I.e. what happened to Anthem.
Tbh I think the game needs a full relaunch with more content (and actual bosses that are marvel villains beyond Modok, Taskmaster and abomination) ala FF XIV releam reborn.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."As someone who still has a hate-boner going for Marvel & maybe I should take some rejoice that this game failed to meet expectations, but it still sounds like there's a game worth saving & I rather have a good comic-book game than a bad one. Sounds like an easy way to win the crowd would be just severely downplaying the microtransactions.
Again .
Think about it.
Use maybe a dozen more marvel villains that aren't of super high standing that would be fun to fought against.
Moonstone, Bullseye, the hood, count nefaria, etc.
Like with say arkham. It gives the game some fun fights against varied opponents and replaybility in a way that random AIM robots just wouldn't.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Yeah the Guardians of the Galaxy game looks legit fun. Like an extra snarky Mass Effect.
And it has Lady Hellbender! I knew Marvel was pulling more and more of their D-list characters into the spotlight but I still never expected to see her in anything mainstream.
You are not alone. It's funny, Hulk is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable superheroes & he always seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to these video game adaptions.
In that angle, he kinda does.
Until I can actually meet someone who knows Major Victory I'm not seeing these Guardians anymore offensive than the Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. And I still saw some more obscure characters in the trailer.
Everyone just wants another The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Sort of like how Spider Man 2 was the gold standard for web swinging for forever.

As much fun as Quasar or Adam Warlock would be I'm fairly certain the core Guardians of the Galaxy has been established for many years to come, and it's the one we're getting.
I'm not complaining myself. It's a good team.
You are not alone.I’m of the mind it has too many redundancies. Barring Groot they are all either gun and sword guys. Quill and Rocket while Gamora and Drax are sword/gun guys with the latter 2 being rather interchangeable ability-wise which was rather evident by their portrayal in Ultimate Alliance 3.
Plus they always just repeat the same jokes from the movies like Drax not understanding metaphors. They never do anything new with this team.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hate to say this, but it seems for the developers, trying to one-up what James Gunn established in his movies might as well be like reinventing the wheel, kinda impossible to top?
I mean, if what you're saying is you want them to, I don't know, throw in elements from the GOTG run by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning like uniforms for Star-Lord and Rocket or having Quasar and Adam Warlock in the roster, then you (and by proxy, we) might be out of luck? Normies might see it and be all "Hey, how come Star-Lord doesn't have his bitchin' red jacket? Where's this blue uniform BS come from?" (Mind you, this is me trying to analyze this through the dev team's train of thought.)
I want to like the game and what it's trying to accomplish, but combing a lot of the details we got so far is kinda bumming me out.
(Side note: anyone notice how Star-Lord's jacket has a button with a Space Invader on it? Cool detail because this is coming from SE and they own Space Invaders.)

Is it just me or do Gamora and Drax look a little Off-Model? He looks like he has a weird high collar thing and she has a weirdly pared own version of the Bendis/Pichelli suit.

Because people can't be expected to stay for a game if its a buggy mess and its much hyped new content takes too long to come out.
There are other things to do than waiting for a game to get good.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
