Granblue Fantasy

Interesting parallels between the Eternals and the Evokers beyond the obvious different methods of recruitment (weapons and summons):

• Eternals seek to maintain the peaceful status quo and generally work together as a group to stop any wrongdoers, Evokers all have individual agendas to disrupt the world for the sake of their own ideals
• Fif -> Caim, both child prodigies, former incredibly innocent and trusts everyone she meets, the latter incredibly cynical and pretty much only trusts himself.
• Feower, Tien -> Katzeria, Haaselia, twins who are most involved with other groups, Haaselia is the only one who loathes their sibling, machinations have resulted in the Harvin twins losing almost everyone they love as they pursue revenge while the Erune twins manage to protect Stardust Town.
• Seox -> Nier, Erunes influenced heavily by their clan's upbringing and both murdered their clans because of their family's implicit loathing of their existence, Seox moved on from his clan because he realized the consequences of his actions, Nier doubled down and is trying to live up to her family's ideal.
• Anre -> Estarriola, Anre is a pacifist and has grand ideals, Estarriola invokes Temperance to get violent revenge for personal reasons
• Niyon -> Alanaan, the most empathetic but Alanaan starts to spiral into criminal acts after his crisis of faith while Niyon gets a grip on herself and learns to master her emotion powers
• Tweyen -> Fraux, both becoming distant from their home village for their abilities, Tweyen finds love and support from the Eternals, Silva's family, and even the villagers eventually accept her, Fraux has none of this and is driven to burn her village to the ground.
• Threo -> Lobelia, the former's idea of violence and conflict is very animalistic in nature as she subscribes to the strongest simply taking out their opponents, Lobelia's idea of violence is much more human as he revels in the indiscriminate pain he causes, wanting to record it all for posterity.
• Seofon -> Maria Theresa, both are purveyors of a certain field, (swords and art), both have a cheery facade but Maria Theresa maintains it for much darker reasons, a bit weak but eh
• Eahta -> Geisenborger, both Draphs centered around war but Eahta seeks to improve himself and subsequently seeks battle to do so, while Geisenborger no longer cares about battle as it no longer has meaning and didn't feel the need to improve because of his prowess

Also, someone on Twitter is insisting that the Oracles' names are anagrams of the Eternals', but that's pretty clear bullshit, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

Man I really hope Cygames opens up about its internal localization team someday because I'm really curious about how the lyrics for Parade's Lust got written especially since Fukuhara talked about how they had to carefully check how far they go with Belial's stuff.

Hopefully the soundtrack booklet has some notes from Narita on this.

I was reading up on ROB!Lucifer's story and honestly the Lucilius-Lucifer-Lucio mess comes off as way less convoluted.

Miguel is the reason ROB!Lucifer is fallen because Arbiter is an a-hole.

The convolution mostly boils down to Pasha constantly abusing time travel to find the world-ending crisis so there are like a whole bunch of diverging versions of Lucifer because they kept going back to do stuff.

Granblue manga is now licensed, hoping this is a stepping stone for the LN which sounds more interesting (all I know is that it has job-changing on the fly for Gran which I am incredibly curious to see how that works out and some side-stories not in the game canon)

@Nouct: Look up the Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers trailer; it involves job-changing in combat. There might be some spoilers if you're familiar with the world, but not too many as long as you don't watch the extended trailer.

The White Day lines this year are pretty amazing and super happy that Nezahulapili got his own special portrait, but Lobelia's gift/convo is Y I K E S.

Got Nekomancer unlocked, but no clue what to use as a mainhand weapon for it besides Atma staff

And Astaroth is a slog to grind so I'm not really going to craft Lunatic Broom anytime soon

I was under the impression that nekomancer's only good with the broom.

Astaroth farming wasn't too bad when I went for kengo's ccw. ~10 runs will get you what you need.

Got Wind!Yuel from yesterday's draw, her Fate Episodes are indeed very very gay, especially the ending bit. Slotting her in a preliminary Atma Sword team of her, Lecia, and Lancelot because I haven't really done much with Berserker or Windhose as mainhand so this seems like a fun comp to test out.

Belial's weapon dream takes place after Paradise Lost so no answer to what happened to him after 000.

Arkab (the new Xeno Sagi weapon)'s unique skill is, if I'm reading this right, automatic party triple attacking if chain burst of 4+, seems like it'll go super well with Luchador's Tag Team for meme battles.

Sure does feel good to be bodying Xeno Sagi to the point where I can solo the raid. Last run back in September I still had a half SR grid and was barely surviving Extreme.
