En route to WOODS
"Yeah, I know you're not a kid. It's a whatsit, figure o speech, my fine lad. Roll with it. So, any opinions on what we might run into? I'm curious as to what you think."
Mora smiles, all friendly. Honestly, they feel like someone you could entrust your life to - or at the very least your secrets.
"And you, Jacko, what's going on in that head of yours, eh?"

The Fight
Gaston smirked at Lucas, cracking his knuckles as he walked closer. Gaston charged again with yet another right hook, and if Lucas dodges that, a floowup left uppercut.
Under the Tree
Alexia blinked at Feb's invitation. Miss Feb wasn't exactly a close friend, but she did want to get to know her better, not to mention it was always a good idea to fight with different partners.
Alexia smiled and held out her hand. "I'd love to team up with you for the hunt..."

Of all the ways you could have phrased it, you went with that bungled mess? Lucas thought to himself, hiding his irritation as his teammate attempt to root him on. Why am I not surprised?
Still, he needed to concentrate. While he was able to able to dodge the right hook with ease, the left uppercut... well, if it were a bladed attack, he would have had some shorter hairs. If he was going to win the duel, he needed to get on the offensive before Gaston ran him dry. Fortunately, he could see (so to speak) an opening — when Gaston did the uppercut, his right side was vulnerable. Lucas proceeded to dash away from Gaston's front and pulled off a knife hand strike at the bigger huntsman's abdomen on the right side.
Hunt Preparations
"The mountain—" Umber said, mostly unhesitating. "The mountain is good. That is—um—mountains are familiar—"
Umber paused, as if unsure whether to continue. Soon, encyclopedic knowledge seemed to regurgitate from her mouth.
"People usually avoid living on mountains. So Grimm aren't as drawn to them like hiding spots in a forest. But the Grimm that do live on mountains are usually dangerous and mobile..."

Headed for the Woods
Mora pauses, and turns to look at Jack. Detecting no real malice, they smile, then spin to face forward again.
"That's a good question!"
They then continue walking at the same pace.
"That being said, I'mma have to ask you to head on back to the camp for now. We'll talk again later when I have more energy to devote to educating you, alright?"

Hunt prep
A wild grin started to grow across Glen's face.
"So, what you're sayin' is that we'll be havin' a wee bit o' a challenge if we take the mountain?"
Promptly unsheathing his Claymore, Glen added "Sounds like a braw fine plan. Let's go hunt down a beastie" before promptly marching off towards the mountain.
Woods.
Raising an eyebrow and shrugging at that...question, the air-head just focused on moving forward. "...Subtlety ain't a strong point of most people, it seems. ...But I 'spose that could've been worse." Falken weakly chuckled, wrapping a strand of his long green hair around a finger, closing his eyes and trying to focus on any movements that'd disrupt the air and cause noise.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.FOREST HUNT
"Oh, yeah. I mean, I've heard pretty much every variation before. Besides, he's just dumb, not mean. You know, a bit slow on the uptake?"
They chuckle lightly.
"I'm sure you've had your fair share of stupid questions, eh?"
Continuing forward, they use their machete to chop away some dense brush, clearing a path forward.

Fighting Party
Gaston gasped as he was struck. It seemed ''that'" one hit where it hurt. He staggered backwards, woozily trying to get some distance from his opponent.
Hunting Party
The students spread out and headed for the different hunt zones. What they found there were....
Wasteland Zone'
The wasteland was just that. Mostly sand and rock, with a few half dead plants and stubborn trees every here and there. It was quite near the Vacuo border, which was why they needed to be careful not to ross it.
At first glance, there didn't seem to be any Grimm out there but...
There was a figure in the distance, running full sprint.
Forest Zone
The teams in the Forest wandered around the trees. As it was Novus, most of the leaves on the trees were gone, giving the forest a slightly dead look.
Alexia smiled at Feb as she kept her shield up.
"Okay, Miss Feb, let's do this. Show what we can do, right?"
At that moment, Lexi heard movement, and with a surprised yelp, drew her sword and pointed it at....the other students who had gone there.
"Eeep! I'm sorry!"
Mountain Zone
Mount Amaterasu was still as intimidating as ever, even though the entrance to the Luna base inside had been closed off.
At first glance there dodn't seem to be anything alive in those rocky crags...but, well, they were only at the foot and nowhere to go but up, right?
"Yeah, I know what you're talkin' about. Compared to everyone on my team bein' robots and practically geniuses, I'm kinda lackin' in smarts myself." Falken didn't lose the smile on his face, though as he casually rested his arms behind his head.
"...'Sides, I get a similar question sometimes myself. ...It's a long story. Don't think anyone's really asked me anythin' stupid. ...Or much else either, actually." The air-head chuckled again, keeping an eye open since he couldn't hear anything.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Forest Friendly-Fire.
Not looking the slightest bit worried at Lexi pointing her sword in their general direction, Falken still kept up the grin. "No need to be so quick on the trigger there 'Princess'. I mean, y'know, it's good bein' eager, but people are gonna make assumptions if ya jump the gun too early." The green-haired guy teased.
"...'Sides, the Grimm aren't exactly quiet or slow since they come racin' outta nowhere. Relax a little, they'd give ya bit more of an obvious warnin'."

