Eluant Mountains —> Fallo Ter Entrance
Y'all get ready back there, it's in spittin' distance now! *Sirus informs the treasure hunters, and after one more uphill climb they finally reach the spacious tunnel that Sirus carved into the mountain...the one that leads straight to the sealed entrance of Fallo Ter*
*The entrance to Fallo Ter is not so much an entrance as it is a seam in the otherwise seamless block of solid steel — at least, that is all that can be determined from the outside. Leading up to it is a path recently excavated by Sirus, allowing a fairly convenient (and horizontal) point of entry from the mountain itself. If one were to look up, one might notice a number of Onix-sized tunnels cris-crossing a mostly vertical shaft that also leads to the mountain's surface, although hints of other excavations are certainly present — trinkets from a relatively recent excavation, but also building materials that are much, much older...*
*in spite of being named "Fallo Ter", there are no markings at the excavation point. Nothing engraved into the steel, no signage of any kind...anything suggesting the origin of this place is not to be found outside*
(Who would build this thing inside the mountain...hmm...) *Sarah thinks to herself. As soon as Sirus comes to a stop by the massive steel doors, Sarah gives them a good, hard look*
Woods, Thicket (Grigori's Group)
I see...that rarely happens in Agartha... *Tilly says to Snaptooth, pointing out* ...while the police tend to overlook such incidents, that's not to say they go without some form of severe reprisal...

Current WHABP alts: Jani (Sarah) the Purrloin, Hudson the Togetic. Tilly/Lilly (Digletts) are being Put on a Bus.Treasure
(Tronne(?) wearily climbs down from Sirus on unstable feet and falls over. I swear this had better be worth it...)
Heehee, rough ride, huh, Tronne? (Cam chuckles as she helps Tronne(?))
( No, really, Kecleon? BEING an Onix would be better than riding on one! You don't get sick from just being one! Winnie thinks to herself. But she instead says:'') Yeah...!
(Cam and "Tronne" look up at the entrance above them.) Wow... (Cam says.) Gosh, ya want me to bust through that? I hope usin' Flamethrower works!
( Oh, I could break through them easily! Too bad I have to be stuck in a Skitty's body until I leave here with the treasure! Winnie grumbles.) Wow, it's a big one! (She says as Tronne.)
(The real Tronne is still a ways behind the treasure hunters.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Mila Group - woods, ???
"Right, right... you lead the way"
Mila's mild panic keeps her from hearing the sounds around her, and she focuses her energy on keeping watch on the forest in front of them, hoping to recognize landmarks in case they have to find their way back. Inwardly, she can't help but wonder why they didn't have a psychic in their group. Behind them, a twig snaps underfoot out of sync with the two's movements.
Can anyone hear me? I think Niles and I are lost.
Noriaki Group - woods, overhang.
Focusing on the new scenery eventually dissolves the illusion, and leaves them standing precariously close to the edge of a sheer ridge, with another wall of rock behind them. The cliff above looms outwards, shading their current position and creating a rather cold pocket of air. Out in front of the mountain, any signs of other groups in the fields have disappeared, and the stream is nowhere to be found. In the cliff, however, shadows are covering a part that could lead to a cave, or could just be more wall. The bottom of the lower cliff, meanwhile, is home to a patch of colorful flowers that seem out of place in this environment.
Marsha Group - forest edge, stream
That would appear to be the case. Shall we follow the stream upwards? I doubt she'd try the same trick twice at this point.
Though the forest hugs the mountain close, the trees part slightly as the stream passes by. It seems like the area would be a natural pathway for civilized and feral mons alike, as well as a gathering place given the necessity of water for survival. The scenic view of the area also shouldn't be understated, but it seems like that isn't very much on Ludovic's mind. Up ahead some rustling can be heard among the underbrush.
Eliot Group - forest, creek
Approaching the sound of water takes the group further into the woods, though a simple dirt path that crosses their path makes the travel easy. Now that the illusion has been dispelled, the area seems oddly devoid of life compared to the reappearing Dedenne from earlier. Eventually, they'd come across a creek flowing from the top of the mountain and taking a bend as it continues downstream, the forest blocking view any further in that direction. Looking up to the top, however, it's a mostly straight shot. It's hard to say where the water is coming from, given the angle, but a spring near the mountaintop wouldn't be a bad guess.
Marlon Group - deeper woods
Climbing over the tree, the woods in front of them pack closer together, and start to shade out light. There's still enough space for Goobert to move through, though not without some thought as to how to proceed. To the west, there seems to be the remnants of a fight, with the trunks of trees ruined by water damage and the ground scattered by combat.
If Marlon picks up Mila's thoughts, they're faint but untraceable, the only certainty being that she's somewhere on the mountain.
Grigori Group - woods, great fir
Vass' signal begins to shift, as if circling around them before landing squarely to the east, and maybe 100 feet away. In that direction, the thicket begins to clear, and Tilly may sense that the root network underground does the same. To the west, however, a massive old growth fir towers above them and blocks easy movement. Its roots stretch above ground some time before finding the dirt, and create small spaces underneath that allow for a variety of uses, from storage to stealth to anchor points.
I need to update these things more oftenMy ears perk and I flinch upon hearing the twig snap. I turn around, not fully registering my view, and look back at Mila. (Gotta keep composure...!) I gulp and slow down so that she can walk in front of me. "You walk ahead of me. I'll watch your back." I place my right paw on her back for assurance and my left to hold the stick against my torso. I can't move as fast, walking on my hind legs, but my main priority is that I don't have a panicking mess on my hands. I ignite my back fires, hopefully to deter any threats.
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away.Looking at the creek, Jack became thirsty as he smacked his lips, but then thought better of it as he voiced what's on his mind.
Jack: I wouldn't advise drinking the water from that creek. Even if it isn't an illusion, what's the say that the Granbull won't simply put poison in it just to catch us off guard? I mean sure, I'm part Steel-type, but I wouldn't risk it when I have fleshy parts of my body if you know what I mean.
Snaptooth sighs as he replies to Tilly, a hint of tranquil rage in his sad eyes.
Snaptooth: Unfortunately I spend my childhood in a place that didn't have any real need for a police force since it was a sparsely populated area of the wilderness, so they weren't there when it happened.
He looks back at his surroundings, hoping that the new imagery would phase out the bad memories for the moment. He turns his attention to the big flipping mass of pencil shaving material.
Hmmm...that fir tree looks like a good thing to use as a landmark, even if it isn't hiding something of interest to us. As it's the first notable thing we've encountered after my talk about illusions a few moments ago, I suggest using one of those non-lethal moves on it just in case to make sure that it's not an illusion.
The League of HeroesA sudden shift in the signal catches me off guard. I immediately re-focus on the signal. Shifting... then stopping? What? My eyes narrow. Something's off about this, but I don't know what. I put that thought aside for now, focusing on the distance and direction. A brief calculation later, and I've got the location.
Alert: We are fairly close to the signal. Direction: Eastwards. Distance: Approximately 30 meters away. Tactical note: The signal has been shifting recently. This may indicate either Target movement, or interference with my systems from an unknown source. Tactical Suggestion: Test the Fir Tree for illusions, and note its location if no illusions are detected. Search gaps in the roots to check for any possible items or traps. Upon completion, resume travel toward signal.

