It seemed Astra was getting left behind; time to start hurrying up... though that left them pretty wide open.
If P22 is occupied by an ally by end of turn: Dash to P23. Otherwise: Dash to P22.
Before Railen’s turn, Azadokht moves to L24, performs a Dance of Stamina for Railen and returns to K26.
Dash to P21

Round 14: Player Phase
Round 14: Enemy Phase
"Oh, you think you're quick, do ya?" the hulking berserker snarled as a trio of swift fighters surrounded his position. He brandished his deadly blade, sizing up his foes. His gaze locked on to the scantily-clad blonde hefting an axe that was surely too large for her. "Well then, scurry, little bunnies! The thresher comes for you!"
He lunged, his massive blade cutting through the air with such force that it cleaved the tops off several stalagmites as Bette easily ducked under his stroke. Quicker than he could recover from his over-aggressive attack, the magic martial artist heaved her weapon with a surprising grace. She struck twice before he hit the ground, carved to pieces.
Railen looked on in amazement at Bette's gruesome victory, so engrossed that he didn't see the other soldier's spear sailing through the air at him until it had struck him in the side.
The shaman glimpsed more of the company past the mercenaries among the rocks, and fell back, taking cover in a stand of stalagmites. She stowed her tome of dark magic, and hurriedly flipped through the pages of another, conjuring a bolt of lightning to strike at the distant troops, but without a clear view, her strike merely charred the ground a few feet from Astra.

Astra heard Railen's grunt of pain, and readied their staff to deal with that problem again.
If Railen ends his turn in range to do so: Move adjacent to him and heal him with Mend Staff. Otherwise: Move to S20 and heal Railen with Physic Staff.
Move to S21
Dash to S22.
Move to S17 via a route that puts Railen in range of Astra healz then attack Vissan 31 with the Lancereaver, gambling 20 hit for crit.

Bette grinned sadistically at the Vissan dog as she cleaved through him, her axe carving once, then twice. The monstrous weapon tore the man apart with ease, flesh and steel alike being split like wheat before the scythe, reaping a geyser of blood.
"Nothing personal," she said to the dead berserker, putting the axe on her back, the giant head protruding well above her shoulders as she opened up her tome.
Attack Vissan 32 with Flux Tome. If dead, go to T17 and attack Vissan 31 with Flux Tome. If both are dead, go to T20 and prepare attack with Flux Tome.
Azadokht laughs as she rockets forward, her movement a blur. Her new shoes – dyed a glorious flame red and chalk white, originally footwear intended to let unshifted laguz keep up with the rest of the clan (if what that Murgavian tradeswoman told her years ago was true; how they got into the hands of a Vissan irregular is another thing altogether) – strike the earth, feet circling in the air. Dear Mihr, this is glorious!
“Don’t deny that’s effective, Bette,” Aza says, smiling as she surges past the axe-hefting dark mage, “but –” and she takes her own, regularly-sized one in both hands, willing purging Light into the weapon as she dashes at the Vissan’s own shadow-wielder and winds up for a strike – “sometimes all you need is to put the power in just the right place !”
Before Bette’s turn, Azadokht dashes, moving to Q17 and attacking Vissan 32 with the Swordslayer.

Round 15: Player Phase
As Railen leapt from his rocky cover, the Vissan soldier raised her spear to impale him as he dropped, realizing only too late that Railen had switched weapons. He swung as he descended, his sword shattering the head of her spear and splitting the shaft in twain, right down to her hands. Snapping the angle of the cut, Railen slashed across her chest, shearing through her armor and flesh. She was dead before she even realized what had happened.
Nearby, Bette gathered magical energy in her hand, preparing an eldritch encore to her act on the berserker, when Azadokht suddenly burst out of nowhere, brandishing her axe. Both Bette and the Vissan mage were so surprised by the dancer's sudden appearance that neither was prepared for her strike, and the mage fell to the cavern floor with a gaping wound in her neck.
Bette shrugged, and moved to join the rest of the party, who had begun inching into the next passage of the cavern.
Round 15: Enemy Phase
"Did you hear that?" a soldier said anxiously, fumbling with her sword. "I swear I heard a scream."
An officer sighed and snapped his tome shut. "It's nothing," he insisted. "The echoes distort everything."
"Stay on your guard, anyway," the other officer commanded. "Colonel Urtaxis—"
"Master Urtaxis," the sage corrected.
The other officer rolled her eyes. "Master Urtaxis is counting on us to hold off the Ephs. This place gives you the creeps? Then use it to stay on your toes! Our only way out of this mess is if the Col-, Master, finds what he's lookign for."
A fighter in the back shudder and grumbled to the archer. "We never shoulda gone AWOL."
Round 16 Deadline: 9:00pm PST, 8/24.
The surge crashes downwards. The enemy is felled.
Letting the axehead’s momentum carry it back to a resting position, Aza releases a breathy laugh. Her eyes glint with satisfaction.
Then, of course, they look downwards. The satisfaction drains away even as Azadokht turns her gaze back through the caverns, guilt writing itself on her face. She clenches her fist. These people were going to subjugate an entire nation. They needed stopping. Her knuckles relax. And they were soldiers, after all. They were ready. They’ll have a place in the final battle.
Azadokht looks down at the broken form of the dark mage once more.
She hesitates. Then she kneels, extending her hand to the Vissan’s forehead, willing the power forth. The Vissan convulses as it reaches through her body, limbs jerking at the shock.
Aza holds on for as long as she can bear it. Then, with a deep breath, she withdraws her fingers from the skin. She offers a soft, pained smile. No pure water but it might be enough to keep her from Tar. “It’s what I can do,” she whispers.
Then she flits away, in the dance.
Azadokht dashes, moving to R17, performing a Dance of Stamina for Railen and continuing to S24.

