Unfortunately, this is not exactly the place to try to advertise R Ps to take place entirely away from our forums.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to put such a post, but I figured I'd put it here given those who peruse this part of the forums are into role playing.
I recently started up a Stargate RPG on Ongoing Worlds, it's a site that caters to PBP (play by post) games, and I'm a member of a few games there. Anyways, I got this crazy idea in my head to do this game a few years ago but never really did anything about it until now.
Here's a brief rundown of the game. It's set aboard the Destiny, the ship from Stargate Universe, but it's set in an "alternate timeline" where the player's characters are now in the place of the main cast. And on top of that, the entire plot of the show is basically out the window, aside from a few bits of lore I kept for consistency's sake. I wanted to do something that would encourage players to come up with some crazy new aliens and such for us to run into and join up with. Yes, that means you can come up with your own completely original alien races and have them join the crew!
