He's leaving...again? He just got back, and there he goes, again. Really? I mean, really? The only thing I can ask is why...? Sure, Delilah wants to get her mother right again, but we could do that together, as a team...not just the two of them and the cursed mons, who'd probably need us to bail them out of some messy situation, involving things I'd have never thought were possible until I turned into a Pokémon myself. I continue waiting for the Audino or Ludovic to usher us in, wondering how much I can trust my best friend to actually stay with us for more than a day or two now...

Foxfell (Palace)

Heh heh, sure, matey... (Rich chuckles to Salty.)

The doctor looks the wounded over.

"You're kidding... seems like whoever called you to me was a drama queen. Or drama princess, rather." He looks to Autumn, who seems to be getting more and more flustered, before reaching into his doctor's bag and pulling out four Sitruses.

"Just take these. You'll be fine."

I didn’t really say anything about the extent of Autumn’s injuries, not wanting to take a side.

Foxfell

Oh good... (I say, taking two Berries and handing one to Delilah and eating mine. Gobbling it down, my face begins to hurt considerably less. I glance over to Delilah and notice her shoulder gash clearing up as well.)

(Marsha takes a Berry and hands it to Marlon.) Good thing handlin' injaries like dis is a snap, huh? (She says to him.)

(Benji likewise takes a Berry and eats it.) Whew...I should be able tuh painlessly morph again in no time.

(He turns to everyone else.) Are we ready ta head inside 'n eat now?

I am! (Lucy says, not really getting that we likely have to be lead inside.)

“Sure, I don’t see why not,” I said, putting on my tuxedo (only the top half of one).

Entering palace

Ooh, heh heh. Didn't expect the doctor to suddenly pull out four Sitrus Berries. But I'm a pokemon now, I think I should be expecting this at this point. As soon as I scarf the berry down I feel much less of a thump in my stomach until the bruise recedes into nothing more than a red mark on my stomach. I look to Marsha and Lucy.

Yeah...heh. Sometimes I forget that things like this are easily dealt with. And, kid, they're going to want to lead us inside first.

And...aw....lookit the little Totodile wearing the tuxedo...! I just wanna pinch his cheeks and....

Wait, I'm not Eliot. I stand forward attention again, looking toward Ludovic and crew, nodding.

Yeah, I'm ready to go in.

I almost snicker at the doctor's reaction. Almost. As before, emotional loss/extreme inhibition in exchange for psychic and physical power. At Castaway donning a tuxedo, I raise an 'eyebrow', or the Metagross equivalent. Where did he get that, and when? After a moment of consideration, I shunt the thought from my mind. Analysis indicates a low chance of useful data being gained.

At Benji's query, I nod once. A small memory comes to mind. Tilly, back in the Forest, asking how a mechanical Pokemon powers themselves. My lack of memory on the subject. I set a processor to record the data as needed. Knowledge is power, and I see no reason to waste an opportunity. I speak up.

"Confirmation: I am ready."

Noriaki nods and says, "Indeed, I am ready."

Near Foxfell

(I nodded.) I hear you. (After all that, I'm willing to take a breather for the night.)

Quickly, the king arrives, looking the party over. "You've done us all a great duty. If it weren't for you, it would only be a matter of time before the wicked Anastasia wiped us all out." The queen isn't far behind, but is silent. Simply nodding.

"Come in. We have a feast ready for you."

He and the queen turn around, entering the castle. Autumn looks to the party. "I hope you guys are hungry. Our royal chef tends to go a bit overboard..."

Foxfell (Castle)

Autumn, I'm a Goodra. I'm probably going to eat a whole ton even if we didn't just go after Anastasia. (I say, thinking about the massive appetite I seem to have now. Delilah and I head in.)

I hope they have Wiki Berries... (Lucy comments to Benji and Eliot.)

Heh, goin' by what she just said, they're probably gonna have that and more! (Benji chuckles.)

(June sees us all heading in and turns to the cursed mons.) Oops! Think we're headin' in! Talk to ya later, Lizzy! (June says to Liesl, running to catch up.)

Good-bye, June. (Liesl nods as June heads off.)

Enjoy the party, mateys! (Rich calls after us.)

I never knew you had family out here, Liezzzl. (Maran remarks.)

Well...I never found a moment to bring it up until now. I grew up here. (Liesl says.) I'll have to tell you all about growing up here later.

Sounds great! Bzz! (Maran nods.)

How about we get somethin' to eat ourselves right now? (Cortez asks.) I'm huuuungwy!

Sure, little boss! Bzz! Let's look for something! (Maran says.) I guess after we do that, we'll get some supplies and then meet back up with that Ditto to see about his boat...

Yeah... (Cortez says.)

(The five of them head off to do just that.)

Elsewhere

(Dinah is walking around Foxfell searching for us.)

Foxfell, At the Castle

[I wave to the cursed mons.] "See ya guys!" [I then turn back towards the castle and head inside with the others...I lick my lips in anticipation, I'm just imagining the overwhelming volume of the feast. It may be good to stuff myself a little, since I am planning on shirking this Kadabra shell and going back out. No matter what may come, that unease about the fight still sits at the back of my mind...]

