I'm gonna echo everyone else I hear talking about the film and say the best part was probably the gal they got to play Laura. Really hope she goes places. No idea how they're going to continue the franchise but if she doesn't do for X-23 what Jackman did for Wolverine, I'll be surprised.
A monument to all your sinsThis movie gave me a sad
Also I read somewhere that the green stuff was mutant growth hormone
So it enhanced Logan's healing factor and berserker rage because those apparently are his grab bag of mutant powers
Not sure what it would do to a human but probably not heal them
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI never liked Logan as a character and I always thought Tall, Dark, and Handsome Jackman was kind of a miscast for him. Also, the first two Wolverine movies were very underwhelming. Despite all this, Logan has easily become my favourite X-Men movie of all time and one of the best Superhero movies in general. It was borderline flawless. Tragic, but not without a few heartwarming or funny moments. The acting was phenomenal, especially on Laura's part. Her actress was heartbreakingly good.

The "Shaggy Dog" Story with Papa Wolf protecting his own has already been popularized - Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, The Road, Taken. Superhero films haven't really touched on personal stories the way Logan did, and they basically hit every possible note you can hit.
I also wish they hadn't killed off Xavier. That was such a kick in the balls after Apocalypse.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!McAvoy's Xavier could still show up. Patrick Stewart had to bow out at some point, though. It's cool that he was willing to do one more movie after DOFP, to take the stage one last time with Jackman.
Also— yeah, finally saw this. Really great, overall. I just...wish they hadn't gone with the clone. I know the temptation to do a Mirror Match is great, but it just sit right with the tone of the rest of the movie. Rice and X-24 were a little too sci-fi for a movie that was otherwise so intent on being grounded. Strip out most of the mutant powers and cybernetics and this movie still works, so it was disappointing to see them go with the clone of the hero here when there's so many other ways to depict the characters dark side more indirectly, more poetically. Just feels lazy.
I did like that they finally found a use for those goddamn adamantium bullets, though.
Wow!
For once the title was right. That really is how it should have ended! Up until Deadpool arrived anyway
Forever liveblogging the AvengersDammit Deadpool!...or hurray Deadpool...honestly, I'm not sure how to feel. That being said, great musical number.
One Strip! One Strip! This is the first HISHE I've seen that was actually funny. Until the Deadpool part, at least. Now excuse me while I go sing some songs from Les Miserables.

Speaking of DOFP do you think that the reason why Logan believes everyone around him will die is because of what Beast said about time fixing itself?
