My guess is that dragon laguz will just work like ordinary manaketes. No reason to make things more confusing than necessary with multiple types of dragon weapons.

Alternatively, dragon laguz get dragon-type weapons that happen to have transformation effects on them like the beasts.
And other dragons can inherit them and become laguz.

Hm. That could work if they inherited the transformed map sprite. Which would probably necessitate inheriting the transformed battle sprite to match.
I kinda suspect they'll just give every laguz unit a prf so they can sidestep any inheritance issues altogether.
Side note, it's nice to find out that scythes count as axes in this game. They're kinda halfway between that and spears so I was never quite sure which way it was gonna go.
Id prefer Lance just cause Main enemies keep being GREEN.
I didnt see a repeating deal until now since Veronica, Surtr, and Hel are all Green. Even Thrasir is green just like Veronica cause genetics(?)

It should be noted that their stats aren't powercrept, and a significant amount of their power comes from inheritable skills. Frankly I prefer that to the rather dumb BST powercreep they've been doing with armors.

Also, Nailah's Atk seems to be 29, based on the damage she did and the extra damage from Moonbow. Which is... not half-decent, but still more than Fir I guess.
Actually, all of these units' stats seem awful. Tibarn has 31 spd despite having a kit that wants 0 spd, which makes his defensive stats pretty bad.

i read somewhere that they have a BST of 162 which is... something. i guess it's to be expected, but this is going to be a disappointing introduction to beast units if they're this mediocre
we'll see how the meta develops with them, i suppose

Lucky me, got a better New Year's Camilla.
My previous one was -Attack, +Speed, while this one is -HP, +Speed. Went ahead and merged her to the latter, also slapped Renewal and Bonfire on her since that's what a lot of people's builds recommend.

Update's out. Julia and Deidre null adaptive damage(though Julia is dragons only), with Julia getting CC and wrathful counter and Deirdre getting stat boosts for higher res. Tailtiu got wrath in a tome + darting blow(apparently this matches with mjolnir's tome effect?). And finally...Seliph got Atk/Def bond and Miracle.
Gee, I wonder which one is underwhelming.

Miracle is actually pretty good imo, if it's not taking a Special slot. It lets you do some truly stupid things, especially since you don't have to charge it up. It's like a hard counter to a lot of mages if you give him DC.
