Axis assumes the Mobile Suit is dead and, despite being heavily damaged, turns his attention to Takane Yamashiro.

Axis throws an energy ball at Takane, sparks start flying out from Axis' exposed circuitry.

"...I should've gotten farther when the tinted window broke from those explosions...!" The yamawaro thought as she locked eyes with Axis before it turned its weapon on her, causing her to bail from the car quickly as it explodes behind her.

"You really want to get feisty, eh?! Consider that deal made!"

She whips back around to the robot, waving her right hand outward and sending forward medium-sized balls of white danmaku in Axis's direction alongside swerving leaf-shaped bullets that would swirl around and sweep wide, slowly closing in to her attacker as she continued to back away.

"I need a place to hide for now. Getting some distance from this psycho's gonna have to do."

Axis' single wheel is not good at dodging projectiles, some of the danmaku balls hit Axis' exposed circuits as well as causing his left arm to fall off

Axis stares at the remaining backup robot

DO SOMETHING. SHOOT HER.

Oh! Sorry, got it boss!

The backup robot fires bullets at Takane Yamashiro as Axis fires 3 half-sized energy balls at her with his remaining arm

She does another turn, this time running into a building.

-Takane is not alone in the building. An ominous red glow appears in the darkened halls, then a long, thin, yellow light. The Kampfer again — near-wrecked from the fall, with its armor falling apart and fluids leaking out of burst piping. On its right hand is a lit Beam Saber-

-Without warning, the mobile suit launches itself at her, sword-arm swinging, its thrusters blazing so brightly that they leave burning decor in its wake. With such a tight space, there is no room for lateral movement. The only direction they can go is toward or away from each other; a natural fit for one last Death or Glory Attack-

Axis appears on the other side of the hall and starts charging an energy ball to throw at her, fortunately it's charging at half speed due to him only having one arm left.

She quickly looks behind her just as the Kampfer appeared, noticing Axis. "Fuck, I'm pinned- wait!"

She rolls to her right just as the Kampfer passes her by, turns to face Axis, and draws out an Ability Card, the Moon of Madness, and waves it forward, spawning a small fake moon that cruises towards the other battered machine.

Take this!

Going to assume by "fake moon" you mean "not actually a celestial body" instead of "doesn't actually exist"

OH NO OH NO OH NO-

The moon hits Axis turning him into a pile of scrap, at the same time this happens the Backup Robot arrives

No! Axis! Wait... Does this mean I no longer have to follow Axis' orders? I guess I'll go then...

-The Kampfer's maneuvering thrusters are far less functional from the damage it sustained. When it zooms past Takane it immediately tries to correct course by firing its side verniers, but a leak prevents one thruster from activating, causing it to careen wildly from inertia... Right towards the surviving Backup Bot-

“No time to watch the fireworks!” Takane thought as she ran towards some stairs after witnessing Axis’ demise, clambering up them to a safe floor and away from the action.

Suddenly, a Florges enters the battle, descending down from the battlefield in a flowerly path.

The Florges, making her first move, decides to use Grass Knot to catch Takane before she could reach up to Axis.

Unfortunately for Takane, she was caught by the Florges at the top of a flight of stairs as she was clambering up them, and had little time to react as she was whipped back by the Grass Knot.

C-Come on…!

Suddenly, the Florges slams Takane on to the ground still using her Grass Knot to control the knots and make her slam on the floor of the arena itself.

Forcefully being lifted into the air by a glorified vine before being slammed into the floor is not a comfortable experience. But after being hammered into the floor, Takane draws a good card to escape the situation.

Vampire Fang◊, go!

She waves the Ability Card at Florges, it becoming a series of purplish jagged slashes tinged with a red aura, violently cutting the air as they rush to the Pokémon.

King Knight enters the arena, ignoring all the action currently happening.

Halt! The Enchantress has tasked me to get new members to her Order of No Quarter. While you are all clearly weaker than me, you seem just strong enough for her tastes.

Surrender now and join or I will have to use force!

Okay, so... I would love to join this whole avatar arena thing, the last post here seems to have been significantly closer to now than in the narrative version, and it just generally seems like a lot of fun? Just one problem: I have no idea if the dude in my avatar is an actual character, or just something that somebody decided to draw one day and that I'd have to make an OC out of. I do have an idea for the latter case, but I wanna know for sure.

Edit: I just re-checked, and the last post was quite literally yesterday, so I'm probably fine on that front.
