Ruby is good enough to realize when a gun's pointed at her, so she turns into rose petals and dodges the bullet. As it hits a nearby wall, it somehow moves backwards and tumbles off the building.
Cmon, show me at least one useful weapon! She screams as she appeares behind the detective and swings at his arm.
“Happy Birthday Dark Lord, Happy Birthday!”Detective Gamechanger finally remembered what weapons to use to stop her, and there's no time to waste either since the building is nearing the end of Earth's atmosphere and they'll run out of air within 15 minutes if they didn't stop fighting each other.
He activates his Stopwatch invention (only works once a day and has a duration of only a minute), slowing down time to a standstill long enough for him to take her scythe and put it in his literal pocket-dimension. He'll give it back to her when she behaves. He then uses a scanner on her to check for extra ammunition and weapons she can use against him and takes them away as well.
I must show her that I'm not the one to blame and find a way to make sure we won't run out of air. It's true that I made an invention for any scenario, just not inventions that'll solve every scenario. This is why I don't have a teleportation device on me since I never been in this scenario before!
He then notices a mounted camera on the wall that doesn't match any of the security cameras of the rest of the building and has a familiar emblem on it. The one he's been after has been recording the entire fight!
This might be my ticket out of this mess...
The League of HeroesSuddenly, the raven spirit inhabiting Sharlann's staff flaps its wings, and the storm above is whipped away by blustering winds, the epicenter of which is directly above Sharlann, redirecting the dragon once more with sudden gusts of wind. However, in her efforts she does not notice the warrior dashing for her, and takes a direct slash to the chest.
Damn it. You'll pay for that!
After a moment of bleeding, a defensive cantrip seems to trigger as flames envelop her and cauterize the wound, though the incision is still deep and evidently painful. However, the poison seems to have left her system and Sharlann retains an aura of fire around herself as she pulls herself back to a standing position, and begins to draw upon the element of water.
I need to update these things more often"What the?" Ruby mutters as her scythe disappears mid-swing, and her opponent has ran to the other side of the building. "This is over!" She screams, as her body begins to glow rose red, her semblance activates and she barrels at him at breakneck speed, the gusts of wind picking up debris to launch at him.
“Happy Birthday Dark Lord, Happy Birthday!”Masakado casts Mazandyne, a wind attack that strikes at all enemies, concentrating the power of the wind on Sharlann, Lilligant, and lusamine, intended to batter them and blow them away, as well as possibly putting out the fire.
The frustrated back half of the dragon swoops towards Lilligant, hoping to snatch and eat it.
The severed front dragon starts to twitch.
Nyarlathotep used Demon Dance. Nyarlathotep is paralyzed and cannot move!
Yamato starts typing something in his phone.
My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope!Sharlann is tossed backwards by the wind, but seems to cast carefree, clearly trained in combat casting. The front half of the dragon starts frosting over, as the area directly around him drops to sub-zero temperatures and slick ice manifests across the ground. Sharlann, however, now knocked a distance away and bruised, shouts over to Yamato,
Why don't you fight me directly, for once? I'm sure you must have some modicum of power if these creatures are willing to fight for you. You can see the wear and tear I'm taking, what are you afraid of, that I'll get you on the rebound?
I need to update these things more oftenYamato grins. He takes five. Large. Steps. He now seems only a few inches from Sharlann, looking her right in the eye, his height having been stretched and hers squished, although she feels nothing. Then he begins punching rapidly, and turning to adjust to any and all movements she makes to avoid or confuse him, and she finds herself surrounded by a swarm of force daggers, all headed straight for her, from in front, below, above, and slightly to each side, the space Yamato is in having been revolving without him taking a step to give him several angles of attack.
Masakado turns and begins running toward Lilligant.
The back half of the dragon swoops down and devours the front half, and then each head behind the first eats the one in front of it, becoming a single massive dragon head, which roars triumphantly.
My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope!I probably should have mentioned elite skills, but seeing as rebound only works when your opponent doesn't know it's coming and there's no reason for Yamato to know, I thought I'd be a bit fancy with it.
Sharlann smirks, as in the distance her last word resonates with intense magical power,
Rebound
... rebound ... rebound ... rebound.
As the blows land she seems to be continually weakened, but just as what should be the deathblow makes contact, the damage she takes begins to reverse itself as her wounds knit together and her vitality is restored. The flame aura around her disappears, but the strength it gave her from enduring so many blows does not. She generates a massive orb of fire at the tip of her staff, and launches it directly at Yamato, detonating it with a burst of magical power to expand it's area of effect.
First thing you learn in the legions, cub, is don't try to be a hero. Heroes run in and get themselves killed. Second thing you learn is how to make your enemy think they're heroes, and how to find their Achilles heels.

