Yeah. Case in point, I was using a +0 +Spd/-Atk Surtr as my main AR tank for a very long time (he still spearheads my Light season if I need a mega tank, though anti-mega-tank setups are so common these days that I tend to default to my Vantage sets) and between Sinmara and liberal Bonfire procs, there was only maybe 2-3 times where that -Atk made him miss a kill in a way that couldn't be covered by Eir.
Meanwhile, Surtr's potential as a +Def is kind of absurd. I've fought enough +10 +Def Surtrs with full flowers and Close Defense 3 Seal to know he can easily cause Armorsmasher+ units to have trouble killing him. A number of my AA reds run Axebreaker or TA because of him.
Speaking of merging, question: Is there a good time to merge? like is it optimal to merge to a fresh unit or to a unit who already hit 40? Or does it not matter?

If we're speaking strictly level-wise and you've got time to kill, you can level the unit you're going to merge to level 30 or 40, utilize the SP gained to learn stuff, then merge to your base unit. The base unit will benefit from whatever skills the merge had learned. Otherwise, it doesn't matter.
Here's a pic on Reddit Detailing Tiki and her evolutions
WOO! I got two dancer Reinhardt, and one of them was + Attack, now i have one Dancer Reinhardt with + Attack, and no flaw. He's going to be a broken mess isn't he?
I'm curious if people agree on how accessible FEH has become regarding this reddit post.
The update says, "The number of Røkkr that appear in each battle has been changed to 2." Does that mean each round only has two Røkkr that can be fought separately, or do we have to fight 2 Røkkr at the same time now?
You can really tell when the devs just hate you.
Astram's Infernal formation is already decently formidable thanks to the Thief with The Cleaner and first turn special cheats, but they had to resort to Asshole Reinforcement spam on top of that.

On the other hand, you can tell how much more the other players hate you when a Nino built to be a high-end AR sweeper trivializes it.
Were her boots on the ground or did she fly high in the sky, by any chance?
Boots on the ground. I converted my +10 original Nino to a CC-Vantage sweeper because some of those defenses get ugly in a way that makes Abyssal look tame.

Pulling off a successful Vantage sweep when the enemy has Firesweep L!Ryoma and HB Ophelia feels good.
Took over two years, but they've finally fully pulled off a big crossover event in this crossover game. So proud of IS. They've grown so much.
Nah's Rokkr damage reward was easy thanks to L!Tiki, but Ephraim wasn't going well till I found and copied the Brave Bow strategy. Had to spend a lot of time building up my other dancers, but I got it at my last shot.
A built Cherche and Reyson team can also do it, though Cherche will need to inherit Guard 2, Astra and Triangle Adept 3 (2 might be doable).
I just spam dragons with Sad Tiki. Special Fighter Aether kind of defangs this mode. Plus getting max scores rewards is super easy. I never seem to use most of my axes.
Edit: Wait there's a reward for doing 150,000 in one fight? Never knew that.
Edited by Karxrida on Sep 25th 2019 at 9:40:39 AM
Yeah, they added bonuses for getting 150k in a single fight per weapon type, so last round had a dragonstone and a lance reward. They're basically just a bunch of flaming (non-animated) eye patches, though.
EDIT: Tobin was super easy. A 5* Cordelia doesn't even need that much work to be ready (though a +0 will need some extra help from her supports). Gunnthra was a huge pain, though. Ended up pinning her in a corner with Valentines Ike and Caeda. Caeda needed TA3. I also had her with Astra, but hit 175k with that, so might have been overkill enough that Glimmer could work. It's kinda funny how fast Glimmer outruns the usual mainstays of Iceberg/Luna here, since she was doing 71x2 (making Glimmer a little over 50% more effective than Iceberg).

Since nobody else seems to have mentioned it I'd like to register my sincere appreciation that Sirius's Forging Bonds storyline is about Alfonse's inability to recognize horsemen with masks on. Oh, you clueless nerd.
I also enjoy that we've got a rapier that no lord will ever be able to use.
I thought that was hilarious.
Not long till we get Veronica Emblem without Veronica.
I should probably get back into this game... I feel like I have some good units, and I just drew Nagi recently too. Any tips? Should I just follow the whole "Path of Heroes" thing for the most part?
Obviously we'll get Veronica once she dies horribly in the story.
Worked for Gunnthra, Laegjarn, Helbindi, Surtr, and now Thrasir.
It's certainly a good idea to give Path of Heroes a look, because it's bennies - including orbs and five-star units - for stuff you've probably done half of already.

Dammit, I do not have the orb stockpile I need to pull for her!
Come on, that's just not fair.
I'm not even sure who on my Veronica/Ylgr team to replace, though, since I've already got two greens on it.
x5 It is inevitable. I mean, look at this banner: green is already 2/3s Veronica. There's no stopping her.
x4 If you want Dragon Flower in decent quantity, start on Aether Raids now. It's very (re-)entry unfriendly thanks to Fort levels, but it's also where the bulk of the resource comes from. Your Nagi is going to help you a lot here. Work on getting a second Eir and possibly two Nagas.
Oh, wait, no, not Nagi, since that's apparently a different unit. I mean Naga, the dragon goddess.