Those poor bastards won't know what hit 'em when the grey geese fly.Marlon Group, deeper woods
Stepping inch-by-inch into the deeper woods I eventually lead us into an ever deeper set of woods where...
What happened here? Did everyone else get into a fight or something..?
Better not have. I start feeling a ping (one that I can barely feel) wave over me as I survey the scene of this fight. Mila seems to have gotten lost...I send one back, though given distance it probably would come back as also feeling faint.
Okay...I don't know where you two are...we'll try to get to you...
I look to the others to suggest something.
Think we should look around this scene...if this "fight"continued we could follow it further.
Fallo Ter, Rival Group
Oh no. They caught up to him. Stellan isn't about to just let these kids get 'his treasure. From whatever point he's at in Fallo Ter, he rolls to the side and looks upward at his comrades, who are frozen on his back due to the electricity coming out of it.
What do we do here guys...they've got that Kecleon girl and they're probably gonna burn that door open.

June 27thMarlon group
(Okay, I really hope these trees don't get any tighter packed or I'm going to have to squeeze and squish my way through them. I guess it wouldn't be that hard for me since I'm think I may be boneless, but I'm still...thicc, for lack of a better way to put it.)
(My thoughts are interrupted by the fight site in front of us.)
I hope it wasn't one of ours. (I say.) You think it was where the guards tried to stop Anastasia from before? Or was that somewhere else? (I ask Marlon.) Uh, in any case, maybe we should investigate?
Marsha group
(The girls begin following Ludovic along the creek.)
Glad ta be outta dat circle, eh, Del? (Marsha comments as they do so.)
Yeah, Marsha, that-... (Delilah stops when she suddenly hears something ahead of them.)
Del?
Did either of you hear that? I think there's something up ahead in the bushes. (Delilah says, pointing ahead.)
Aw crap, I hope it's not da crazy chick. (Marsha says, turning to Ludovic.) We gonna check it out?
Nori group
Whoa! (Benji says, jumping back and pulling Noriaki and Dieter back away from the edge if they are.)
Dang, any further and we woulda gone splat onto all those...flowers, just sayin'! (Benji seems a bit confused at all of the flowers down below.) Think we might be lost now, fellas?
(Benji sends out a ping to Eliot, Marlon, and Vassago.) Hey, fellas, how are you guys comin' along? Think we just almost fell off a cliff, just sayin'!
Eliot group
I'm kinda thirsty... (Lucy admits, though she doesn't move to get a drink. Then she looks around at either direction they could go.)
Are we gonna go up? (She asks, pointing up at the clearer pathway up the mountain.)
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Dieter takes control for a bit again and takes some deep breaths to calm themselves after that.
"I... whew... thanks, Benji..."
They look around.
"...Yeah, we definitely are. I will say that."
"life is just a series of increasingly canon-eluding ao3 tags" ~ everydunsparce "Keep your hellfruit away from me, tempter" ~ also EveryMarlon Group, deeper woods
I'd like to assume that this is from before with the other guards...and yeah, I think we should take a look around here. Also...Mila and Niles are lost, but as far as the ping I just got is concerned, I can't exactly trace their thoughts to any exact location other than somewhere on the mountain for now.
I then feel Benji's ping.
We haven't found anything yet...but man, we had a close call with a tree just a bit ago...we tried to smash a boulder, and then it suddenly just became another tree and it crashed down just in front of us.
I then start leading Goobert and Wrench around the battle site, to see what we could find...

