, he walks to the end of the alleyway. He peeks his head around the corner to watch the passing group. Some people seem to be missing… presumably still inside the inn. Of those present, he singles out the person the furthest in the back.
… Dana.

Becchel, the Patinkin's

"Ahh, right. Anyways, ah s'pose we can all go fer food an' ah'll handle this later. Ah don't want hunger mixin' up the results."

Koss chuckles a bit before following the remaining trickle of mons out the door. He considers doing a quick scan of Eliot's mind to get a sense of what might be worrying Woodruff and Mila, but he decides against it for now. After all, it's not like something would interrupt them, would it?

"Let's get going, then"

Mila takes up the back of their small group that's still inside, watching Eliot carefully as she does so. It hurts her somewhat to see how upset he's been with everything going on. Just one more reason that she has to make sure things are finished and taken care of properly. After this she'll have to find some way to get them all to relax.

Autumn looks over to Whitney as she follows along, trying to figure out what to tell the Growlithe. She'd never gotten a chance to explain to her the danger of the situation last night, had she? Maybe now was a good time.

"Hey, Whitney? How much do you know about why we're here in Becchel?"

"... Not much, admittedly. Some Granbull filled me in last night, but I was missing some blanks." Whitney responds to Autumn. "She mentioned an "old spark" of uh... N... Noaraki? That she killed people and, uh... Turns people into bees. That's about it though."

She thinks for a bit before responding. "Do you guys know an Anastasia?"

Becchel, outside the Patinkin's

Autumn shudders somewhat as Whitney brings up the old adviser. Honestly, she's also a bit surprised that Whitney doesn't seem to be aware of her history, given that she was around for those events herself. Maybe the girl was just sheltered in the inn.

"I do... that's who we were trying to deal with when we got to Foxfell. But I'd rather not talk about her any more, if that's okay. As for what she told you, it's more or less right, but please don't ignore the danger. She did something to Niles, to our friend, and now he's... I don't know, I don't know what's happened to him."

"... Did something?"

Well, that's terrifyingly vague. Did they torture him, kill him, rip his toes off, what?

"I... I see, yeah. Alright!" Whitney seems a bit more smug if anything. "Well, if you're worried about me not fighting well, rest assured, I can kick names and take ass!!"

Becchel, outside the Patinkin's

"no, no, no, no, no..."

Autumn stops and rubs her face with her paws. This is just getting worse. Why is it that whenever she tries to convince them of the danger of the situation they just seem even more deadset on fighting? What is going wrong?

[Becchel]

"What she has done", said Noriaki, picking up on the conversation mentioning L'Arachel, "Is essentially brainwashed a friend of ours. Most recently he seems to have had his emotions entirely shut down. He is a Quilava that goes by Nyquil, please be wary if you encounter him, but also have a sense of mercy if you happen to corner him. Although I am not sure of that scenario... He is a great combatant."

Becchel (Outside)

Brainwashin'? (Dodie says, having been eavesdropping on the discussion.) Cripes...that's th' last thing that needs t' happen t' any of us...

Could she even get to you, though, Dodie? (Cole remarks.) Only person besides us and Mouse I've ever seen you listen to was your mom.

Do not forget what we are dealing with here, Cole. (Gene warns.) It could very well be that none of us are safe from bending to this Pokémon's will, no matter how strong our own will is.

Ugh... (Dodie groans.)

(Meanwhile, Marsha notes that Eliot, Dinah, and the others still haven't seemed to have left the inn.) Sheesh, what's takin' dem so long?

Of course... (I say to Koss. I look outside and see the others beginning to move.) I think they're already starting to leave us behind. Let's hurry!

Becchel

Dana seems unaware of Niles' presence, and continues walking.

Becchel – Towards the Food Stand

   Brainwashed and Crazy?!! Good. Just what we have needed.   , I commented sarcastically.

Well, he had learned for a while that here, Pokémon can have powers beyond their...well...normal Pokemon powers...L'Arachel and Zyron...that goddamned Beheeyem...

Becchel Streets

Tom's wife, Linda, moves to greet those who happen to be coming down the street and towards the food stand, while Timmy stays near the Inn to assist those who would still need to get down to the stand.

Oh, you must be the customers my little Tommy talked about! You'll enjoy our family's little stand, I'm sure. Tom! How many stacks of pancakes do we got?

Five, dear!

Ha, what a sense of humor you've got...uh, Rainmaker? She almost wiped the floor with us every single previous time we faced her in battle and I don't think this one would be any different. You better be ready, because she brings a ton of combat skills to the table I don't think anyone has seen. You already know of her brainwashing tactics, obviously.

Kevin tries to explain what could be taking the group that's lagging back a bit still so long.

Uhm..I think they were all talking about something to help Eliot? I think they might be coming out now or something...

Ironically enough, as some members of the front group discuss Niles falling victim to L'Arachel, the Quilava himself is hiding in the very alleys near the group- and with a sizable gap between the end of one group (Dana) and the start of the second group-he may very well find a reason to jump in and ambush now...

He takes one last glance at the inn itself to make sure nobody else is coming outside yet. He then looks back at his target. It’s time. He hops out of the alleyway and, with his sights set on the Alolan Vulpix, activates Extrasensory in an attempt to grab her and toss her right back into the alley he was hiding in. Regardless of whether or not his attack succeeds, he’s still going to immediately return to his hiding spot.

Becchel – Tom's Food Stand

   Well, all I know about her is that she is a vicious witch with a lust for power and servants and that battling her won't be like your typical Pokémon battle...   , I said to Marlon.

As we arrived to the food stand, I listen to the conversation between Tom and his wife.

Eh...to be honest, I'm not that much of a fan of pancakes...

I like the flatter pancakes the frenchmen call crêpes. Nyehehehehe.

But this will do...

Becchel Alleyway

It takes a second for Dana to notice she's being grabbed, but when she does she shouts "What the fuck" and shoots out an Ice Shard at random once she lands.

Fortunately for him, Dana has been successfully isolated from the others. Her Ice Shard flies past him. Now, to take her out. He has to make this quick and hopefully quiet. He immediately breathes in before blasting out a Flamethrower at her.
