Sawaki x Rizu is very much not a thing. Some people might wish it was, but that not makes it so.

You really want her end alone, ignoring her sole love interest...

It is legitimately true that Rizu has a higher chance of ending up with Sawako (even if only as roommates or coworkers) than she does with Yuiga.

If you stretch the definition of "ending up" that far, then sure.

Anyway, I have to say, as much as I like Sawako, Rizu could use some focus chapters without her around, because Sawako kinda overshadows her, and this chapter is no different.

I mean Rizu isn't interesting enough to hold a chapter on her own so she kind of needs Sawako or any of the other girls to be interesting.

Yeah, seriously. When was the last time Rizu actually carried a chapter on her personality? There always needs to be some dumb gimmick like hypnosis or an animated skeleton to keep her stuff from being pure fanservice if Sekijou isn't there.

It's weird that Rizu has become the Cloud Cuckoo Lander of the series when she seemed like the most serious character originally… It increases her comedic potential for sure, but yeah, it kinda impedes her plot-relevance.

New chapter. So Fumino finally learn that it was Nariyuki who kissed her during the culture festival. I kinda forgot about that.

I can't help but laugh at how casually Ashumi spilled the beans.

So yeah, that was cute. The author is no longer even trying to pretend Furuhashi won't be the winner, is he…

Fumino was super adorable. She always is, especially when she panics.

I like how much effort the artist puts in her makeovers. It may be a small thing, but it's nice that she dosen't always look the same.

I think he basically stopped pretending a long time ago already.

if it was any other character than the sensei, i would have presumed that kirisu was the one who'd end up with nariyuki because of how much fucking screentime she gets.

Well, she the most popular character in this manga. But it still annoy to know she have no chance to win. It just like when Nisekoi keep having Tsugumi chapter even if she have no chance of winning. I like Tsugumi, but why keep doing something so pointless....

Just because she has no chance of winning doesn't mean having her around is pointless. Having her show up not only provides fanservice for the fans in multiple ways (actual fanservice, appearing for those who are fans of her, shiptease - even if it won't go anywhere - for shippers, etc.) but it helps develop her as a character in the shortterm and enchances her relationship with Yuiga in the longrun, which is important since Yuiga plans to be a teacher and having her as a friend/potential mentor will be very helpful for him in the future.

Sure it's probably mostly for fanservice but that doesnn't mean it's pointless.

I wonder about that. Sensei has only contender, Uruka and I think she could win over her...

Come on, we all know that the Fumino route is so obvious as to be inevitable.

If she didn't wasted her papa issues arc, I think she still had some chance to catch up, alas...
