- Frame Arms Girl: Oh hey, battle dolls stuff. That should be fun. Don't reallymind the CG, just as long as the fights are... um... that's an awful lot of panty shots for a two-inch doll, there. Uh... how can you see panties from a top-down view...? The... the armour doesn't really cover it, does it? I think it somehow reveals them more. Uh...
- Granblue Fantasy: Seems decent enough so far. The lineart seemed... wonky as hell, but maybe I can just finally see that lowered bitrate people were freaking out about on Crunchyroll. I like how blatantly Final Fantasy the Bahamut was.
- Alice & Zouroku: Loving this one already. Alice is cute, and not ridiculously sheltered and naive, at least not to the extent I was expecting. Evil Facility Dude comes across as amicable enough to the kids, so points for not stooping to generic, obvious villainy there. Zouroku might be my favourite character though. Dude gives no fucks about your superpowers and just wants ya off his lawn. I like the talk he had with Alice at the park, though.

Frame Arms Girl had a super fun first episode. I don't actually mind CG battles here. This has some good potential.
BTW, I've made a thread
for Alice to Zouroku.

First episode impressions:
- Gin no Guardian: Passable.
- Sekai no Yami Zukan: It looks like pulp comics which is kinda cool, but also reads like pulp comics which elicits some snickers. Ehhh.
- Granblue Fantasy: Very typical RPG fantasy, but it looks soooo good. That A-1 sheen whets the appetite.
- Alice to Zouroku: You can count me in the people who got the opposite of what they expected. That is to say, there's quite a bit more darkness than expected. Which is pretty neat, especially with the weird imagination-realm those esper kids cooked up in some basement. I kind of wish we get more of that dark human experiment part, because the geezer is somewhat annoying.
- Frame Arms Girls: I hate stupidly short skirts. Why does her charging dock look like a kneeling man? The CGI isn't too terrible, but the choreography of the fights leave a lot to be desired. The human character is the best part of the show. She just doesn't give much of a crap until she learns about the potential moolah.

Speaking of Granblue, has anyone here played it? I tried once, but ended up getting distracted with schoolwork and other stuff I did in my free time and forgot about it.
Wasn't too bad. At the very least, the world of it was more realized than some others. Had their own race and everything.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Frame Arms Girls would be a lot better without the stupid fanservice. This was a pretty fun introduction, I liked the interaction between the Frame Arms Girl and her master, as well as the other two, the battle was decent, but it was all interspersed with panty shots.
Royal Tutor I bailed halfway through the first episode on, as it was just boring.
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records was eehhh.
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records was hilarious for just how much the title character sucks. Which is a lot.
Granblue Fantasy The Animation is just so JRPG. Mysterious girl falls from the sky and meets a naive, but kind hearted county bumpkin who immediately chooses to assist her in fleeing from an evil empire. And I love it, it's great.

Watched Akashic Records. First off, that part of the title is just there to look cool isn't it? Not fond of shows that do that. Second, Glenn wasn't too bad. His wacky movements are arguably what makes his otherwise despicable personality and behavior work. Still kind of boring to watch at times though. Third, the fuck is up with those female uniforms? It wasn't for Glenn actually being somewhat amusing to watch, I would just call this show generic LN crap off those uniforms alone.
Overall, I'm expecting this show to be a 3/5 stars kind of show. Not bad, but there's better stuff to watch.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash. All critics and reviewers are just people with an opinion. It's up to the individual whether or not those opinions matter to them, and to what extent they should matter to them if they care. No matter if they're a guy on a message board like here or someone who gets paid to give their opinion, it's all the same.
Sakura Quest: Pretty alright. Very PA Works, but that's not a bad thing
Sakurada Reset: Slow, talky series with weird, low-key characers. Kind of interesting but at the same time hard to care about. Probably give another episode
I ignore reviews for the most part as the general populace is full of uncultured swine, and professional reviewers care more about getting paid. Only opinions I gave a damn about are from forums like these and sites that aren't really mainstream.
And I can back up my claim about uncultured swine. I was on Netflix a few minutes ago and saw both seasons of Durarara had less than 3 stars while shit like Inuyasha and Vampire Knights had 4. And while the next show I'm going to mention isn't anime, it's fairly well known to be a terrible show, and somehow had 5 stars. And that show is Johnny Test.
Seriously, people have no taste. So ignore them.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Especially for the Love It or Hate It quality of anime. It's made up of literally every genre out there and most people will only like one or two genres.
This one people were probably expecting The Asterisk War instead of D Frag with a bit more action.

I don't care much about reviews or even previews because the only things I heard from the critics and bloggers about kids' anime is "Anime for kids. Not for me, so just skip it. No previews/reviews for you".
To date, the only proper reviews I got when it comes to such anime are Puzzle & Dragons X and Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On, with the former getting medicore scores and the latter getting bad score which I can't exactly disagree with. I hope that the Tomita car anime and Snack World won't suffer from the same problem.

It entirely depends on how they are defining 'kids anime' I mean there is a demographic of kids animes called Kodomomuke which I can understand previews not covering, not covering random X shonen series cause it looks kiddy however no.

IIRC in the Winter 2017 thread there was some discussion about the necessity of those index pages and they were deemed unnecessary?
