-Red's attack seems to have opened an arterial vein as a gush of blood spurted out. However, the bleeding stops mere moments later, and the wound visibly starts to close by itself-

-That lump of flesh he holds is a gun, alright. A sphincter on its business end spits out a burst of three organic projectiles. Though slow-moving, these "bullets" are coated in fast-acting pathogens-

Viral status in Warframe temporarily cuts maximum health in half, which this gun has a 1/4 chance per shot to inflict.

Red pulled his lips back as blood spluttered outwards, and his jaws dropped as the wound started closing. Such was his shock that he couldn't get into the state of moving again, and neglected to dodge the incoming attack in time.

A yelp escaped his jaws as he attempted to turn tail and run, too slow. One of the bullets hit him in the hindquaters, and it was unlike any bullet he had even seen. He felt naseua settle in his stomach in seconds, and noted that the flesh where the bullet had hit was starting to darken. He could still move as well as before, however, and rolled away from the other projectiles.

A snarl twisted his face moments before he turned his snout upwards and howled. Howling Moon! An animal rage settled over his mind, more brave, more angry, and he lunged forward. This time he was fast enough to only be a red blur, and lunged out with his jaws to snap at the gun in the humanoid's hands in an attempt to disarm it.

-The weapon hits the ground with a heavy thud, along with a chunk of Nidus' arm. The size of this wound means that it takes a while until it stops bleeding, but he seems to retain full function of the limb-

-In response, Nidus draws a pair of equally disgusting sacs of flesh from his hip pocket, throwing them at the ground beneath Red. These sacs soon burst into a cloud of poisonous toxin that quickly covers the area they are fighting in-

Even as the beserk rage took a hold of Red, the nausea and gradual sickness wasn't fading, it was getting stronger. Drool splattered from his snout, mingled in a frothy red from the blood he managed to spill. Given how much sickness this thing radiated, he didn't fancy biting it again and risking another poison coursing through his body.

Speaking of poison. His eyes rolled down to note the fleshy sacs. He fought this thing long enough to know that it was dangerous, enough to hold his breath when a gas spewed out. A beast couldn't hold its breath forever though, and as he put distance between the humanoid and himself, he managed to gasp, taking in the poison. Now the nausea evolved, and he heaved dryly from further away, tail lashing in irritation. He could practically feel his body failing, and summoned his strength.

Father! Strength! I need it now more than ever! Please! And he let out a heartwrenching howl, a howl of longing and sadness. He was far from home, but the stars still replied to his plea. Beams of light erupted into existence from the sky, beams that exploded around the humanoid, some aimed directly at it.

Red needed not to attack once more, and dropped onto his chest, spent. If this didn't work, at least he knew he fought as bravely as his kind was expected to.

-The Warframe takes a stance just as he sees Red howling. He expected him to unleash a powerful desperation attack. What he didn't expect is the direction where the attack comes from. A failed dodge attempt left him at the mercy of the light explosions, one of which knocks him down, paving a way for the rest to bombard his chassis. Covered in grievous thermal wounds, even his regeneration system can't seem to keep up. His flesh would try to reassemble itself, only to stop and restart somewhere else. Other than this, there are no visible movement left from his limbs-

-ded?-

It worked, it really worked. Red dropped his head in between his paws, eyes drooping. His lungs burned, and he felt like throwing up, but whatever that thing was, it wasn't moving anymore. He had won.

The beast closed his eyes, content in his victory, even in the unknown landscape he had found himself in.

A portal opens, and an old man named Major Boothroyd fell out of it. He lands with a thud as the portal closes behind him.

Ugh, I knew that portal's not fully stable yet. I shouldn't have been so anxious.

The man, nicknamed Q, looks around his new surroundings.

Oh, this is new. Well, at least I brought some of my equipment with me, just in case. But now I have to find a way back to HQ.

A faint meowing can be heard from a nearby street. After awhile. A small cat-like living plant appears!

-Stray Cat enters the arena!-

A Saiyan vaguely similar in appearance to Vegeta, but with a grizzled, hardened look on his face, falls into the Arena.

He looks around the cityscape before pulling himself to his feet. "Oh, what now?"

A chorus of thunderous booms can be heard across the Arena as an almost-400 foot tall creature rampages across the land.

