Cyke pushes Fin out of the way, before she can be hit.

*realizes those are definitely wild mons* Whoa, what did the uh...green haired magic user? do anyway? Can't we just talk?

*gets into sheer terror mode when seeing the wave, and digs some seriously complex tunnels (multiple sumps to try and trap/slow any rushing water) FAST to get out of its way*

"OOF!!" Finley shouts, being pushed out of the way.

... But she immediately gets up, not really dwelling on it. "Just go away already, we don't need to fight!"

"I don't think he cares anymore. Just , beat him unconscious. Not dead, of course".

Dana sorta zoned out for the past couple minutes. The wave of water appearing snaps her out of it.

"What the-"

She starts running away.

"Fine, like this then." Finley crosses her arms, not fighting. "We're sorry for attacking you and initiating this. I should not have set you on fire, my friend shouldn't have picked you. Can we please just calm down?"

I let out a yawn. (Boy, constantly insulting a horny spider is apparently draining... Wait, people are awake. That's neat, I gue-) I wasn't able to properly finish my thought and dozed off.

*Jani pops up on the other side of the creek, having dug her complex sump in the wave's incoming direction, a little tired and wet but none worse for wear*

*Jani shouts at the intruders* HEY! Watch it with the AOEs! Are you trying to get me killed?!

"Cherrim is helping out Rudy by firing solarbeams at anything near her''.

"Take this!" Cyk fires a quick Moonblast at Cherrim. It connects, knocking her down. A bit bruised, she comes back and starts attacking again.

"Stop attacking, please. We can just move on here without casualties."

Guys, wait! (I try to intervene) This must be some sort of big misunderstanding! We can talk this out! What happened?

(Of course, I have no idea how this started, I just want everyone to calm down and quit fighting.)

"W-wait... who are we fighting?"

*yells in Wrench's direction* Some living berries, I think? Also a huge green thing. It's safer over here, they want green hair for some reason. *showing uncharacteristic cowardice, mainly because her instincts see all those type-advantaged mons over there as death*

"SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Suddenly, a Blaziken appears, as if out of nowhere. And by 'appears', I mean 'jumps out of a nearby thicket and Blaze-Kicks the Ludicolo In the Back as hard as he can'.

"Just calm down, we ca- JESUS CHRIST!!"

She yells, jumping down on the ground in sudden terror.

"Holy s-" I then censor myself.

I may be asleep, that isn't gonna stop me from shouting. "Hhhey! Sh… shut the fffuck up! Tryna sleep over here…" Too bad I sound drunk as hell.

Dana stops in her tracks to gawk at the Blaziken.

"... Oookay then.."

Holy cow!! ( I yelp)

( I walk over to the Ludicolo in concern)

Hey, uh, are you okay?

*Jani just stares in awe of the of the flaming anthro martial artist, and sure hopes they're on our side*

As Goobert rushes over to the Ludicolo's aid, the Blaziken walks in closer, and it becomes apparent that he's wearing some kind of flame shirt with the buttons undone. Two more Pokemon approach from behind: a female Machoke and, walking ahead of the other two, a Hakamo-O.

The small dragon practically swaggers in, swinging his arms wide. "Well, well, well! Didn't your parents teach you to always check your berries before you pick 'em? If you're this dumb, perhaps I... uh, we shoulda let 'em knock you down. But..." he continued, pointing to address the Cherrim, who he assumed was the ringleader behind this league of false berries. "Word to the wise, fake berry! These guys are waaaay outta your league! I'd suggest running off somewhere, preferably to a church! Or at least a hardened bunker underneath a church! You're gonna need one!"

Noriaki takes note of the new arrivals.

"Who are all of you? Allies?", he asked from the distance.
