I find this trope biased. So I'm a bit sore about it because my edit of Courage The Cowardly Dog being one got removed, because apparently other people see him as Ugly Cute. Apparently a character have to have perfect teeth to qualify for this.
However, I do think this is proof that there are going to be arguments on whether something qualifies for the trope or not, and as a result I think it needs to be retooled a bit.
How about listing examples in which cuteness is a contributing factor to the character in question, in other words, something the character is known for In-Universe?