"Rrr! Hleasure to work with you!" Feb beamed, her wide smile reaching her eyes as she shook Alexia's hand vigorously. "Just note, gring ear hrotection. Ny weahons are loud."
Very loud, in fact. She didn't want her partner to lose her hearing from all the explosions and excessively loud gunfire.
Forest Hunt
The forest was rather colourful, given the particular season they were in. Sniffing around the dead leaves, the shark was rather laden with her sniper rifle slung across her back and black tubes strapped to her waist. Still, she moved quietly, if a little slowly.
Her concentration was broken for a brief time by her partner, who was in a rather good mood. The shark gave her a lively nod back, and a thumbs-up. The princess wouldn't understand her complex hand-signals, so going with the basics was perfectly fine.
"Very cahagle. Frontline, with eye fron gack." She was confident in Alexia's abilities, though her mindset was rather easy to surprise. While the princess was busy with the apologies, the shark moved up closer and gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "Caln, Hrincess. Hunt just started."
Onward, noble steed!
Yun gave a quiet laugh, before directing Hope towards the wasteland.
Wasteland
As Anima drove along the barren terrain, Yun scanned the area for Grimm. Spotting movement, he zoomed in on the figure in the distance. "Is that..."he muttered, before speaking to Hope. "Hey Hope, there's movement ahead...could either be a small grimm or a person, not too sure yet."
Four's an Army
"So, I take it you've found squat as well? Darn. Was hopping for some easy game. Much as the female dna-source is good at it, I just can't seem to get tracking Grimm down. Much better at pursuing people, ya feel me?"
They shrug. At this point, Mora was really up for anything.
"Anyways, y'all wanna team up, or shall we go our separate ways?"
Hunting at the Mountain
After a polite goodbye to Erin, Pius made his way back to the tents and retrieved Dies Irae. Once he was briefed on what was to occur, he set out by himself to Amaterasu. He wasn't sure why he felt any Grimm would be there, but at least something of their despicable kind had to have settled in after the facility within was abandoned and Epsilon moved out to wherever he was hopefully living in peace.
Landing near the base of the mountain, Pius looked up the slope and tried to scan the area with his Semblance for any sign of his enemy's presence.
Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Pre-Hunt
During the scuffle between the two men, Grigori looked at the group heading for the mountain "Mind if I join you?" As fun as it was to see Gaston's being smacked around by a blind guy, he shouldn't stay for long when the established teams were moving. He feels like they would need extra range if any Grimm were too far.
"I treasure every day with you, darling." "No need to be so sappy, love." "You know that's how she is, Nia." - AU!Pyra, Nia, MythraMOUNTAIN
Pius would indeed notice something. It had a fairly powerful aura-a little stronger than his. He could hear trees smashing and splintering up the slope as if something powerful was plowing its way through the bush.
A long haired young man faceplanted in front of him. The young man forced himself up to his knees, grabbing Pius to pull himself up.Jack paused and swore as he saw who it was. "Hey Pius. You're not still mad about your bed, right?" He asked, as if trying to make a joke.
Jack didn't like Pius, and he assumed Pius didn't like hm back.

Good to be back"Uh—" Umber nodded. She jogged to catch up to Glen.
Mountain Zone
Umber gradually fell behind as she grew more lost in her thoughts. Capricorn took this as an opportunity.
"You sympathize with that lumbering oaf, don't you?" Capricorn whispered.
Umber stumbled slightly as she stepped over a rock. Stubbornly trekking up the small incline to the base of the mountain, she didn't bother to look back at Capricorn.
"Don't call him that," Umber said. "He is not—"
"What, lumbering or an oaf?"
Umber remained silent.
"He's like you," Capricorn said. "Unwanted."
Umber whirled around to face Capricorn, but by the time she turned around, Capricorn was already gone. Umber sighed. She turned back and jogged to catch up.
"See anything—?" she said.

Raising an eyebrow and laughing it off, Falken still looked a little amused...although as if someone had ruffled his feathers the wrong way.
"Fal. KEN. And hey, it's fine admittin' it, I suppose. I know I can't, but I'm lucky enough to float on water rather than sink like a rock. ...And I ain't a kid! Sorta. Kinda. It's besides the point, but let's get our move on...~ And 'course. The forest's gotta have plenty of Grimm lurkin' in the shadows waiting for us, so that ain't a bad place to start."
The air-head was definitely as energetic as usual...
"Weren't we makin' small talk already?"