I need to update these things more oftenDetective Gamechanger found the engine room of the thrusters that are pushing the building into outer space. He has taken the liberty of hacking into the security camera feed so that he can see everything that goes on within the building, and he even hacked the defense system so that he's in control of it for good measure.
He then sees the girl making a beeline to his location at an alarming pace via the camera feed.
Guess I was wrong about her scythe being the source of her powers. Oh well, time for my backup plan.
Detective Gamechanger checks his watch. Only 10 minutes left before they suffocate to death. Time to put that plan into motion.
Luckily the suitcase he was after was forgotten by her during the fight, so he was able to quickly find it and reclaim it. The contents of the suitcase fills him with dread, as it not only confirms his worst suspicions about the situation, but it's even worse than he thought. If the hit-list of the man I'm after that I found in the suitcase is true, she most definitely needs my help since we're both on it.
She's probably too angry with me to listen to me, but she might listen to her own friends since I managed to get a location of them via my DNA Radar I used on the things I confiscated from her and told them my side of the story via a short video conference. They agreed to help me sort this mess out once I give the signal.
The signal in question is a button that activates a live video conference on the big monitor that's right across from the room's only entrance. To protect himself from the girl's rage, he use his Invinciblob invention to form a stretchy but strong force field around himself (it's invincible, but it has a time limit of 3 minutes) and braces himself for the girl's entrance. He presses the button the moment she enters.

The League of HeroesRight before the flame engulfs Yamato, he says something, then seems to be engulfed.
Then Sharlann realizes. He said:
"Obviously."
Then... Well, remember the barrier Masakado summoned around Yamato earlier?
It was the spell "barrier", which reflects one magic attack.
The exact fiery explosion repeats itself, but this time emanating from Yamato, who is laughing, and laughing, and laughing...
My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope! So, two options. One, you give up, and I figure out where this goes from here, or two, I shoot out your kneecaps and leave you in this place. Florida'd say, armor slightly damaged from the previous hits to Lusamine.
But, something tells me you're not giving up that easily. He'd shrug.
Either way, the Dakotas are in position. He'd note, as he launched another grenade directly at her Pokemon.
The arcane component of the spell rips at Sharlann, as it can't be avoided, but the fire ball itself passes through her as she turns once more into a blur of flame and zips back towards Lusamine. Given enough time, her abilities can be used again, and it seems as though her earlier powers are refreshed, though the stronger ones will take longer to recharge. Disengaging with Yamato for now, Sharlann drops to all fours and runs with the speed of a cheetah literally. She's a big cat towards her erstwhile ally and raises a rejuvenating font between her and her pokemon. The mere presence of the water seems to push back at the dragon corruption that envelops the battlefield, and drinking it provides aid to Sharlann's allies.
Thought I'd left you alone, huh? Take a chance to heal up, you'll need it!

I need to update these things more oftenAt this point, the single dragon head leaps up into the sky, falls down, and ears Nyarlathotep in one gulp. It roars at all three of its opponents.
Masakado casts Maziodyne, which previously only targeted Sharlann, but now is in range to fork out to try to zap the Pokemon and trainer as well.
My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope!Performing the same song and dance as before, Sharlann raises a magnetic aura around herself, returning both the bullets and the masked fighter's attacks to their initial targets.
Have you learned nothing? You're practically fighting yourselves at this rate! Hmm, you know what, I like where you're standing. Let's keep you there.
Suddenly, Sharlann manipulates the magnetic forces at her disposal and weighs down on all of Florida's metal equipment, pulling as if a super magnet had just been turned on right below the surface. It's not strong enough to crush the metal, by any means, but anything not firmly attached or held on to could easily be pulled off of Florida.
I need to update these things more often

Detective Gamechanger switched out the hologram gun with another non-lethal weapon that he forgot the purpose of just as the mysterious girl slices Chernabog in half, ending the hologram.
The security system rediscovered them and shot at the two of them. Despite having much better defenses than a normal human, he wasn't going to risk trying to tank the gunfire as he narrowly avoids the lasers but still gets hit with some bullets. He winces from the pain.
If I'm going to defeat her non-lethally, I have to break that weapon of hers. Breaking the weapon now would be kinda anti-climatic
He fires the unknown weapon at her scythe just as he remembered that the weapon he just used was the "Rifle That Turns Whatever Object You Shot At do the Moonwalk As It Sings The Space Jam Theme".
Meanwhile, the building has just reached the Thermosphere and is picking up speed.