Oh man... (I say. Mila and Niles are lost? In the woods with some whacko who knows where? This is getting intense. I nervously yank on my antennae a little as I start to follow Marlon.)
Nori group
Any time, kid! Now we just hafta figure out which way to go here! Should we get down to the flowers or look for somewhere up here? (Benji tells Dieter. Then he responds to Marlon.) Dang, we're havin' close calls all around, aren't we? Heh heh...But seriously, fellas, stay safe out there, okay?
(Then he goes back to responding to Eliot and Vassago again.) And you fellas?
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."A ping? Has one of the other teams found something? No, wait, it's a request for a status update. I send a ping back.
Status: I am currently tracking an unidentified psychic signature. Approx 30 meters from our current position, eastwards. Possibly the Target. My group is currently near to a abnormally large fir tree. Will attempt to send a second ping upon reaching the signature's location.
Ping sent, I return to studying the fir tree.
Those poor bastards won't know what hit 'em when the grey geese fly.The Giant Fir
(I look at the big-ass tree and fired a few small leaves at the bark.
It's almost too big to be an illusion, but considering the ground shifted from one, I can't really take the chance.)

I hope Mila and Niles are okay, though. This is a terrible place to get lost in. (I say to Wrench.)
Nori group
Gotcha, Vass! Let us know what ya find, okay? (Benji nods. He pauses the pinging for a moment to weigh his group's options. There's what looks like may be a cave not far from them, and the flower field at the bottom of the ledge.)
I think there might actually be a cave over there, but we could just as easily fly down to the flowers down there. Where do ya fellas think we should go? (He asks.)
(After doing this, he attempts to ping Eliot again.) You fellas doin' okay, Eliot? How's Lucy?
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."[Norigroup]
"Damnation, it seems we almost fell for the simple trick of fooling us in to walking off a cliff", Noriaki commented before responding to Benji, "It seems the shadows under the cliff behind us may be hiding something, although that patch of flowers below may also be a better place to land soon. I'm more partial to investigating the former, personally."
Mount Vert, By the River
{Benji, we're okay! Haven't been attacked...just some strange shit with a Dedenne or...whatever. We're at a creek, we got a path ahead of us...}
[I think for a second...the creek doesn't seem super deep, we could walk in it up the mountain if need be...of course, barring anything like a waterfall...I look up the path ahead of us with some wariness...if she had any plans for us, it'd probably be up that way...]
"...we may need to walk up through the creek..."
[Mila's saying she's lost in the channel. Or she's lost, in the channel. ...In the channel, she's saying—brain, I don't have time for this...and I don't care if this is all within a fraction of a second, it's an unnecessary tangent, and we really don't need those.] {Uhh...where'd you guys get to? I mean...who were you last with?}
[I think on what Jack and Lucy have said. I am feeling a bit parched myself...but on the other hand, there is the possibility, as Jack pointed out, that the water could be poisoned...and it wouldn't be so obvious as one would expect. I decide to telekineticly lift a glob of water out of the creek for...I dunno, analysis...]
"...well, if it is poisoned...I doubt it'd stay poisoned for long...besides, the river flowing would've diluted it. If it were a pond, I'd be worried, but...not here." [Knowing full well the risk involved, I bring the blob of water to my lips and purse them, sucking up some of the water.]
Fallo Ter, Onix Tunnel
Delara hears the commotion as well...she tenses up, this may be it. They fought them once today, even got a headstart...and now they're about to take the treasure. She pulls herself out from between Stellan's pillars and holds on to him for now, looking back the way they came.
"...if they could find a way to open the door...we could swoop in and subdue them...perhaps use one of them as a bargaining chip for the treasure."
Nori group
Okay, Eliot! We're comin' up on a cave or somethin'. We'll check back with ya later! (Benji says.)
Eliot group
Ooh, up through the creek...? (Lucy says, however, any further thoughts regarding the direction they'll go are interrupted by her watching in fascination as Eliot takes up a blob of water from the creek and drinks from it. She attempts to do the same thing by thinking about moving the water (" Water...up! Up, water, up!" she thinks) to no success. She opts to just drink from the creek the standard way by simply gathering water up in her paws.)

