I'm feeling really cynical about the idea of another two-year campaign, run by Griffin, in which a trio of unremarkable (seeming) folks are recruited by a cool old lady to secretly thwart darkness monsters from another dimension using magic.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. You all should check out the new The The Adventure Zone Zone
. They talk about all the pilot arcs and it's really interesting.
The Adventure Zone Live in Dallas
. This one was fantastic. Petals to the Metal 2.0, now with Safety Harnesses!
Bombass cosplay idea: green body paint, overalls, a pick, and tusks
If someone asks what your cosplay is or ask you if you're dressed as adventure zone you say "well I don't think I should telll you, you're here to kill us and take my root beer barrels"

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.i radically misinterpreted a not insubstantial part of that arc

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Episode 10

Lunar Interlude!
The gang go skiing and eat some French Onion Soup.
Speaking of Season 2, music from the first two arcs of Amnesty (plus the pilots for Commitment, Dust, and Elementary) are now available on Bandcamp: The Beast & The Water
. I'll have to give it a listen once I'm caught up.
