Battle: Narcia

(After the group split, Eliza's and my attention was turned to a Zangoose playing some music. When the battle raged on, I cursed inwardly as we look at what we're up against. My best bet would likely be the Aerodactyl and hers would be the Bisharp, but that's due to typing. She put her hand on my shoulder and spoke to me.) Don't worry about me, I'll take care of blue boy. You worry about his friends. (She walked forward and winked at me. My heart was aflutter, yet the rage of battle had quelled it. Then, she ran towards the Bisharp and leaped upwards for a High Jump Kick to catch him by surprise.

(I wanted to help her out, but I just don't wanna come off as overbearing. I looked at the Aerodactyl and aimed for its wings with a Spirit Shackle.)

(On top of a nearby building, Arsene looked at the scene. Almost like a riot broke out, just missing more people, he thought. He decided not to interfere, no sense in wasting energy if it doesn't do the job. That is, until Eliza decided to, quite literally, leap into battle. He sighed as he looked at his target. He prepared a Dragon Pulse and waited for an opening to fire.)

Blissparce (Pappa's)

I shall have a nomelade please. (Marjorie says.)

Me too! (Lucy says.)

Me three! (June says.)

Uh...are we all going to end up with nomelades? (I ask, chuckling a bit.)

Who all wants a nomelade? (Marjorie asks.)

(I raise my hand. Lucy, June, Liesl, and Sunny do so as well.)

Alright, so we would like at least six nomelades. (Marjorie says to the Gothorita. She turns to Maran, Cortez, Rich, Salty, and Delilah.) What do you all want? Salty, do you want a nomelade as well, or do you want something else?

Gimme the hardest drink you've got! (Cortez says to the Gothorita before anyone can say anything else, smirking at Maran.)

Boss! Bzzz! Do you have to do that every restaurant we go to now? It izzzn't funny anymore! (Maran whispers to Cortez.)

Just kidding! (Cortez says, sticking his tongue out at Maran.) Eh...just gimme a Razz Berry tea.

I'd like one as well. (Maran says.)

I jest want a glass of water. (Rich says.)

I just want water, too. (Delilah says.)

"Heh, yeah, Nomelade for me too."

"Alright, so 7 Nomelades, 2 Razz Teas, And 2 waters. I'll be right back with those."

The Gothorita makes note of orders and heads off.

Blissparce (Pappa's)

(We wait for the Gothorita to return.)

So...what are we gonna eat, then?

Blissparce (Dos Santos Manor)

(As we are at the restaurant, Mia and her siblings are drawing close to their house. It's a very large stone building made of marble with a stone roof. All around it are various Berry bushes and trees inside the fence surrounding the property. There is no doubt that Mr. and Mrs. Dos Santos are the wealthiest folks in town.)

(Mia knocks on the door with one of her upper arms.) Mamãe? Papai? Vocês estão em casa agora? As coisas estão ficando meio loucas aqui e papai não vai ficar feliz... ^* Mom? Dad? You guys home right now? Things are getting a bit crazy out here and Dad's not going to be happy...

(There is no answer, however. She knocks again, this time calling for their butler.) Ei, Jeffrey, você também?

After knocking into Montresor, I bounce back and land on my feet. "Phew…" I turn my head to check on Dana, only to notice someone else gunning it for us. "Dana, heads up! We've got more company!" I withhold myself from using a move in anticipation.

[Narcia]

Zelgius manages to evade the first two Psyshocks fired at him, but the third hits him by the side, leaving him wide open for Castaway to Crunch his wing. The Aerodactyl flaps his wings aggressively and even uses one to try and scrape the Totodile off of him. In his struggling, the Spirit Shackle launched at him barely misses and zips right by his face.

"Looks like we've got more company, comrades", said Zelgius before following up on Castaway with a Wing Attack delivered with both wings swinging downward.

As Notte was advancing to help out Montresor, he got caught completely off-guard by Eliza's High Jump Kick. Keeping a steady stance, he tried to quickly unleash an X-Scissor with both of the metal blades from his forearms. Regardless, Noriaki manages to catch up and throws a ranged Leaf Blade right at Notte, who still is unflinching from it.

Montresor regains his breath and takes this moment to survey the battlefield. The sight of Noriaki made him angry.

"You shouldn't have involved these other people in our conflict, Noriaki", he called out, "Just more unnecessary pain because of you, wretch."

Noriaki simply scoffed and focused on the fight at hand.

