The first 5 episodes are out today. The remaining five will come out over the next two weeks.
BOOK 3 SPOILERS: Boy, they really baited the dog with Simon, huh. I went from thinking only Grace would be redeemed to thinking both of the pair would be redeemed then back to just Grace again lol.
I love fakeouts.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.No spoilers yet, but whoosh, that Mid-Season Twist...!
I'm really excited about the rest of the season now, holy crap! I don't know if I want to write Simon off as being irredeemable just yet considering the entire purpose of the train, but I can't imagine he's getting off the train this season. Holy shit, Simon, what the FUCK.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. One question this season raises. Does behavior toward the other passengers count towards your number? Because it seems odd that if so Grace didn't realize that being a better person = lower numbers.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. The number seems to be based on the passenger's handling of their own issues, rather than some sort of bad deed counter, so exactly who you're acting towards is probably irrelevant.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerSeason 2 was the 1st time we've seen passengers interact.
So, there's not much to go on there.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.It could count, depending on how you behaved and how you leave the encounter.
Wake me up at your own risk. His number clearly started to go up after he killed Tuba.
I don't know, guys. I just love first two seasons, but this one it's probably not for me. Main characters being so far nearly irredeemable jerks with no saving graces whatsoever make this season classic example of DarknessInducedAudienceApathy for me.
And, as an anarchist myself, I particularly have a problem with anarchist-coded group of kids being presented as clueless, cruel sociopaths and questioning system of rules presented as misquided self-destructive behaviour. I know, this is probably not a problem for most of you guys, but seriously, it's such a strawman trope.

I just knew someone will make Grace pun.
I see what you mean. Things get better once Hazel and Tuba join in but watching Grace and Simon interact and try to be indearing feels like a waste of time because uh, no, I can't let go what bastards you are. I know you can follow a protagonist without agreeing with their motives but it doesn't work for them.
Although, side note: it's awfully convenient that they keep running into nice and cute denizens. I can see why writers avoid morally grey characters like MT was in her first episode but where's stuff like Mirror Police, Perry the Parasite, or Marcel the cloud from Map Car?
I mean you still have to get to know them before things change...
Ignoring what they are isn't really the point.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The voice actor for the utter bastard said that recording THAT scene was hard because the VA for little Hazel was there. (It was a group recoding.)
I agree. POOR ISABELLA.

I plan to watch the new episodes and rewatch them with my friend/friends at a later point at least.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.@Misiael If it helps, writers lately confirmed that Apex are NOT anarchists. They have rules, leaders, hierarchy and they don't tolerate any opposition to them. Heck, they don't have any problem with THE authority, they just think that current authority is a usurper. In fact, they basically worship the "real" conductor. They're more of a sect than anything. People just call them "anarchist-coded" because how they dress.
Strictly speaking anarchy is an ideology with specific ideas and values (ironically, despite the Bomb Throwing Anarchist trope, it can be boiled down to "be nice to other people, and pay it forward when people are nice to you"). Not just "no rules, anything goes".

Apparently, the show was meant for HBO Max from the beginning, but stuff involving Time Warner changed things up. While Cartoon Network worked on the creative side of things, HBO Max called the final shots.
Will the show eventually be put on regular TV?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I REALLY doubt it. But its not up to me.

New theme music also a boxSadly, it doesnt seem like CN has a "long time". It could air on International CN seeing that most other countries lack HBO Max.
