But the trope is named The Shelf of Movie Languishment right now. It equals to saying "leave the name as it is", which isn't an option in an Alternative Titles crowner.

But there was no single-prop crowner establishing a consensus to rename. Generally, it's best to do one of those first, to avoid just this situation.

I just went back through the thread and the discussion was, for the first four pages, about No Episode Wonder, not about renaming Shelf.... There was some tentative support for renaming it, but more comments along the lines of ""maybe" and "I don't see a need to rename, it's not the greatest, but it doesn't seem to be hurting the page...."
I also haven't seen definite reasons to rename put forward, reasons that can be summarized on the crowner. The page has healthy performance, given that by its very subject, it's going to be difficult to crosswick.
A new name crowner is premature at this point. I've unhooked it.
Let's do this right: Those of you who want to rename "Shelf..." give your reasons why it should be changed, taking into account that it's not underperforming and no evidence that it's being misused because of the name has been presented. If reasons are presented, I'll make a single-prop rename or not crowner and hook that.But first we need strong reasons to rename.

We aren't even going to run a Single-prop Rename Or Not crowner if there's no better reasons for a rename offered than "It says "movie" but it includes other media." That is not sufficient reason to rename. Provide evidence that it's underperformimg due to the name, that the name is hurting it, or that there's misuse that tracks back to the name.

Well, then again, leaving the name as it wouldn't make sense due to it having non-film examples

Unless the name is damaging the page, we don't rename it. Repeating "but it has non-movie examples" over and over again is NOT demonstrating that it's damaging or hurting the page. Give reasons and provide support and do it soon. We aren't going to keep this thread open indefinitely.

Looking at the second crowner, Finished But Never Released got more votes. Does that name make sense?
The problem with that name is that many The Shelf of Movie Languishment examples were released, just not on schedule.
