...boing.
...
...what's sad is that in this game that's completely legit. Phoenix Wright and Wolverine can beat Galactus, why the hell not?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!So, safe bet X's theme is this?
I'd prefer this (which was his theme in Project X Zone):

This song needs more love.If Sigma is the villain I want a remix of his theme, and if he is the final boss I want a Sigma Stage 1 remix.
Mileena MadnessOne thing I want to know fast is what their preferred music style/direction is this time.
In the meantime, I fear I might end up choosing characters simply based off of possible music inclusions.
Seriously though, we can at least be fairly certain that there will be a character from SFV - Necali maybe. And if there is another SF character after that besides Chun Li (who is a given - [[spoiler: and quite possibly the only X-Man in the game), I'm guessing Juri. Juri seems like far and away Capcom's favorite of the characters its created recently.
Outside of Street Fighter... I dunno. Its the Capcom series I have the most experience with, in addition to this one. So I'd like to see some classics return as seen in this series: Strider, Jin, Captain Commando, Whiskers... and I'd like to see them bring back older characters that didn't work so well with improvements and new blood, like Hsien Ko (I'm the only person who stuck with her in 3, I'm sure), Sonson, etc. Would anyone like to see Ruby Heart again (seriously, was she popular? I have no idea...).
But at the same time, I want to see a whole host of new characters, and would be totally willing to not get many returning characters if those newcomers were interesting and creative. So my desires are at odds.
On the goofy side, there's Dmitri from Darkstalkers just to watch the internet explode.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I imagine it's likely they'll bring back Hideyuki Fukusawa as he's been working continuously on Capcom fighters and isn't occupied with any Type Moon work at the moment. Hopefully in a different direction from MvC3 though. I like most of Fukusawa's work but I wasn't a particular fan of the style there, though I can't explain exactly why. It's a longshot but Jamie Christopherson worked on some of the music for Onimusha 4, maybe they can bring him back for this somehow.
I think Strider has a good chance of showing up since he was popular enough to be included in UMvC3 and for Double Helix to do a remake of his game.

So Capcom just showed off the gameplay trailer at Capcom Cup today...
Well, it's neither assist characters or tag characters doing Marvel 2/3 style assists. It's the style of Street Fighter X Tekken's combo extension and leave style.
Uh. Not quite sure how to feel about that yet, but I imagine Marvel combos would be more hype in a S Fx T system than, well, Street Fighter combos.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughFelicia, Hsien-Ko, and Tron Bonne was my main team in MVC 3, so you're not the only one who mained Hsien-Ko.
Waitaminute... that's not still Eric Loomis voicing Iron Man is it?

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. They're going back to the style that MVC 1 used. Which was brought back for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Street Fighter X Tekken.
Hopefully this game avoids the controversies that plagues S Fx T.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! This game only has 6 gems so that's an easy step up.
More details from Game Informer. Apparently the game designers are pointing towards Capcom Vs SNK 2's Groove system for how the infinity stones work, so I imagine it'll be a lot less overbearing than, say, X Factor.

For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughI didn't even need to listen to his voice clips from the 3rd game to know it was indeed Eric Loomis voicing Iron Man.
That Game Informer article. The guy being interviewed didn't give a direct answer, but made it pretty apparent that X-men characters will not be excluded.

In particular, I took from the worst "heritage" that he was specifically thinking of the big, iconic MVC characters who happen to not be in the film rights. So, Maggy, DOOM, etc.
Which, unfortunately, means we might get Sentinel again...
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Sure sounds like Loomis.
>X-Men returning
It's also possible he means they're still in as Moveset Clones. Which would appease the tourneygoers but still be pretty bullshit.

Is that stage a mix of the Highway level in Mega Man X 1 and Asgard?
Why would he mean moveset clones and moveset clones to whom?

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Looks like it. I see the statues and some rainbow lines, plus the truck from MMX 1.
Looks like it. The plot's probably going to involve the two universes being forcibly fused together somehow. That also lends credence to the big bad being a mashed together Capcom and Marvel villain.
It looks like the destroyed Bifrost in Asgard, actually. Just like in the first Thor movie.
Anyone can confirm who's voicing Carol there? Is it Jennifer Hale (as in The Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes) or Grey De Lisle (from The Super Hero Squad Show)?

I was just thinking that Dr. Wily could be an interesting choice for a fighter if Capcom wanted someone from the classic Megaman series. Give him a modified Wily Machine to fight in.
Scratch that, I think it's really Jennifer Hale on Carol.
Also... sad news, guys, and I just found out today. Reasons unknown, but... Mark Gatha, the voice of X (and Domon Kasshu) has... passed away this year. I think Capcom is gonna have to find a replacement.
I'm personally hoping for Yuri Lowenthal, maybe to further the relations with Johnny Yong Bosch who was Zero last game.

A) That's not true, in fact she's popular enough that she's getting her own book and she's now the leader of the Ultimates. She's being pushed as well, just like Kamala.
B) Iron Fist isn't exactly A-List either and Shang-Chi is cooler. So by your logic, Iron Fist shouldn't be in the game either.
Not that a character's ranking matters to the people that want them in. So let ask for their favorites in piece, weather that be Iron Fist, America or freaking Squirrel Girl.
And do remember there were plenty of none A-listers last time, whom people didn't think would make it.
So you admit you don't know anything about the character or her powers. Which again means you can't really judge if their powers are "boring" or not.
