I'm really excited about the rest of the season now, holy crap! I don't know if I want to write Simon off as being irredeemable just yet considering the entire purpose of the train, but I can't imagine he's getting off the train this season. Holy shit, Simon, what the FUCK.
When we're done, there won't be anything left. One question this season raises. Does behavior toward the other passengers count towards your number? Because it seems odd that if so Grace didn't realize that being a better person = lower numbers.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Season 2 was the 1st time we've seen passengers interact.
So, there's not much to go on there.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I don't know, guys. I just love first two seasons, but this one it's probably not for me. Main characters being so far nearly irredeemable jerks with no saving graces whatsoever make this season classic example of Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy for me.
And, as an anarchist myself, I particularly have a problem with anarchist-coded group of kids being presented as clueless, cruel sociopaths and questioning system of rules presented as misquided self-destructive behaviour. I know, this is probably not a problem for most of you guys, but seriously, it's such a strawman trope.

No saving Grace?
Amazing Grace is more like it.

I just knew someone will make Grace pun.

I see what you mean. Things get better once Hazel and Tuba join in but watching Grace and Simon interact and try to be indearing feels like a waste of time because uh, no, I can't let go what bastards you are. I know you can follow a protagonist without agreeing with their motives but it doesn't work for them.
Although, side note: it's awfully convenient that they keep running into nice and cute denizens. I can see why writers avoid morally grey characters like MT was in her first episode but where's stuff like Mirror Police, Perry the Parasite, or Marcel the cloud from Map Car?
I mean you still have to get to know them before things change...
Ignoring what they are isn't really the point.

I plan to watch the new episodes and rewatch them with my friend/friends at a later point at least.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.@Misiael If it helps, writers lately confirmed that Apex are NOT anarchists. They have rules, leaders, hierarchy and they don't tolerate any opposition to them. Heck, they don't have any problem with THE authority, they just think that current authority is a usurper. In fact, they basically worship the "real" conductor. They're more of a sect than anything. People just call them "anarchist-coded" because how they dress.
Strictly speaking anarchy is an ideology with specific ideas and values (ironically, despite the Bomb Throwing Anarchist trope, it can be boiled down to "be nice to other people, and pay it forward when people are nice to you"). Not just "no rules, anything goes".

Apparently, the show was meant for HBO Max from the beginning, but stuff involving Time Warner changed things up. While Cartoon Network worked on the creative side of things, HBO Max called the final shots.

It's on the streaming service HBO Max.