Noriaki bows respectfully as the king thanks them.

"I must say, today has left me quite famished, an exceptionally large feast should be of no issue", said Noriaki, heading in with the others.

Entering the castle

I walk into the castle with the others, keeping with Marsha. As we do, I pull Marsha close and ask any others close by (like maybe Eliot), to also get a bit closer so they can hear my whispers.

Uh..Goobert's leaving again, guys..

(I might as well take this victory while we can. Plus, I could go for some food right now. I head inside the castle for the night.)

Earlier That Day

(At the bunker, a certain Crabominable sits in his quarters, waiting with a cigar in hand. Out of the doorway, a cloaked Dragalge emerges and takes his seat. The Crabominable opens with a somewaht grim expression.) You know why I brought you here, Arsene?

(The Dragalge responds, with age in his voice.) Don't tell me you're sending me after that kid of yours...

(The Crabominable answered with his tone lightening up.) No, but I am sending you somewhere. Foxfell to be precise.

(Arsene picked up on who's at that place.) Oh, she's old enough to take care of herself.

I know she is, smartass, I just want you over there so she doesn't get any ideas from him. (The Crabominable flicked the ashes of his cigar as he continued.) Head over to Trifrost Port and meet Bruno there. He'll take you to that kingdom in about a day. When you get there, find her, tell her she's coming back here, and watch over her. Use any means necessary, anything's fair game. Any questions?

Not at all. I'll make sure she stays in line. (Arsene makes his way out of the room, while thinking to himself that whatever she's planning, it'd better be smarter than what he did. Otherwise, Bounsweet and Steenee's on the menu.)

What? Dey just got back! (Marsha says.)

(...oh crap. I never was a good whisperer. So much for easing everyone into this.)

Goobert's only concerned about his face getting worse if he gets in another fight, that's all. (Delilah says before I say anything.)

Y-Yeah... ( I say nervously.) I'm coming right back.

(Lucy looks worried and clings to Eliot.) I don't hafta go too, do I?

Am I goin'? (June asks.)

Foxfell (in town)

(Dinah is still looking around for us, having asked several mons if they've seen a large group of Pokémon consisting of a Raichu, a Gallade, a Smeargle, a Riolu, among others. She's had no success, however. She makes a last ditch effort to ask a peculiar-looking group of Pokémon that seem to be looking for something.)

Um, excuse me... (Dinah says, tapping the Tyranitar in the group on the back.)

Hm? (Rich and the other cursed mons turn to her.) Need somethin', lass?

Um, yes, you wouldn't happen to have seen a very large group of Pokémon come into town, would you? (Dinah asks.) Was there a Gallade, a Swampert, a Goodra, and a Riolu among them? (Dinah doesn't bother asking if Benji was among them since he could be looking like anybody.)

Oh! Oui, madamme! (Sunny says.) Zey are at ze castle. We were just talking to zem.

Oh, thank you! Thank you so much! (Dinah says, turning and heading toward the castle. Hopefully everyone's available to talk to right now...)

Salty heads in, ready to eat some food when they hear the discussion.

"Uh, wait, mateys, what's this about lea-"

"Ah, gotcha. But where to, anyway?"

"I don't blame you for wanting to take a short leave, Goobert", said Noriaki, "The way we are now is not a suitable lifestyle for all, which is why quite understandable to want breaks from it."

We're just going to go with Benji and the cursed Pokémon to Gleamscape and then to Danjor Island. (Delilah explains to Dieter.)

Yeah... ( I say to Nori.) We're not leaving for good, just so our injuries can get better before we get in a fight again...

"...huh." [I stop and look back at Goobert.] "Ya sure you wanna head off for that? I get taking medical leave, but...well..." [I stop myself from rolling my eyes...it kinda feels like he takes any excuse he can to leave. Now Lucy on the other hand...]

[I take a knee in front of her, hesitating a little before saying, "And Luc, uhh...well, you're probably gonna be goin' back with Benji 'n Dinah... And I may'a told'ja this before, but...it's safer if ya go back with 'em, considering when you were here with us, we had to go out and put a hit on that mean ol' Granbull." [I put a hand on her shoulder.] "But we still gotta feast ahead of us, plus you'll probably be headin' out tomorrow...so ya still got time with us!"

(… Maybe I should leave, too.)

Outside Stoutland Shop —> Outside Banquet Hall

*the sisters followed, but generally kept to themselves, as Tilly decided to finally address the issue first-hand...and quietly* I can see that you are trying to maintain a cheerful facade, but your attempts at denial do not appear to be fooling anyone. *to which Lilly immediately responds with a rude look, followed by by resignation*

Yer right...yer always right about me, huh? I never was any good at that kinda lyin', I guess... *her eyes then well up as she adds* ...she ain't never comin' back, is she...

*Tilly hesitates for a moment...almost looks like she's going to craft a lie, but then decides to give it to Lilly straight* It does not appear so.

So then what? Yeah, I was super useless while y'all were fightin' that sorceress, but I doubt if I were there it'd have made much difference...

... *Tilly has somewhat matching sentiments, only hers are a past tense rather than a past potential. She knows that those traveling with her are on a whole different level, and the two think long and hard as they travel to the castle*
