I can't believe they made Jefferson a distant relative of Gravedigger. I saw it and I understand it but still WOW!

I'm seeing some worries online that Grace is going to die. Hope that doesn't happen.

Well to be honest the writers never knew what to do with her, it would not be surprising.

The one I think will die is Inspector Henderson, which would be a bit weak on a dramatic level, but his actor is leaving after this season, and I doubt Henderson would suddenly leave Freeland after fighting to liberate it from the ASA.

Man, this season has been such a blast. The only things that were unnecessary were the Lala and Lady Eve bits.

....Well, we knew he was leaving.

This show really loves jerking Anissa and Grace around, doesn't it?

This is probably my favorite of the season finales. Felt like a more clear conclusion while still leaving enough plot threads for season 4 to handle. Though I think Henderson's death, while well-acted, didn't have a strong impact since we barely saw him in these past few episodes.

Also, this episode reinforced my view that it's black men, not black people, that Tobias hates given how he killed the "blackovian" scientist and his father but spared the mother. And I guess the writers walked back on Jeff and Lynn not being divorced given they have Tobias refer to Lynn as divorced.

Really solid end to the season. 16 episodes works so much better than 22.

Jeff bragging about saving the universe never got old.

I felt like the final 3 episodes had a few slightly iffy plot moments, but the tone and energy was so fantastic they didn't bother me at all.

Probably my favorite scene was when Lala turned out to help Henderson against the Markovians. It made no sense at all they could fight them off, but I still had a huge grin on my face when it happened.

I watched Young Justice S3 a few days before watching the back half of this, so it was a little funny comparing the two.

Specifically how kill happy Jenn, and most of the heroes are in BL. And the whole Jace and Jeff was a Thing in YJ.

It seemed pretty clear to me: while the Markovians were focused on Henderson and the people in front of them, Lala and his crew came up out of nowhere from both sides and and caught them in a crossfire.

They were caught off guard by dudes they didn’t expect to be there and weren’t able to react in time.

Good finale, I really hope most of the new additions to the cast will return next season (TC, Brandon, Erica).

Intriguing. I thought that he could potentially have a spin off but I don't know if the timing is right. Other than the pandemic causing filming to be uncertain, Khalil and Jennifer seem like they belong together if I am remembering Season 3's ending correctly. There is also the fact that since Black Lightning merged with the rest of the Arrowverse, tone and atmosphere are uncertain. Maybe if Cyborg wasn't already being used in Doom Patrol this show might be good for him but we will have more information come Season 4. Most of what I said is kind of

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about that. I like the character, but I'm not sure about a spin-off.

From what I remember, he chose to get revenge on Odell (though didn't kill him) and walked away from the others.

Good. Keep him on his own show so I never have to see him near Jennifer again.

Chantal Thuy is now a series regular on Black Lightning.

Season four will be the final season.

Well, that's that.

So now both Supergirl and Black Lightning end, shortly after they were just transplanted to Earth Prime. What a shame.

Guess that Painkiller spin-off makes more sense now.

Man, this is unreal. First Arrow, Supergirl doesn't have that much longer, now Black Lightning. How much longer does The Flash have? Might explain all the new shows announced.

So were counting down till the end. Legends and flash are the only of the original group to remain.

I think Legends will be the next one to go.

The Flash is the only one with stable ratings.

So considering Black Lightning is ending in Season 4, will Tobias Whale finally be defeated and how? Is he going to be arrested for good or killed by the many many people that want him dead?

I think there are decent odds he dies.

We already spent a decent amount of time with him captured, so I think if the show ended with the same thing happening again it'd be a bit lackluster.

I guess they could do both if he's captured by anyone who won't or can't provide the drug he takes.
