More that when the manga started they felt a bit too typical & plain to be lead men.

Taiju is the literal hard-head dumbass ya see a lot in shonen while Yuzihira is very soft & low-key.

Sanku was always the more entertaining character after all.

Lets see how they fair now.

It's not quite what they were going for, but it did work out in the end.

Nicky seems kinda buff too, but that makes sense since she's probably a strong athlete which is what Tsukasa was looking for in the first place.

Also, Taiju's willingness to stand there and take a beating actually served them well...and Yuzuriha is not dumb (she caught on to the plan right away).

Well yeah, Yuzuriha has to compensate for her partner.

Anyway, I found myself liking Nicky a surprising lot. It helps that she's a bonafide buff girl, which aren't really that common in manga (or in real life for that matter).

PS: So, Ryuu-san is the Acid Girl, huh. I like that Tsukasa's reaction to his 12th place is just a murder face.

Chrome lets himself be caught to let Magma escape, and now Senku plans to build a car of all things.

The first half of the chap was a bit confusing, as if pages were missing… Good call on Chrome's part though.

The one I read was in the wrong order, so the "Chrome is dead" fakeout fell flat.

It's wonderful, the trust everyone has in Chrome.

If Chrome wanted to impress the Tsukasans, he should have led with antibiotics. Although Tsukasa might have pointed out that they won't work forever. ...To which Senku would say that we can easily buy 70 years and promise to find another option by then.

I was able to show my dad this chapter. He was more than happy to explain how the piston was making the engine work, although it would be more efficient to make two pistons and have one on either side. The beeswax cast was a good idea, but adding an extra step to make a wood cast would provide a re-useable frame. Then there's the Senku 1, which has no brakes or steering. Perfect for off-roading!

Okay that "men are instinctively more into machines than women" was stupid as all fucking Hell.

I mean their cave-men, just literally a few months ago the most advanced piece of technology they had was a rock & a stick. They should be having the same level of shock & awe at seeing a self-moving object for the first time in their life.
