...I didn't find 9-5 that hard.
Tho I had high level Odin, who as a Blue Mage utterly wrecks Xander, and Niles, who just eats any and all mages for breakfast, even Veronica.

Bewitching EyesMy current team is basically my best units. 4-star F!Corrin, 5-star M!Robin, 4-star Merric and 4-Star M!Corrin. I've got a 4-Star Nowi that's generally been better than M!Corrin, but I needed a red really badly, so I swapped them. M!Robin also replaced a 4-star Shanna who I'd been using for a while, but she kinda just sat around half the time because she was too fragile. She also failed in her mage killing duty against 9-5. I had the misfortune to approach that the first time a the mostly blue team. It's usually okay, because Merric can out-duel other green mages, but that doesn't work against the big, fat stat block of a boss. Funnily enough, M!Robin was the one to kill her despite being blue thanks to massive proc damage after F!Corrin applied Seal Res.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiSo, I'll stop trying the reroll thing on my phone. After 45 pulls I had yet to see a 5* hero, and I assumed getting a 5* right off the bat was the point. Enough time wasted.
On the other hand, the latest pull on my original version of the game handed me Chrom, and since Sakura keeps getting 3 to 5 stats bonuses every level she takes recently, I assume I'll eventually be able to get a nice team.
I also got Saizo-4, but I think that in 10 levels gained I already saw him gain 0 or 1 stat bonuses five times, which is a horrendous rate. Only once did I get his "satisfied" line (for a 4/5).
On that note, the useless info of the day: Selena still thinks it's "not good enough for her" when she gets a 5/5 when levelling up.

I almost used one. Pride wanted me not to. I strongly considered it and made a move that would put me in a position to maybe squeeze the most possible use out of it. Then stupid Auto-End made the choice for me. I've since turned it off, but I've never had a situation where I've needed to use it.
The unfortunateness of a measly 7% chance. If orbs weren't so limited, this re-installing would probably be less of a viable strat.
Well, Severa/Selena is the poster girl for impossible standards (right next to her mom).
PSA: remember that you have Nintendo Points if you linked up an account. I did a dumb and used an orb to restore my Arena uses for this season in order to finish my 7-win chain when I could have just bought a Dueling Crest and had a lower opportunity cost. Ah, well, it was still worth bumping my score over 3000 so that between that and my Defense, I get 2000 feathers. Only 9 more weeks of that to upgrade a single 4-star! <.< >.> V_V
Speaking of Arena, it's obnoxious how the system pulls teams with 3-4x 5-stars for Intermediate. Even though it grabs opponents 3-4 levels lower for me (guessing because I'm just a 5-star and 3x 4-stars), their stats are often higher than mine in every way. On top of that, the popularity of Lucina means having a Falchion time bomb charging straight at my Corrins (Stahl is starting to look a little better as part of a back-up team, but his inability to go into bushes is really annoying). Thankfully, the AI is really dumb and doesn't know how to really utilize her (and a good blue mage like M!Robin horribly maims her, though generally can't one-shot).

FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI considered that, though none of my 3-stars have really stood out to me. Olivia and Clarine don't strike me as units that will get much more durable, nor become strong combat units. There's a few with skill sets I might be interested in, but not 2000-feathers interested. At least, not when Hard 9 and Lunatic 7 are starting to out-stat my 4-stars of equal level to the point where not having weapon advantage and being countered/attacked is devastating (my tanky F!Corrin lost almost half her health in one exchange against another blue enemy, while only dealing maybe 1/4 back; even with advantage, I find I end up taking more back then I really should). I guess trading multiple kills can be a thing, but that never feels right in a Fire Emblem—even one built around innate Casual. Just losing one unit makes me feel bad.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiThe best 3 stars I have is Olivia, by the sheer virtue of being a lancer.
Continue writing our story of peace.Do you mean Azura? Unless you've got some sort of weird bug going on, I'm pretty sure Olivia is a sword user (at least, mine is
).
I think the 3-stars I'd be most interested in upgrading would be Sully, Bartre and Arthur. Maybe Niles for anti-magic, though I'd have to see what his 3-star Res looks like at high levels first. Shanna was supposed to be a good mage killer, but 20-ish Res just ain't cutting it when the enemy brings nearly 35 Attack (and rising...). Alas for them.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiJust started playing.quite an adjective little game. I apparently got quite lucky with a 5* hero in my first summon, along with 3 4*. Quite the power team right off the bat.
I am not sure I understand how Arena works. For starter, what do the difficulty levels mean exactly? First time I fought in hard I menaged to win, but the second time I got completely destroyed with no chance at all. Hows does that scale? Also, how is defense? Apparently my team have yet to defend, but how does the game choose which team is anyway? Is it the last one to fight in arena?

Beginner picks teams with 1-2x 5-star characters. Intermediate picks 3-4. Haven't tried Advanced, but they're probably all 5-star or 5-star+. It seems to pick teams at a lower level, but that might be it adjusting downward if you're at a star disadvantage.
The game randomly chooses teams on record for Defense. The team it chooses is the one place in your left-most slot (in Edit Teams, there should be 5 pips with a lit one indicating which team you're currently editing).
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiFor the most part, any 3* character I'd want to upgrade I already have the 4* version of them. Prolly I'll just save my feathers for Niles or Odin, eventually.

And the level is balanced with my own, I assume? So the difference is only how many starts the opponent has? Seems weird I was having an easy time on intermediary, then, as I only have a single 5* character.
Also, you can go abouve 5*?
As for defense, good thing I keep my main team on that slot, then.

No, not above 5 stars, but there's a way to be slightly better. I think it's through Merging? At least, I've noticed some enemies I face will be a 5-star, then have their level notated as LV29+.
And I believe the priority is stars, then levels. I've consistently faced 3-4x 5-star characters in Intermediate with my measly single 5-star + 3x 4-star team, but their level will be a bit lower, likely to compensate. Of course, being 5-star characters, they're 4 levels lower and still have higher stats than all my 4-stars. I don't plan to tackle Advanced until I've got at least one more 5-star, if not a full team of them.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiApparently there is a tier list. I personally find it rather unprofessional.
Continue writing our story of peace.Merging 2 five-stars characters gives you a 5+ indeed, I tried that with my Sakuras and now there is a blue halo around her head and her level is "25+". It also gave him a "free level-up"...but basically it just means 2 or 3 eval over what a regular five would be.

I thought it was just 20 greater badges.
