He'll disappear once it comes time for Jefferson to take back his position for real. Until then I don't foresee him changing.

The madness is catching.

Yes, I see this as a major screw up on Jefferson's part. Surely there had to be a teacher who could do the job better than, "actively racist administrator."

Inb 4 they're on Tobias' payroll, because he's just that much of a dick.

Speaking of him, Tobias' constant hateful comments towards black people are really getting forced and silly by now.

I mean dude, even if you don't see yourself as black, your fucking SISTER was a black woman!

Even if there were, how would Jefferson know about them? The only options were him and Lowry. Right now, he feels it's better to keep Lowry in check than become principal only to disappoint the kids again. What happens if we get another situation like Whale attacking the school and Jeff (as far as the students and staff are aware) is nowhere to be seen? This happening a second time will likely turn the students against him as well.

It seems to me like Tobias' hatred towards black people is more focused on black males. He seemed to take a lot of pleasure from trolling Lala and it didn't take long for him to drop the nice guy act around Khalil. By contrast, he was respectful to Lady Eve (even if he wanted to usurp her), loved his sister, seems to care about Cutter and refused to harm Khalil's mother, even complimenting her courage. And I doubt Cutter would sleep with him if he ever made a disrespectful comment about black women.

Also, I don't think it's that Whale doesn't see himself as black (he's not Uncle Ruckus). He just views himself as more sophisticated than all those other "trifling, no-good negroes".

Either way, it's just another notch in the "outstayed his welcome" column. We need a new Big Bad, please and thank you.

I still like seeing him, but again, I'd like a new Big Bad contender. They got rid of Lady Eve way too soon, tbh.

I don't mind Whale as a villain but the trick to making a good recurring villain is you let the hero get some wins on him.

Whale has been non-stop Karma Houdini from the beginning to the end.

So is Grace a Kumiho? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumiho She can shapeshift and the feral nature on display in this episode hints at a carnivore like creature.

Lala coming back feels like yet more glut to an overstuffed season. Not to mention we still haven't had any follow up to that teleporter from the mid season finale.

Well, we can say that Grace is very different from her comics self huh?

I knew they wouldn't make her an Amazon like her comic counterpart was retconned into, I just didn't expect whatever this route is.

I'm so tired of the boss man treating their living super weapons like crap cliche, it's so impractical.

Glad Lala's back. He's an interesting character. But yeah, it feels like they're adding too many storylines, specially since the season is ending by the end of the month.

I just want someone in that family to have some super heroic fashion sense. That's not too much to ask.

Guess Lala will be the one to off Tobias, so that the Pierce's can keep their clean slates.

Pierce saying killing Tobias would change nothing is the most incorrect thing ever said on this show.

I swear, stuff like that is the reason people become so critical of Thou Shalt Not Kill.

That is, unless they reveal that Tobias dying would cause an Evil Power Vacuum.

Interesting how Dr Jace was worried about BL killing Joe despite Jefferson supposedly having a no kill rule.
