No that's completely fair, but there's so many times I can hear the same complaint. Especially the ones that threaten to quit the game

Yes, you'll start seeing the problem if you try to break into the upper tiers of game play. +10 super armours with super whaled skills make a huge difference. The units aren't infallible, but it's pretty easy mode compared to running the budget trio of Draug, Sheena and Gwendolyn.

In regards to the new refines, after the previous patch dataminers found tags for skills which had not yet been implemented, including one labeled "Triangle." According to its description, it would add some number to all stats (all numbers are left as variables in the description) and make the unit hit twice (brave effect, not just a free follow-up) if there are at least *some number* of nearby allies.

This is almost certainly going to be added to the new prf weapons for each of the Whitewings.

So, just wanted to ask out of curiosity, when do you guys think we'll get the next announcement for new Heroes?

The Fire & Ice Banner ends the 10th, so either Thursday or Friday.

It's really anyone's guess without a full December calendar.

Fire and Ice's final day is Dec 11, so we're probably looking at a new video on Dec 10 with the new Xmas units having their banner pop up on Dec 12.

EDIT: Misread the Gamepedia notation, so the last day is Dec 10, putting the video on Dec 9 and the new banner on Dec 11.

Awakening.

My guess would be that they do a flip of last year's seasonal double feature, with Fates representing Xmas and Awakening representing New Year. They may also do a 3/1 split for Fates or Awakening versus a nominal rep from another game. Since Radiant Dawn is coming up pretty quick, it's unlikely the token rep will be from Tellius. I'm thinking they'll probably play it safe and run Hector/Lyn/Celica alts.

I'm honestly gonna say Binding Blade. I can see Christmas Alts for Roy, Shanna, Lilina, Klein, Sophia, Fae, and/or even Old Man Karel.

I'd also be skeptical of Binding Blade with the mention of the banner in March. If Binding Blade was going to be part of the seasonal banner, I'd think they'd have pointed to that over March.

Decided to go ahead and promote my +Defense Sakura, likely going to go ahead and promote Robin as well in anticipation of his upcoming refinery update.

This but unironically. RD and Binding Blade getting banners so late effectively neuters their chances of seasonals. Arachanea also has a shot because of Gharnef and the Refine update, but...

If Adrit is any indication, I believe this too. Their profits are down compared to this time last year.

Archanea was actually going to be my other guess. I was originally going to say that both those games and the Elibe games would be the focus of the Christmas Event this year, due to Marth and Roy's popularity.

Christmas Judgral and New Year's Valentia.

...Christmas Anna, really leaning into the commercialization of Christmas.

Santa Reinhardt, but he's a green brave tome unit now.

So, AR in the higher tiers have effectively put life back into my +RES Cecilia.

It's goddamn funny and cathartic for my L!Ike with Def and Res Tactic allowing her to tank and/or one-shot every meta Blue and Colorless meta threat.

Gravity Elise and Micaiah taking care of everything else is even sweeter insurance.

He will be the first beast unit before any actual canon beast units.

Remember, Book 3 comes out this month. They can't start Book 3 with seasonals.

Where there's a will and an armored Christmas Nowi to sell, there's a way.

I was going to say that we'll get Reindeer Dorcas, but we already got a Dorcas Alt for Halloween.

Book III Paralogue 1 - Grinch!Loki tries to ruin Christmas, killing the light.

I do remember that there was bit of a delay between Book II release and the banner for the new units.

Turns out Sharena was crying out in horror for the Christmas presents Loki stole, and Loki's comment about "The Reaper's Scythe" was referring to her Christmas Spirit.