Far in the distance within Narcia, further than those currently fighting could see, a group of three Pokemon were scurrying towards where they think they heard commotion.

"Sounds like things are going south already", said the roundish one.

"Let's get a move on, then!", said the larger one.

"We should consider approaching carefully, the element of surprise is not be underestimated", said the winged one.

Narcia, Montresor Fight

“Got it.” Dana readies another Ice Shard, shivs forming in the air around her.

About half of them fly at Montresor when he speaks up again.

“Well, coming to fight us isn’t exactly making us less involved, is it?”

(Bisharp, Bisharp... It's a Steel Type, right? I should be able to take him on, even if it's only because of type efficiency, but...) I glance at the Vulpix fighting along side me. (Damn it. I want to help her with this stupid bird, but this other guy could mess her up.) Needing to decide quickly, I ignite my entire body and start Flame Charging towards the Bisharp. (I'll have to trust her! She can probably handle herself!)

Narcia [Main Group]

Oh good, Grigs and whoever tagged along with him are getting into it as well.

I keep looking around for any way to perhaps reach the Aerodactyl with my building-up Ice Punch...aha!

Marsha? You see that Rock that he threw over there?

Yeahs?

I motion for her to grab it, and I shift over into keeping a Protect wall up, slamming the riot shield-like barrier down, allowing me to crouch behind it. Marsha wheels the rock over.

I need you to use Hammer Arm on this...and then I can try freezing the shards with Ice Punch...and then I can do something with them.

Ya sure about dis?

Yeah.

(I stand back and let it build in my arm...and den I slam on da rock.)

The rock smashes into about twenty equal pieces. Perfect.

Marsha washes Castaway get thrown about as well.

Cas! Get back!

Blissparce, mansion

Jeffrey, the family’s Lurantis waiter, emerges.

Uh, kids? Your parents, they heard about Izzy...it isn’t good.

I heard Marsha and finally released my jaw. ”You’re about to meet your watah-y grave,” I warned the Aerodactyl, holding onto its wing before I let go and dropped off.

Blissparce (Mansion)

(Mia was not prepared to hear something like this. Her pleasant smile drops.) W-What do you mean: "It isn't good"? What happened? Where's Izzy? Where's Mom and Dad? (Mia asks in worry.)

Pappa's Place

"Hm, well, the pão de queijo looks interesting to me."

Dos Santos Place

Tiago's a bit startled. He can't think of what else to say so just... waits to hear what Jeffrey will say.

Narcia [Main Group]

I create a small Icy shockwave with Ice Punch, which sends ten of the 20 rock shards flying...but I’m now looking at basically 10 icicles that I can use...

My eyes quickly turn to a hue of pink. I lift the icy rocks high with a Psychic, which I start firing towards Zelgius, one after the other.

Blissparce

Izzy...they found that she..uh...she’s dead.

Blissparce (Pappa's)

What's that? (Lucy asks Salty.)

Blissparce (Dos Santos Manor)

I-...I-...Izzy's WHAT?! (Mia screams.)

(Mia guns for the spacious living room to see if their parents are there, but doesn't initially see them while frantically searching for them. It's when she looks up towards the back of the house that she sees Mr. and Mrs. Dos Santos (the latter currently in a Cacture form) through the open back doors, leaning against each other as they sit on a bench. She can tell by their movements that both seem to be in tears.)

(Stunned from the revelation that her younger sister is dead, Mia begins half-walking, half-stumbling toward the back door to see their parents.)

Vs. Zelgius

(Damn. I kept my distance from the group as not to interrupt their attack. Time to fight him on even ground then. I took flight and moved to his right side. I fired a few Razor Leaves to slow him down, but I'm not sure how well that will work.)

Vs. Notte and Montresor

(Eliza prepared to deflect Notte's X-Scissor with a Trop Kick by aiming for his arms. However, it would likely fail given the type differences between the moves and the Pokemon. Arsene, meanwhile, fired his Dragon Pulse at the Bisharp as soon as Eliza is out of the way. If someone else got caught, so be it.)

Blissparce (Dos Santos Manor)

(Tiago and Mia find their parents on the bench in the back yard as seen from inside the house. Both are indeed audibly weeping. Some of Izabel's personal belongings (such as some of her spoons, as Izabel was an Alakazam) sit around them on the bench.)

(Mia slowly puts a hand on her father's back. He turns to look at her with tear-stained eyes, followed by her mother. Mr. Dos Santos pulls Mia close and hugs her. Mia finally breaks down and cries into her father's chest as he does so.)