*Sammy also holds on, having never climbed off the Alolan Golem, before saying to Delara* That's not a bad idea, Del! I betcha they'll've melted that door down in no time...
Fallo Ter Entrance
*Sarah pulls the Tamato berry out of her duffel pack and says to Cam* Heads up... *before lightly tossing it to her. Sarah then asks Cam* ...going to try it here or wait a bit? Hmm... *after which she barely picks up very faint rumbling sound coming from Stellan's group, but since they're around a corner she doesn't yet know the source*
Woods, Great Fir (Grigori's Group)
*Tilly nods to Snaptooth, and mentions* Agartha's police force is stretched regardless. People tend to resort to vigilantism when it comes to something as intolerable as interfering with one's evolution... *her tangent is interrupted by what she feels* ...it seems we're approaching a sort of border, as the roots aren't impeding my travels as they once were...
*she then gives a good look at the fir, taking note of Grigori's actions. She remarks* Testing it, I presume? From where I'm planted, it feels real, but one can never be certain...

The air cools around Snaptooth as cold winds blow around him. Then a thought occurs to him and he unleashes the Icy Wind eastwards at where the thicket is clearing.
Snaptooth: Just making sure that isn't an illusion too.
Eliot's group
Jack is still uneasy.
Jack: Still don't want to take a sip of the water regardless of whether or not it's poisoned, the water probably isn't even clean as who knows what's in it. Could be bits of mud, debris, disease, among other things that aren't easily seen.
The League of Heroes

(I picked up the pace like Vassago advised, yet I kept it steady as not to trigger anything potentially deadly. The gator's story behind the scar did leave me some questions, but I decided not to speak to him about it.)
(Meanwhile, within the Garmid Forest at the island of Arcquall, a lone, but panicked Corphish knocked on the stone door of a derelict house. The slot of the door opened up and the guard looked at the guest. A few moments later, the door opened up to a seemingly empty hallway with a Dragalge in a cloak at the doorway. Without a single word, the Corphish scuttled to the dark living room. The room was austere, with bookshelves without half of their name sake, a couch that has weathered the years gone by, and a rug that surprisingly kept itself maintained. Hastily, the Corphish removed the rug to find a large trap door underneath it, leading to a ladder. The crustacean climbs down while the Dragalge shakes his head.) Guess everyone's in a big damn hurry these days.
(As soon he reaches the end of the ladder a long hallway stretches to another door, one made of steel. He rushed to the door and found that it was surprisingly unlocked. Beyond the portal, there is a stairwell and the Ruffian Pokemon went upwards to find two paths, one that led to the quarters and one that lead to a wooden door adorned with a poster. The poster had a portrait of a Carbominable and a Hitmonchan along with the title identifying the two, "Umberto "The Living Glacier" Granccio vs. Carl "The King" Kingston, Grudge match of the century!" The Corphish knocked on the door to see if anyone is here.)
(A somewhat deep voice spoke in an accent a human would call "Italian," with a rather agitated inflection.) Who is this?
(The Corphish, concerned with his tone, responded.) It's me, papa.
(The tone soon changed into one of delight.) Ah, Silvio! Come on in! (Silvio does so and finds his father on the fancy chair. He was currently smoking a cigar with it currently being in one of his claws, one of which was noticeably smaller than the other. He motioned his son to take a seat but he refused. The Corphish nervously spoke out.) So, you know about him?
(Umberto's jolly mood had soon faded away to agitation.) Yes... Why do you ask?
(Silvio tried to remain his composure when he answered.) I heard that he was headed for Nifhel.
(The room remained silent after a while. Umberto mulled over the the recent incident regarding that Clawitzer and how he betrayed them. He thought about how to get rid of him until he decided to let the mountain range do the job for him. Assuming Silvio wasn't misled of course.) Where did you get this information from?
(Silvio was practically sweating.) I got it from that couple from that port town...
(Umberto spoke solemnly, almost threateningly.) Which. One? (Silvio stammered before his father let out a hearty laugh.) Hah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Ah, take your time. No need to be afraid. So long as you don't do what he did, of course. (Silvio nervously laughed as he started to gather his thoughts. He just hoped it would be enough to nab that son of a bitch before he blows his whistle.)