If not granted Stamina dash to R27 and equip the Killing Edge as a bonus action. Gambling 5 hit for crit either way. Requesting that if Railen doesn't get Stamina that Scherwiz use her action to put mountain terrain on his tile.

Move to T25 and defend.
Round 16: Player Phase
Like a bolt out of the darkness, Railen sped through the midst of the Vissan company and slipped the cloak right off the shaman in the back's shoulders.
"Yar har har!" Scherwiz guffawed, close on his heels. "Ye could at least be buyin' her dinner first, ye scallywag!"
'Round 16: Enemy Phase
"I told you I heard something!" the soldier shouted as the Vissan squad charged at the company.
"Stuff it!" the officer yelled back, lunging at Astra with her deadly lance. The little dragon flapped their wings, twisting out of the weapon's way, and returned fire with a burst of holy light that left the officer reeling and clutching at her eyes. "Gyah!" she snarled, lashing fruitlessly with her weapon. "Where are you, you little vermin?"
With a sigh, her fellow officer stepped up behind her and tapped his staff to her back, healing the reddening flesh that had been seared by divine light, if not her eyes.
"I frikkin' told 'em," the soldier grumbled again, and turned back to deal with the swift swordfighters that had penetrated their back line. "Take this, you slippery bastard!" she cried, hurling her spear at Scherwiz, who simply watched it clatter uselessly against the rocks and laughed.
The shaman recoiled from Railen, throwing her hands up as if to protect her modesty, even though she was still wearing a full-length black robe, and hustled off toward the front line with a cry of, "Sicko!" Once there, her eyes fell upon another mage; this one also bearing an elritch tome, and wrapped in a cloak just like the one she had just been stripped of. "Guess I'll just have to get a replacement!" she said, and let loose with a blast of dark magic. Amystra sidestepped nimbly, and unleashed a barrage of siphoning tentacles that wrapped around the shaman's arms and legs, but seemed to suck far less of her victim's essence than Amystra was used to. For her part, the Vissan shaman just smirked back. "Hey, that tickles."
The hulking axe fighter brushed past her, throwing her weapon through the gap between the company's mages at Kiri, but the manakete simply batted it out of the air with her tail and hurled one spear and then another back. The fighter managed to dodge the first, but as she paused to catch her axe on its return flight, the second struck her in the leg.
The archer scowled as she moved up behind the shaman and sighted down her shaft at Amystra. "Ugh, get a room, already," she groused at her comrade, still entangled in Amystra's tendrils, and loosed. The missile flew true, striking Amystra dead center of the chest, coming within base inches of leaving her sprawled on the floor. "And that's how it's Goddessdamned done!" crowed the only Vissan soldier to have actually inflicted damage in the first exchange of the skirmish.
Round 17 Deadline: 9:00pm PST, 8/27.
Move to T26 and attack Vissan 33 with Lightdrinker Tome.
Forward she runs. Azadokht darts and dodges through her companions, reaching the front - and the next Vissan line. Through it, she sights another dark mage. Her mind is awhirr in an instant, the barely-defeated guilt standing again - but for a moment, as she takes in the situation. Either Astra or I have the best chance. Astra’s engaged, so…
Rushing beyond her comrades, Azadokht ignites her axe once more.
As soon as either R26 or S27 becomes vacant, Azadokht moves to either R26 or S27, attacks Vissan 36 with the Swordslayer and continues to S22.

If Astra Moves, move to s26 and attack Vissan 37 with Axereaver. If not attack Vissan 37 with shortspear.
If Vissan 38 dies: Move to O28 and attack Vissan 35 with Flash Tome. Otherwise, if Vissan 36 dies but Vissan 38 does not: Move to R27 and attack Vissan 38 with Flash Tome. If neither of these is true... just get out of everyone's way and Defend, I guess?
