Sorry about that Fin. I'm also sorry that I didn't sock Eliot in the face during today's dinner. But three things stopped me. Firstly, one Hell of a Pawsho cobbler. Secondly, that little tyke Lucy wasn't gonna pay me any favors if I beat another of her role models. And thirdly, you really shouldn't have just gone and shared that Jani told you the secret.
HuzzahMila can't help but feel a little invisible, with the mention of Jani's secret, but she doesn't say anything. Instead, she retreats somewhat and sits down on the bed, trying to take in the room. There's a window on the far side that seems to overlook a narrow road by the house (not every side could have a sea view, naturally) and a mirror opposite the bed. The light seemed to mostly stream in from the window, though in the corner she notices a holder for a candle, though the one inside wasn't lit. It was somewhat small, but considering how many people were being hosted here she was just glad that it was only the two of them in this room.
I need to update these things more often"I didn't even let anything out before Eliot came after me, there was only so much I could do from there... look man. I know at this point I'm completely irredeemable. Maybe things'll get better when we meet my parents one day, but..."
Shit, that's right!
"MILA! You have to meet my parents sometime!" She shouts, suddenly turning around and facing her.
I'm Huney B now. Okay?PJ: "Well, Jani's AWOL, the Diglett sisters are freaking out, Eliot was quite aggressively grilling Finley about it, and I don't have a dick. At least one of those details is completely unrelated to the matter at hand and I now regret saying anything about it, but I digress. How're you holding up now?"
(WHY THE HELL DID I SAY THAT?)
(Whatever, he was gonna find out sooner or later. I've got bigger fish to fry anyway.)
*I scan the streets, trying to guess where Eliot might have gone. I hold out my hand, still crackling with electricity, using is as a light as dusk fades into night.*
PJ: "Also, question: where would El have gone, do you think? Some sorta plaza? What direction would that be in?"
Are you ready? Go live!"Oh! Right, right. I guess... that'd make me a princess as well? Or maybe just consort? I'm sure they'll know what my job and title is supposed to be. If they can get over the fact that, well, I'm not exactly the standard. Not royalty, lesbian, and human, all in one package, huh?"
Mila is slightly startled by Finley shouting her name, but she quickly composes herself and gets up off of the bed. It feels a bit odd, thinking about royalty in this way. Maybe it's because back home there really wasn't much left, but either way she's both slightly excited and terrified by the thought of meeting the family as it were. Would she be expected to know their customs? Really, that should be the least of her problems right now, but her mind won't let up.
I need to update these things more often-Milo is just observing this transformation and secret drama confused, and wanders toward Marlon-
-Or anyone else who will have him, really-

Purrloin Jani by shrubBird
Gleamscape Streets
I mean, I kinda don't wanna know why I... *Lilly stops herself short...she realizes they both need a distraction. As they head in the direction of the lights, they pass a number of various insert here concession stands* These all look nice...d'ya want anythin', Lucy?
Dojo
*after reflecting on everything she's been through, and where she wants to go from here, Jani has her answer*
I know I probably seem like some weird vagrant who just became your problem... *Jani sighs, kind of embarrassed describing herself that way* ...but, I have friends waiting for me. Things are...complicated, and well... *all that thinking and she's still struggling with the words*
I can't explain it here, but I don't know how to fight like this... *she stands up on her hind legs for the first time...surprised how easy it is for a Purrloin, but puts that in the back of her mind as she continues* ...we travel, and we get into trouble — though trouble seeks us, and well...
*with a sincere, worried expression on her face, Jani leans in (forgetting she can do mannerisms with her arms) and declares* I want to help protect my friends — just like they've protected me! Our mission...it's important on so many levels.
*picking this up from anime, Jani then prostrates herself as she brings it home* Please teach me to be able to defend them!
*impressed, the Pangoro remarks, briefly with a facade of the raised chin, looking down upon the tiny Purrloin* So, these friends of yours...that isn't another lie, is it? It's not, sensei! And you would do anything, even risk your life for these friends? I would, sensei!
*the Pangoro sighs, and remarks* Get up, miss... *to which Jani does, standing bipedally once more...it's amazing how natural this feels to her* That's precisely the purpose of this dojo — to train those with a purpose in life. With someone, or something, to protect.
*looking down upon the almost-smiling Purrloin, Mitsu Kata remarks* Your training starts now!
*of course, it helped that Jani knows the word "bougyo" means "defense" — there was a tad bit of deception in her performance*
Current WHABP alts: Jani (Sarah) the Purrloin, Hudson the Togetic. Tilly/Lilly (Digletts) are being Put on a Bus.Ooh...can we get ice cream? (Lucy asks Lilly.)
Well, suit yourself, then. (Renata says, nodding at Lars.) If you do change your mind, I live in the yellow house with the green roof in the western side of town.

"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Lisa is about to say something, but then is interrupted, as Lucas is led away. Unsure whether to follow or stay behind, she merely trails behind them silently at a respectable distance.
"Hey what's up bitch," Sushi says, sneaking up behind Nyquil.

she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monster*I look to Dana, noticing Niles as well. I suppose four people isn't too much of a crowd, right?*
PJ: "Dana, Ny, what's up? We're looking for Eliot. Wanna watch me beat him up? Because I won't lie, I really want to right now."
*I then notice Sushi behind Niles, and... five people isn't too much of a crowd, right? Although once everything's settled, I guess this would give me a good chance to talk to Sushi. I think I overheard something this morning, and to be honest, I think we might have something in common.*

Are you ready? Go live!(Delilah and I head to our room and get ready to head to bed. Delilah looks up at me.) Goobert?
Yeah, Del? (I ask.)
I didn't tell you, but I did bump into my mother today...it was when I went to go get a drink. (Delilah says.)
Oh, you did? (I say.) How did that go?
Well...once Eliot and I explained...she was okay with me being a Dragonite. (Delilah answers.) I felt so relieved afterward...I also left my Garchompite with her since I threw her old one into the ocean.
Well, that's great! (I say.) And you pulled off talking to her without me there. Great job, Del!
Thank you, Goobert... (Delilah chuckles.)
(Marsha stays with Marlon and bumps into Milo with him.) Heya, Digs.
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here.""...if I say yes, would you buy something?"
[I groan and wave off the hatted Swadloon, walking away from her shop...that's the third time I've gotten a negative on someone else seeing Jani...there's not many other stores around here that are still open...hell, I don't even know if I should be asking any of these shopkeepers if they'd seen her...]
[...I stop for a moment: she would've had to have popped up somewhere else...maybe try and look for a hole? I start doing that, walking along again...]

(I just shrug and get up as well, offering Marsha my hand before we go there. With everything that's been happening, and the tells....hmm....)