(Mrs. Dos Santos looks up at Tiago with her sad, dark eyes.)

Blissparce (Pappa's)

Ooh... (Lucy says.) That sounds good! Can I get it?

Of course, Lucy. (Marjorie(?) says.)

Maybe I'll get that, too. (Delilah says.)

Same here. (Liesl says.)

At this rate, we may have to get a large bowl for the six of us to split! (Marjorie(?) laughs.)

Yeah! (Lucy agrees.)

Those cheese rolls actually sound good. I might get some of those, too. (However, looking back at the menu, the Occa Berry burrito catches my eye. Gosh, I just realized that I haven't eaten a burrito since I first woke up like this.) Actually, on second thought...man, I could go for a good burrito...might get a couple of those Occa burritos instead.

Think I'll just get a pizza! (June says.) I looooove pizza! 'Specially when it has extra cheese on it! Yummy!

Would you want to split a pizza, Maran? (Sunny asks Maran.)

Bzz...I was kind of leaning towards these Spelon burritos...bzz... (Maran says, looking at his menu.) We could get two of those instead, perhapzzz...

Okay. (Sunny nods.)

Hm...maybe I'll get th' special. (Rich says.)

Huh?

It's a salad with grilled Rowap berries in it. (Rich tells Cortez.) Sounds pretty good if yeh ask me...

Hrm...can't think of anythin' else I want. (Cortez shrugs.)

[Narcia]

Zelgius swats away at the icicles coming to him, but it does still hurt his wing. He then gets pelted by the Razor Leaves as he spots Grigori.

"Air superiority is something I was known for, y'know", he says with a hardy chuckle as he unleashes a downward Wing Attack with both wings on Grigori.

"I am not the one who decided to side with that trash", Montresor beamed back as he used the steel pins to slash away a few of the ice shards, but several manage to get through his guard. The Noctowl's eyes glow as he levitates up a few large pieces of rubble coming from the fight, shaping them in to drill-like stones that he launches forward at Dana.

Notte is unflinching as he meets the Trop Kick with his X-Scissor, his advancing cut undeterred.

He does get hit by Nyquil's charge, although he stance still remains firm. He doesn't see the Dragon Pulse coming at him and it hits him full force.

"Consarn it...!", the Bisharp growled, "How many more will disrupt us here...?"

Noriaki went in to follow up with a Leaf Blade, but Notte stepped to the side and delivered a Night Slash, knocking the Dartrix back.

Taking in the weight of his attack and flexing his hand's joints, Notte muttered to himself, "The Tsareena's attack drained some of my strength... This may become problematic..."

I bounce off of the Bisharp and land on the ground. With this boost in my speed, I feel like I can try to multitask. After all, it seems like this guy is being handled by a lot more people, so I try to help Dana take care of the Noctowl. I inhale and spin around, letting lose another volley of fire bolts. I don't care if the Ember hits him or gets in the way of his attack, I just want to be able to help. (If I was stronger, then this would be so much easier!)

I fire another Tri-attack at the Aerodactyl.

Narcia

"Well, that trash you speak of didn't appear randomly and start a fight so he's got a point over you in my eyes!"

Dana is sliced by a couple stones (thankfully not more, thanks to Niles). She growls in annoyance, before darting around any remaining attacks and attempting to tackle. The moment before she jumps, dark energy surrounds her.

Even Dana seems a bit surprised by this.

Narcia [Main Group]

Air superiority, my ass!

I quickly gather three leaf blade shurikens and rapid-fire them at Zelgius.

Foxy...?

Blissparce

Tiff also rushes to meet their parents on the bench.

Mama...papa...lo sentimos..Izzy ... siempre la recordaremos ...

(Mrs. Dos Santos stretches her arms over and pulls Tiago and Tiff close, still weeping.) Sim...

Vs. Zelgius

(I tried to intercept with my Leaf Blades, but I was too slow to deflect the damage. I was pushed back against a building, but I'm not out yet. I leaped forward and went for the chest of the Aerodactyl when it was occupied with the others.)

Vs. Notte and Montresor

(Eliza was knocked back a few feet, the attack on her leg had somewhat stunted her recovery. Said leg was not too terribly damaged, but another High Jump Kick would be too risky. She rushed forward to deliver another Trop Kick, this time with her other foot, knowing the Bisharp's attack would be hampered. Arsene would fire another Dragon Pulse, again with Eliza out of the way.)