A long forked tail cracks like a whip, creating a deafening sonic boom that can be heard from almost anywhere.

Demon of the Galaxy

The Saiyan turns in the direction of the monster. "Holy fucking..."

He roars, letting his power rise up to the heavens as a beacon. His hair stands on end, his eyes turn yellow, and his body alights with sparks of green energy.

Then he charges it.

Yamoshi

The First Super Saiyan

Monster X notices the beacon of power and, despite being such a large beast, turns fast.

The sadistic alien lets loose a roar not unlike a big cat before barreling towards Yamoshi to meet him.

As it runs, a gravity beam is fired from the monster's eyes at the Saiyan.

Yamoshi is startled by the sudden turn, then the roar, and he gets sent flying by the gravity beam. He is quick to reconsider his original plan of attack.

"Okay, monster, let's see you handle THIS!"

He turns the dial straight up to Legendary Super Saiyan, an explosive pillar of sickly green energy erupting forth from him. Then he flies at Monster X with a fistful of Ki and attempts to slam his hand into its chest.

Monster X is fast but not that fast. It attempts to sidestep at the last moment and is met with a hearty punch to the chest, causing it to slow down a bit.

A growl leaves the monster's throat as its tail lashes out at Yamoshi.

Yamoshi gets an immediate large gash across his face, startling him. He can't sense energy, so the damage he takes from his enemy's attacks are all he has to go off of when it comes to matching its power.

He snarls at Monster X, clutching his face.

Then he throws the Ki in his hand, which very slowly expands into a gigantic sphere of explosive power centered on Monster X (Gigantic Meteor), before he backs off and powers up to Super Saiyan 2.

Monster X skids to a halt as it observes the ball of Ki, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

It decides that very slow balls of pure energy are not a good idea to mess with. It sidesteps the attack and continues to charge the Saiyan, attempting to kick the warrior with a giant claw-foot.

Yamoshi barely blocks the kick, but he takes a Knockback Slide through the air, scattering dust all around him.

He roars yet again as his eyebrows are absorbed and transferred into extra hair - he goes Super Saiyan 3.

"You managed to really, really push me. Now, I'm getting pumped."

Yamoshi moves at blinding speeds all around Monster X, before stopping directly above it and firing a Breaker Energy Wave (Angry Kamehameha, most games except Xenoverse called it even though it has nothing to do with Kamehameha besides being a big energy wave) down at it.

Monster X attempts to track Yamoshi as he moves around the beast, only for it to get blasted with an Angry Kamehameha.

The energy wave pushes the alien down into the ground, scorching its bone-like exo-skeleton in the process.

It unleashes a roar before firing a multitude of gravity beams towards the Saiyan in retaliation.

Yamoshi retracts his hand and raises his guard against the gravity beams, being bruised and bombarded by them until there's an explosion.

Then he rushes out of the smoke for Monster X's tail, attempting to grab it by the tail, yank it into the air, and then smash headfirst into its back to slam it into the ground.

Monster X's tail is grabbed, is yanked into the air, and then slammed into the ground with a headbutt.

A portion of the exoskeleton cracks and falls from the alien's body. Another growl leaves its throat as it leaps into the air and attempts to grab the Saiyan and slam him into its knee.

Yamoshi screams in pain as he gets knee-combo'd into a distant building. Rubble pours down to the ground.

His tail, which had been tied around his waist, slips loose and hangs from his back limply.

Gazing on a moonlit sky, his eyes go from green-blue to red, and his heart begins pumping more and more fiercely and rapidly.

Monster X roars at the transforming warrior, more cracks beginning to form in its armor. As it roars, bits and pieces of exoskeleton begin to fly off.

It charges towards Yamoshi and attempts to shoulder bash the Saiyan through the building behind him.

Yamoshi's hands, now each bigger than his head had been, catch Monster X's charge. Deep yellow fur bristles over his body as he grows and his face elongates into a brutish snout. The building collapses around him as he gets bigger and bigger, until he stands on eye level with Monster X.

Yamoshi, now a Golden Great Ape, beats his chest furiously while letting out a guttural roar of his own.

If Monster X met Godzilla in the world it's from, this oughta bring back memories.

He fires a mouth energy wave at it.
